This squat, bushy plant is finally getting some clearance from the soil haha! Only a couple inches since last week, but some vertical growth is nice to see nonetheless. May do some additional defoliation next week as there's just soooo many leaves - but no rot to be found and she seems healthy enough so far! ๐

Should I continue defoliating and removing leaves to increase light penetration on this one? She's incredibly bushy and just exploding with leaves. I trimmed 7-8 larger, lower leaves last week and am hesitant to do more until at least next week. Idk, what do you all think?

You are at week 5โ flipping at 6? Or 7/8? Defoliate 1-2 weeks prior to the flip taking off large lower fans and sucker branches. Or just start slow and clean up the bottom and two large fansโ- either way, you are fine! She will grow into it during the stretch! โ๏ธ๐ป๐๐ฟ๐จ
