Cheese-First Grow

Hello, this is my first grow and diary. I have 4 plants going, all from M.O.C. and good genetics! I soaked 3 Auto Cheese and 1 Blueberry Domina in PH'd water (6.7) for 24 hours before transferring them to the paper towel method for 12 hours after that. Not bad cause all 4 popped within that 36 hour span. This week went by smoothly and I finished the germ process in their final containers, (5 gallon equivalent air-pot). I made DIY RH domes from the bottom of water bottles. They actually popped out of the soil within 24 hours after planting. I am only watering with plain PH'd water between 6.3 and 6.8 and rotating the PH within that range every watering. This week I only watering 1/2 gallon per 4 pots everyday.

Week 1 down and I added another bulb to my T5 fixture at the end of Day 6. Day 11 and I turned my exhaust fan on. I've also had a oscillating fan on them since they popped from the soil. I'm watering everyday at 1/2 gallon per 4 pots. I don't want to drown them since their Autos. Day 14: 2 weeks down and added a 4th bulb to the fixture.

This seems like a slow week. I didn't take any pics during this week as I was really busy. I did get 1 pic at the end of the week. They definitely put some height on every day which is awesome compared to photos. Day 17: I had my local hydro shop guy give me a free sample of Azos Root Booster and I watered all 4 plants as a root drench. Day 18: I started the LST process and I'm not that good at it. After contacting the breeder, they recommend I be at 75% strength on around day 35. Day 19: started off with around 10% strength nutes and will gradually work up to 50%. These girls are taking off after 3 weeks

Moving into week 4 I bumped the feeding to 1/4 strength and they seem to be loving it with using 1 1/2 gallons per all 4 plants. I'm really happy with the growth that has gone on from last week til this week. They are real green and getting bushy. I have 1 AC that seems to be leaning more Sativa side, but we shall see. I am continuing to LST throughout the week as I'm checking on them. I'm trying to maintain my light being 30" from the tops. Watering: I have to water everyday, with that being said, I will use plain tap PH'd water (dechlorinated by sitting out), then the next day is a nute feed, then plain water, then nutes and so forth.

This week is gaining new heights and smells. It seriously is starting to smell like an old UK cheese. It will hit you right up the nostril and hit ya hard. Day 30: Bummer as a module on my KIND LED has gone out, and it's not the first time. I'm def rethinking a different LED company in the near future. I am losing wattage, no clue how much, but I'm running a K3 L450 and I will have to send it back, for the 2nd time, to get fixed. Watering: I started out with 1/4 strength at the beginning of the week ending up with 1/2 strength towards the end and that's where I'm may stop. I will adjust if need be. The nutrient section will be at 50% strength. End of the week, Day 35: Man these girls are bushy and all of them have 10+ tops each. They will def fill this tent.

Day 36 update: Switched to flowering nutes this week and I was debating on a flush but the girls look pretty healthy so I'm going to hold off for now. I am using it at 50% strength and if they need more I will adjust accordingly. Day 37 update: Had to flush all 4 of them. The soil looked bad. The soil prep in the beginning consisted of FFOF, 15% extra perlite, 10% extra earthworm castings. I will lay off the castings in the beginning of the grow next time. Day 42 update: These girls are still going vertical and they need to stop! On average, they are around 29" tall and very bushy. It has definitely filled out in the tent, as I have no more room in there. I have one of the Auto Cheese NL that hasn't even begun to pre-flower yet and that's my tallest girl in there. 2 Auto Cheese NL are flowering nicely, and the Blueberry Domina is still slow to flower, but it's playing catch up.

I had 1 Auto Cheese NL that grew real tall and is very slow to flower so I may give her to a buddy to finish. Almost 7 weeks down and I think the grow is going pretty well. Only 1 of my Auto Cheese are in full flower mode, and the other's are slower to produce but hopefully they will catch up by the end of this week going into week 8. I def think that a couple of these girls will go past that date where they are supposed to be harvested (65-67 days).

I started the week off on Week 7 on the FF grow chart @ 50%. The buds on both Auto Cheese are gaining weight nicely, and the Blueberry Domina is not far behind those 2 ladies. I did see a little light burn on some of my ABD leaves, only a couple though, so I moved her to the corner. Hopefully she will get enough light. I am on Day 52 as of 4 June, so not too far off for harvest. I do have a couple more Auto's in the same tent as these ladies. Day 55: The buds on both of the Auto Cheese NL are swelling nicely with a ton of thrichs already. The Auto Blueberry Domona (ABD) is playing catch up but she is filling in nicely tucked in the corner for time-out.

I started this week on Week 8 on the FF feed chart at 50%, and will take it down to 25% for AC #1. It won't let me add the Fox Farm Bembe nutrient because they don't have a spot for it. I will have to take and flush the Auto Cheese #1 by week end cause she is almost ready to harvest. The other AC and ABD will take an extra week in flowering and then it will be flush time for them also. The smell is very powerful coming from Auto Cheese #1, that's the one that smells of old cheese 11 June Day 59: I had to flush the Auto Cheese #1 this morning and will wait til the soil dries out while in the tent. I will then move her to the dark for 48 hours before I chop her. This one will be done by the breeders timeline of 65-67 days.

15 June: Day 63, I harvested one of the AC and got 55 grams wet weight from the plant. I did cut it down early, and I needed to. The AC #2 and ABD still have some time to go until harvest.I will try and take some better pictures if I get some time to. The AC is has a really pungent smell to it and the ABD, well I can't smell that one cause the AC is taking over. 22 June: 10 weeks down. I flushed out both the Auto Cheese and Blueberry Domina. The ABD still has a couple week so I will dial her nute level to 25% til her next flush and the AC is just getting plain PH'd water between 6.2-6.5 range

I will definitely have to grow this strain out a few weeks past the 9.5 weeks from the breeder website. A little more time and patience with her, she will reward me next go around.😬 It's still drying out as of 03 July, so I will update this once I get some weight on the scales. Plus, I took a few branches off before she got chopped and that was 14.3 grams. Gotta try it out!161690

This week I moved into Week 11 feeding the girl on Week 10 on the grow chart @ 50%. Her buds seem to be getting dense, but I think she is too close too the light, hence, will not make the buds fatten up the way they are supposed to

I moved into this week feeding the same schedule as last week and may taper it off but we shall see. He lower buds look amazing but her higher buds still need time to fatten up for sure. She smells of berries for sure when you get up on her.

I moved into Week 13 saying to myself, hell, these MOC girls went way past their dates of supposed harvest, so I am flushing this week to get her ready for chop chop! Thrichs are clear as day, but I'm hoping for at least 40% cloudy by the time flush is completed. It's just plain pH'd water ranging from 6.2 - 6.3 range until she gets the axe. 11 July: Day 89 update. This girl is stinky!!! She smells of berries and spices and I squeeze a bud, WOW, sticky as F@@K and smells DANK!!! Thrichs are still clear but I'm hopeful by next week I can put her in the colder dark closet for 48 hours before I cut her.

She got bigger than I wanted her to be, but she was controllable for sure. I am going to grow this strain again, but maybe under a SCROG setup. 14 July, I put her in a dark cold closet for 24 hours before chopping her. I will update the weights once I'm fully complete with cutting fans and manicuring her.00
