We started this week off with a hailstorm on day 22. All the plants took some damage but it looks like they will be ok. All of them are starting to form the side branches.
The plants showed significant growth this week despite the hail damage. The Six Shooters and the Tangie have shown a few flowers. We have started feeding them Big Bloom at half strength.
All of them are showing flowers except for the Blue Dream. There has been substantial growth and branching this week. Windy days have promoted thick stems and they looking great.
The Blue Dream still has not shown any flowers. The rest are forming buds. We have been turning the pots a quarter turn everyday for more sunshine from all sides.
Day 49 from seed. The Blue Dream has started to show a few flowers. The Blackberry has stretched up to be the tallest at 20". The second Six Shooter is the shortest one at 14" tall. The GSC seems to have the thickest bud formation. The Tangie has shown the most trichome production.
Day 56: No nutrients this week, just water. The plants have ended up smaller than we hoped. The first 2 weeks had several cloudy days and low light conditions which really seemed to make a significant difference on size and yield. The Blue Dream has not started forming buds yet and has grown larger than the rest of them. The buds on the smaller plants all look and smell great. Looks like the Six Shooters and Tangie'matic may be ready for harvest next week.
Day 61 we harvested the 2 Six Shooters and the Tangie in the early morning. The G.S.C. and Blackberry will be ready next week. The Blue Dream still has not started forming buds. I decided to try a flush experiment with the first Six Shooter by placing it in water to keep it alive for a few days after cutting it. After 36 hrs it has become lighter in color and still perked up and alive. It appears to be breaking down chlorophyll.
@dailygrower, I mixed 1 bag (2 cu. ft.) of Happy Frog, 1 bag (1.5 cu. ft.) of Ocean Forest and about 3-4 gal. of coco coir. It was enough for 8 pots (4 gal.).
