Hey everyone it's the 30-06-21 day 9
The lighting is set now as the following
X2 250watt hps (18hours)
1 x 110w led full spectrum
1 x 45 w led full spectrum with IR and UV (24hours)
The lighting is set like this to reduce heat emissions close to midday to evening hours being the summer it can get over 30oC with the hps on so the led takes over for thoese 6 hours providing a sort of rest period for the plants I must say this has worked considerably in my favour as these plants are 9 days old and 6inch leaf spam and 6 inch in height considering I've added 2 inch of soil
Watered day 9 (p.h) 6.4 250ml per plant plus 100ml around the edge to promote root growth in all areas of the pots and also increase the humidity slightly as its sitting about 45% in veg and will continue to stay low the entire grow as ive no humidifier thoe this is what I expect to use my next run with the inbrik humidity control unit 😀
Plant on day 11 look great and onto there 3rd nodes I hoping to top the plants around node 6 giving them plenty of time to veg without introducing any stress early on ...
Anyone planning on topping must wait for the plant to show a strong vigor ( 🙏 ) leaves pointing up this indicates that the plant is happy and this will also help with recovery time make sure the plant has been just Watered and taking the water up this is the moment in week 3 appox you will want to top , normally days 21 to 28 with autos is perfect, when topped allow the plant 7 days recovery before touching the plants
Day 12 and these girls are doing great all 10 are developing well with only one plant being a runtz ... I thought that type of growth was forbidden ( runtz ) . Okay less of the jokes

Received a new IR strip from ( WISH ) I THINK I GOT SCAMMED it's looks like a peace led strip . Using the hybird lighting has been successful with noticeably huge results in less time even by day 12 there been a dramatic difference in my vegging and plants are growing considerably more with the hps and led lights with IR and UV already lighting the grow from the start . I do think we could raise lights to x2 400watt HPS and 150watt leds with full spectrum included and the IR STRIP LIGHT .
No nutes giving in any feed just nutes from soil I'll continue to monitor plants and feed when required ... feeding autos I recommend not exceeding 550 Ppm in any feed plants recover better if feed less and don't stagnate water and start to lose on oxygen at the root Zone . When watering alway measure the amount and feed according to the plants you'll know where the sweet zone is by plant reactions.

You are creating your own problems by growing with 24 hour light and this is why your plants are signalling you your concern for them.
Nothing on Planet Earth has evolved to live without sleep.
Plants NEED a dark period every 24 hours to undertake certain metabolic processes that they can not do when the lights are on and they are in active mode.
18/6 is optimum for cannabis growth, cannabis can only grow so much during any 24 hour period and this growth tops out at around 18 hours, meaning running your lights any longer than 18 hours is basically a waste of electricity.
18/6 is not a random number and has been derived at through 80+ years of research into cannabis and is a scientific fact, not fiction.
The reason they are doing amazing is your hybrid light system, especially the HPS light and not due to the 24 hours of light.
Be warned, your plants will soon collapse and fail health wise if you do not give them a night period. They NEED sleep!
Think of the 6 hours of darkness as 2 hours to recover from the day, 2 hours to rest and 2 hours to get ready for the day ahead. This is basically what happens during the night/dark period and is essential for proper plant function and health.
I have been monitoring this site for years and the amount of effed up plants that were grown under 24 hour light IS amazing, with sickly plants and mutated buds without trichomes being the normal result. As I have already said, plants NEED a sleep/dark period every 24 hours to function correctly.
If you are still sceptical, google "photosynthesis" to discover for yourself why a dark period is essential for plant health and development.
Honestly, I am trying to save you from a lot of grief down the track, not reduce your yields or trick you in any way.
I have been growing for 35+ years and think I know a lot about cannabis, (yes, a big head!), but not quite everything, however I do know one thing for sure, and that is cannabis does definitely NEED a sleep period of a minimum of 6 hours during every 24 hour period.
Your plants will grow and yield just as much, if not more, once you go to 18/6, due to them having a normally functioning metabolism, a proper circadian rhythm and be even healthier than they are now. Trust me, I have seen plenty of failures by people growing 24/0, and the fact they only ever do it once, tells me I am correct in saying 18/6 is optimum and the best light schedule for auto flowers and photoperiod plants in vegetative growth.
Could you imagine living for days/weeks/months without sleep?
It is a recipe for disaster!!
As for temps, here where I am, we get as high as 48 degrees Celsius in Summer, and periods of 40+ for 2-6 days at a time and multiple times each Summer, and as long as the plants are well watered, they don't seem to suffer in any way.
I really hope this helps you in some way, and be kind to your plants and give them what they need.... SLEEP, and all your potential problems will be averted.

Noticed what looks like a calcium issue , the four plants directly under the big led have shown sign of calcium shortage in the plants , I've put a fan on the pots I need to dry out faster to feed with some cal mag will I not use my (N) since it has some or should I use both ?
I'm using hybird lighting hps and led and yes holding back on nutes . Yesterday I added cal mag and reduce N and added 20% pk I'll monitor closely as there moving into flower very fast from veg
Hard to tell with the lighting but a calcium deficiency is an all around lack of food—- you need calcium to drive the other nutes in—- looks like you are lacking on all fronts
I would say the brown edges could be from over water/ water to frequent or could be potassium def. Your plants showing pistils so I would lower the grow and increase the bloom part of your schedule and leave the micro as is.

@DoDrugs420, thank you as you know I do thrive to do as best as possible under a tight budget but these genetics are outstanding 3/5 of these Runtz are at the better end of dairys at only 35 days today from seed @fast_buds seeds are amazing
They look so good 😍 although I can and most growers can tell when an auto is not on 24 hours! I'd say it's 18/6 judging by the spacing in the fan leaves and between the nodes! But details smeatails they're still amazing, doing better than me one GG 👊🏽💯
@BB_UK, the lighting is 18 hours hps and led and 6 hours led only during the hot part of the day .. its still 24 hour lighting but the plants are still responding like 18-6 only for you bringing this up I'd forgotten to mention that in my dairy ... thanks grow bro
@Igrowneil, here its soo hot 34C max min 20C :S and outside it not so good cuz crazy meteo and indoor i have 30c in room without growbox... imma try outdoor untill temperature be down... good luck bro
@TeknoRanger, where 26oc but by he'll I can't run my hps or my temps are 32oC or above so I'm using led hps for 16 hours the only led the remaining 8 hours as its my only option but plants aren't doing to bad considering and development is very much on track some side branchs are already onto there 5th nodes which means during stretch I'll get a load more and that says a good harvest is in store no matter which way there getting there light its still keeping them happy enough to power on with growth .

@MrHightimes, it's during the day at the moment it's upto 30oC so I'm running led only but it's still upto 34oC thoe plants seem to be doing okay with the fans going
