Welcome Back fellow growers for the start of Grow # 28. Since I've been growing for a little 3 years now and have had much success, I decided it was time to do some upgrading, kind of like a treat to myself for winning awards and having successful harvests, so this grow will feature a completely new grow setup than before. I decided to go with Fastbuds Purple Punch Auto. This is a giant autoflower that reaches 150cm and produces massive yields of up to 600gr/m2, a modern Cali strain that offers what a top-quality Indica-dominant hybrid should; nugs capped in resin with the density you would expect from Indica-dominant strains and that bag appeal that will surprise even the most experienced growers. Expect beautiful purple and magenta hues that come along with a sweet almost pastry-like taste and, thanks to the 24% THC, a very pleasant and potent effect that surprisingly starts as a motivating high and in no time relaxes you completely, taking a bit of the energetic edge off. Now before I get started with the germination process down below will be a list of the equipment I'll be using : AC Infinity CLOUDLINE T4, Quiet 4” Inline Duct Fan with Temperature Humidity Controller AC Infinity CLOUDLAB 642 Advance Grow Tent, 4x2 AC Infinity RAXIAL S4, Inline Booster Duct Fan 4” with Speed Controller AC Infinity Flexible 4-Inch Aluminum Ducting, Heavy-Duty Four-Layer Protection, 8-Feet Long VIVOSUN 300W LED Grow Light Full Spectrum with Double Switch VIVOSUN 300W LED Grow Light Full Spectrum AC Infinity Air Carbon Filter 4" General Hydroponics pH Control Kit General Hydroponics FloraBloom 0-5-4 General Hydroponics FloraMicro 5-0-1 Botanicare Cal-Mag Plus 2-0-0 Fox Farm Happy Frog Organic Potting Soil Mix Pro Cal HGPK2PHD Premium Nursery Pot 4x 6-inch 2-Speed Desk Fan with Clip and Fully Adjustable Tilt Ruolan PH Meter Monday, ‎June ‎14, ‎2021 The seed was placed in a shot glass of water that had a ph of 6.29, I'll come back in 18-hours to see if it's dropped to the bottom of the shot glass. Tuesday, ‎June ‎15, ‎2021 Checked on the seed late this afternoon and after a slight tap from the finger, the seed floated right to the bottom of the shot glass. Wednesday, ‎June ‎16, ‎2021 The seed has been soaking now for 48 hours and is cracked open and showing a taproot. I then placed the seed inside a moist paper towel, that was put into a plastic container, inside of the grow tent. I'll come back after so many hours to make the paper towel is still moist and to check on the taproot to see if it's long enough to go into the soil. ‎Thursday, ‎June ‎17, ‎2021 Mid-morning I checked on the seed and the taproot had already grown to about 1cm long so it was transplanted into a 1.7-gallon plastic pot with Fox Farm Happy Frog Potting Soil, then I lightly watered around the area where the seed was planted with water that had a ph of 6.12. After that, I place the pot in the tent with the lights off until I see something peeking through the soil then I'll turn on the lights. Throughout the day I'll check on them to see if the topsoil is still moist if not I'll lightly mist it again. ‎Friday, ‎June ‎18, ‎2021 Within 24-hours the seed has popped above the soil. The true leaves are still too though small to start counting days. So far the new AC Infinity setup has been perfect, keeping the temp and humidity right where I need it to be. ‎Saturday, ‎June ‎19, ‎2021 Not much to report today the seedling is doing great, the environment has been perfect, the temperature has stayed at a steady 79℉ and the humidity has been between 55-60%. WEEK 1‎ Monday, ‎June ‎21, ‎2021 (Day 1) Today officially starts Day 1 for the seedling. Everything seems great, I did notice a little bit of stretching but nothing alarming and it has seemed to stop. The seedling is being misted about twice a day with ph balanced water, just to keep the topsoil moist. ‎Wednesday, ‎June ‎23, ‎2021 (Day 3) Seedling is doing wonderful and not much to report, took height measurement today. ‎ Thursday, ‎June ‎24, ‎2021 (Day 4) Seedling received its first watering today, I gave the little lady 250 ml of water that had a ph of 6.35 ‎ Friday, ‎June ‎25, ‎2021 (Day 5) Woke up today to one happy seedling, seems the seedling responded very well to its first watering and is praying to the lights happy as can be. I also cleaned the tent this morning to make sure everything stays nice and clean and pest-free. Saturday, ‎June ‎26, ‎2021 (Day 6) Not much to report, check on the seedling once today, everything is still going well. Sunday, June 27, 2021 (Day 7) Last day of Week 1 for the seedling and I must say that I'm very pleased with how things have been going so far, and even more pleased with how the new setup has been performing, I'm hoping that I can continue with keeping the environment stable so the young seedling can have optimal growth.

Week 2 ‎Monday, ‎June ‎28, ‎2021 (Day 8) Checked on the young seedling once today, still looking good and growing. Tomorrow I'll check to see if it's time for watering. ‎ Tuesday, ‎June ‎29, ‎2021 (Day 9) Woke up today and gave the seedling a watering. It received 250 ml of water that had a ph of 6.31, I also went ahead and cleaned out the tent again, trying to keep it as clean as possible. Wednesday, June 30, 2021 (Day 10) Nothing to report today, really just looked at the monitor to make sure the environment was stable. ‎Friday, ‎July ‎2, ‎2021 (Day 12) Woke up today and checked on the seedling I noticed the soil was dry after sticking my finger about an inch and a half into the soil, so I went ahead watered it, giving it 250 ml of water that had a ph of 6.23, also check it's height to see how much it's grown within the last week. I also went ahead and lowered the light to 18" inches since I'm close to ending Week 2. ‎Saturday, ‎July ‎3, ‎2021 (Day 13) The plant is looking great and growing right on pace. Took some time today to examine it and it's starting to show signs that it's going into full-blown veg along with showing it's almost time to start feeding, I'll more than likely start in Week 3. Sunday, July 4, 2021 (Day 14) Another great week has come to an end. Everything has been spot on, today I got up early and took photos and measurements to see how tall the young plant is now.

‎Monday, ‎July ‎5, ‎2021 (Day 15) Checked on the young plant a couple of times today, basically because I was bored. Lol. Really starting to see the growth, I'm seeing growth almost daily now. I'll be checking to see if it's time for a watering tomorrow. ‎Tuesday, ‎July ‎6, ‎2021 (Day 16) Today was watering day, the young plant was dry so It got 250 ml of plain water that had a ph of 6.19, the plant was also rotated around in the tent amongst the others I'm growing at this time ‎Thursday, ‎July ‎8, ‎2021 (Day 18) The plant is doing great, took measurements today to see how much it's grown over the last 7-days and it's added another 2.5 inches in height. Not liking the big internodal space. ‎Friday, ‎July ‎9, ‎2021 (Day 19) Today was watering day, so the plant got 250 ml of water that had a ph of 6.35, also since I'm getting close to the end of week 3 I went ahead and started Low-Stress Training. I normally let my plants grow naturally without any training but this time I wanted to make sure I'm getting as much as I can when it comes to my yield. Hopefully, I did it right and which will result in a very even canopy. ‎Saturday, ‎July ‎10, ‎2021 (Day 20) 24 hours after starting LST and the plant is already bouncing back from the training is pointed straight at the light. I went in today and did a little leaf tucking but nothing else needed to be done today in the garden. ‎Sunday, ‎July ‎11, ‎2021 (Day 21) Another awesome week has finally come to end. The plant is still responding great to the LST that I started on Friday. Since then I've been going in daily and doing some leaf tucking to make sure the bottom half is being exposed to the light.

Week 4 Monday, July 12, 2021 (Day 22) Not much to do today but some leaf tucking, I'll wait until tomorrow to adjust the tie downs and to give the plant its first nutrient feeding. ‎Tuesday, ‎July ‎13, ‎2021 (Day 23) Today I re-adjusted the initial tie-down, along with giving the plant its first nutrient feeding, the plant got 2ml of Cal-Mag and FloraMicro, and 4ml of FloraBloom, the water had a ph of 6.35,I'll check and see how it responded to the nutrients in the morning, I think I might go ahead and clean out the tent while I'm at it also. ‎Wednesday, ‎July ‎14, ‎2021 (Day 24) Did some leaf tucking today, while checking on the plant, it seems to be ok after its first nutrient feeding. ‎Saturday, ‎July ‎17, ‎2021 (Day 27) This afternoon I went ahead and watered the plant, she was given 250 ml of plain water that had a ph of 6.39, I also raised the light up a bit, to keep it at 18" inches away from the canopy. ‎Sunday, ‎July ‎18, ‎2021 (Day 28) Went to check on the plants today and Purple Punch is now flowering. Wish I could have done a better job with the LST before she started flowering.

Back with an update on the Purple Punch and things seem to be good still with this one despite all the issues I had this week with the environment and ph. Loving the trichome production so far and the amazing aroma she's giving off is so heavenly. Well, ladies and Gent's that's going to be all for this week so until next time fellow growers, and remember ... "Happy Growing" and "Free your mind one puff at a time".

Back with an update on the Purple Punch from Fastbuds and we starting to reach the home stretch. Despite the problems from last week that have been corrected this plant has just been moving right along without a hiccup. She's starting to really stack some weight to her bud sights along with some crazy trichome production. After the Wedding Glue comes down I think this plant will be the next to be ready to harvest. Well, ladies and Gent's that's going to be all for this week so until next time fellow growers, and remember ... "Happy Growing" and "Free your mind one puff at a time".

Hey Guys, back to give an update on the Fastbuds Purple Punch Auto, and we are super close to the end, so close she's being flushed and I've been watching the trichomes almost every other day. This lady has turned into a true frost monster, and I can't wait until is truly done. Well, ladies and Gent's that's going to be all for this week so until next time fellow growers, and remember ... We've reached the end of another grow guy's and this one has turned out to be pure quality. During the 9-week life cycle of this plant I never really had any issues with it at all, she ended up with rounded compact buds with fat calyxes and bright orange hairs, with copious amounts of trichomes that give the buds that beautiful frosty look that all growers seek for. The buds had a lime-green tone that give them a charming and attractive look and complement them magnificently, while the mouth-watering mix of earthy cherries and blueberry muffins with a spicy touch will win you over even before you can see the buds. After flushing her for 7-days I chopped her down and cut her down into branches and went with the brown paper bag method for drying, it took her a total of 5-days to completely dry. she's now in a jar curing, in the end, I ended up with 17.5 grams of pure dank. The only thing that I would do differently next time would be to grow it in a bigger pot to get a bigger yield. Lol Well, that's going to be all for this grow guys, so until next time fellow growers and remember ..." Happy Growing" and "Free your mind one puff at a time"
