This week I have seen some great recovery from the plants after they suffered from nutrient deficiencies due to a pH lockout in the medium. After watering the plants with only water at a pH of 6.5 for a few days I began to reintroduce their nutrients with their waterings. The colour has begun to return to the plants as the new leaves have grown back green and the older leaves are no longer showing signs of worsening nutrient problems. I did a big defoliation this week in order to eliminate a lot of the dead foliage that had been affected by the nutrient problems, I also needed to defoliate to make it easy to water the plants.
This week I finished my Northern Lights Automatic grow so I was able to transfer my carbon filter and fans over to this tent after thoroughly cleaning them will alcohol wipes, this has greatly increased airflow within the tent. I am planning to probably keep these plants in the vegetative state for another week or two before transitioning these plants into flower in order for them to grow a little bigger and recover from their nutrient issues.
The plants seems to have almost outgrown their pots and may soon have problems with being rebound which may result in me having to buy slightly larger pots. Hopefully I can continue the rest of the grow in their current pots but I will monitor the plants growth and decide what to do over the coming weeks.
Yeah ladies are looking better ๐๐พ I'm also thinking of Vegging mine for an extra week! This run hasn't been as smooth for me either, tiny issues here n there but not too bad ๐๐พ๐ฑ๐
@@Pingu, damn I wish I would have read this comment 1hour earlier, literally just switched the lights off for 24hrs ๐ I do have a nice height to them, they are still looking healthy so I thought why not! About to update now ๐๐พ
@Santica_Garden, yeah I think its best to let the plants recover a bit before transitioning into flower. Your plants are looking really healthy. Keep up the good work
Yeah Roberts gave you some good advice ๐๐พAll I would advise is get rid of all the dying leaf's and the ones with the brown spot's and feed the ladies, they look hungry as you already know ๐ . If you have hydrogen peroxide, when you next give them plain water, add abit of that to it! I've been having the opposite, fed my ladies abit too much ๐ all week they have just been getting plain PH water... They are still looking good! All I would advise is get rid of all the dying leaf's and the ones with the brown spot's, if you have hydrogen peroxide, when you next give them plain water, add abit of that to it! ๐๐พ
@Santica_Garden, thanks man I will definitely have a look into giving hydrogen peroxide to the plants when I water them next. Your grow of the Dark Phoenix is looking phenomenal I can't wait to see how the harvest turns out!
