Growing them in single bucket DWC. Green Crack Auto is in a 5gal, and the Blue Dream'matic is in a 3.5gal. I put them directly into the hydroton, just above the water line. That way the bubbles from the water kept the area moist. I put them in their buckets on 6/21, and they popped their taproot on 6/22. I didn't add any nutes to the water. That will come next week.
They're coming along nicely! Took them a couple days, but they finally shed their seed shell. The Green Crack took longer than the Blue Dream'matic to lose her seed, and because of that, her leaves look a little funky. But, she's doing great now! I'm running GH Flora series with the Green Crack, and Advanced Nutrients GMB with the Blue Dream'matic. Getting bigger by the day!
This was kind of a rough week for the Blue Dream'matic. I'm not sure if she's really sensitive to the pH of the water? It's either that, or my bucket is having trouble maintaining it's pH. Either way, she was having a hard time. I changed her water, added nutes, and lowered the pH from 5.9 to 5.8. Now, let's see if that helps. The Green Crack, on the other hand, is doing fantastic! She's about twice the size of the BD, and is doing great!
The Green Crack is thriving!!! She's getting huge, and her stalk is massive! The blue dream, on the other hand, is being uncooperative.. Been trying to figure out which pH she likes, and that's been kind of a hassle. She's very finicky.. But, she's still growing. She's not very big, but she's growing nonetheless.
Added some great white mycorrhizae to the Blue Dream'matic, and she's thriving now! Haven't changed the water in my Green Crack yet, but that's coming today. Both are getting big, and just started showing signs of pre-flower!
These plants are QUICKLY outgrowing my tent! No matter how much LST I do, they're almost too bushy! I'm to the point of buying a new tent to put them in. Since they're just starting week 2 of flower, I'll run out of room before they finish!
These girls are absolutely MASSIVE! They're outgrowing my 4×2 tent, and I'm almost to the point of having to get a new tent. That way they can actually have enough room grow!
Buds are getting fatter! Had an issue with lockout on the Blue Dream'matic, but I got it fixed, and she's starting to recover. BD buds are hard as a rock! Did some major defoliation, on both plants, earlier this week. It was much needed! They're inching closer and closer to the finish line! I'm fairly confident that they're gonna give me at least a pound. Hopefully more! 🤞
Flushed the Blue Dream'matic to help with the nutrient lockout I had going on. Mixed in come new water, and now she should be good. Both are getting big, and putting on some serious weight! The Green Crack still has a few weeks left. But, by the way the BD is looking, she had maybe 2 weeks left!
Most definitely sativa dominant! She ended up being an absolute MONSTER! It was, by far, the biggest plant I've harvested to date!! I'm excited for it to dry and cure! Even though I don't smoke, I think I might actually give this one a try!!
This girl is absolutely huge!!! My Blue Dream'matic gave me almost 2.5lbs wet, and this girl is already WAY bigger than the BD was! And this one still has a couple weeks left! I'm so stoked for this one to finish! I'll have more end product than I'll know what to do with! 🤣😂
These girls took a little longer than a "normal" auto. But, I already knew that going into this grow. These are 2 of my favorite strains. So, I'm more than happy to wait a little longer for them to finish.

Is that a seed just germinating amongst the clay pellets? I'm amazed that is even possible. What leads you to this unusual and seemingly precarious method?
@dnkypnchbndit, I see. I agree with Rockwool not being very good for seeds, it's to tough. However even though you're getting a good germination rate I'd still suggest something like the eazyplug, because young seedlings can get their fine roots damage just by some early movement, but the eazyplug will stabilise it. Just a thought, and it's just as easy, I don't soak the bean just put it directly into a plug, I also am using clay pellets.
@Freddd, yeah, I place the seed just above the water line. That way the bubbles from the air stone keep the area nice and moist. I've used rockwool, but I had horrible luck with it. This method has given me a 100% germination rate! Hadn't failed me yet!

I may be getting ready to run 5 blue dreams on my next grow any tips on the ghe ferts? I use them now and I'm struggling to find a good feed. Best of luck and Happy growing!!😎🌱💚💪💪
@Wackytabacky_420, I went by the directions that came on the box. If they showed any signs of deficiency/toxicity, I just adjusted the nutrients according to what the problem was. But, I honestly had zero issues running full strength.
