Well hell.
This has been a good week and I've started my harvesting in a few different phases. Trichomes are cloudy and for me that's good.
Today I chopped off about a 1/3 + of the top part of the plant and did some trimming and washing of the buds. Yes, washing! I've done it before and it didn't seem to really have any effect on the potency of the weed. All I do is I use 1/4 cup of baking soda and 1/4 cup of lemon juice and add that to a 5 gallon bucket of water and dip and kind of stir the bud around to help get rid of all the dust and possibly little bugs and dead bugs and gross shit like that. Then I just have 2 other 5 gallon buckets with fresh clean water to rinse off and then shake the excess water off and hang to dry.
Had to throw away a few branches that had become the victims of bud rot. 😭... It really wasn't that bad, but I just side on the side of precaution and toss out the whole branch.
Cut out the nutrients about 10 days ago and I'll probably harvest the rest sometime next week after I jar up and start the curing process with the other batch.
Other than that this plant is just about done.
✋ I got a question.
I've been using Silica Blast for the whole grow.
Should I keep using it till the end or is there a cut off date when I should stop using it? Like 2 weeks before harvest or something?
Thanks
It's looking great. Probably 3 or 4 weeks ahead in the budding stage than mine, I'm in England and Autumn/Fall is coming in so it's a concern that the mild climate might slow down flowering too much. t's gonna be touch and go!!!! I've also had to top it every week to stop it towering over the neighbour's wall :) Shame I can't post a pic, my Aya is as beautiful as yours but different, like blondes and brunettes!
@RacecaR,
I lost big 5 branches in the vegging stage where it grew so abundantly it couldn't support itself in strong winds. I'm about week 3 of flowering and lready added support to all the branches. I seeded it at the end of Feb but it grew a bit mutated, the first three nodes all grew from the same place instead of spacing out. I wasn't expecting much of it so I stuck it in a raised bed that had been a compost heap not expecting anything. I have a live Bay Tree stump 3 ft away that draws nutrients through the soil so I haven't needed to feed it anything or water it, it's a mini miracle! It's huge, my mate at a grow shop said it looks like its in 'the epitome of good health'
Que maravilha ✌️
Boa sorte no cultivo e aproveita o desenvolvimento 👍
E no final que tenhas uma grande colheita 🌱🌱

I've got a monster one of these too. It was a bit stunted in its growth back in May so I just stuck it at the edge of an old compost heap to see if anything happened and it's gone nuts. Like yours, I seeded early, it's 4 1/2 feet tall and has branches like oaks. Looking forward to seeing your progress
