I have used virtually no nutes up to this point, other than what was in the happy frog soil to start with. No deficiencies to speak of. I’ll start feeding some nutes this week.

gdogfunk First full week of flower complete and there’s definitely a boost in growth! I’ve been doing something a little different this time. Instead of watering consistently every other day, I’m going days in between until they start to look sad. They pop right back after watering. I’m not sure if that will help or hinder growth, but so far, there’s no big negative and I’m saving money on nutes!

gdogfunk I did a pretty substantial defol this week to allow more lights to the buds. I’ve switched over to my old nutrient combo just to see if there is a much of a difference compared to the Emerald Harvest line. Looking back to my first few grows using this nutrient line, I did have fantastic results and amazing flavors and smells. Time will tell!

gdogfunk I believe I had a pH issue that turned the fan leaves yellow. I believe I have it corrected and it hasn’t hit the outer buds. Time will tell, but I think she will be just fine.

@PersonalSmok3s, thanks for the kind words! To be honest, I don’t know how much of a difference it really makes for my plants. I bought a liter of it once and the bottle bulged for no reason like it was going to explode on me and they sent me an entire gallon several years ago and I’ve barely touched it. It’s not even listed in the nutes on this site when you try to add it to your diary. Maybe it’s better for hydro, but for soil, it’s such a minuscule amount that I’m not convinced it does anything. On the other hand, URB organic is fantastic at reducing the amount of nutes you need and it’s great for the soil. I use 15ml/gal with cal mag and sturdy stalk on my non-feeding days. I also innoculate the soil with 30ml/gal and about 15ml/gal hi-brix molasses for plants. Basically the idea is to have a carbohydrate source for the soil humate to feed on (URB). I hope this helps!
