Well first lessons were for sure learned this week. What I thought was a deficiency starting a couple weeks ago was actually early leaf spot. Been trying to defoliate affected leaves and tried a couple sprays but it's definitely got a hold on the babies. Don't think I'll be able to shake it and I'm hoping it's not gonna affect harvest if they even live till then. Wish me luck, hopefully we make it, just 3 weeks to go! Other than that expirement is going ok hard to tell if I had any burn issues. I'm really like the bud site development on the organic plants. The ones with the most organics given and in 5 gal seem to be taking their time to flower all the other ones moving along fine. #3 and #4 I think are not done surprising me.
This is for those of you growmies using LED.... When do you guys usually give em the max dose? Rn I'm sitting at 75% and starting week 3. I think they're doing pretty decent
Depends on hang height obviously, but your diary says 24โ.. Iโd have that SF1000 at 100% at that height. I highly recommend this app called โPhotoneโ if you have to spend.. itโs quite accurate for giving you a PPFD - which you want at least 500 and closer to 800-1000 in flower..
Good luck with your grow I hope you get the best taste of buds and healthy plants! Take care and stay lit! I will drop by sometimes to check on your process! Say hello if you ever visit my page!

I've been growing autos in Foxfarm Ocean Forest soil for about a year and a half. If you're using soil that is already filled with nutrients (and even if your not) autos barely need any food. They will burn SUPER easy. I've had grows where I never went over 1/4 strength the entire grow. Certain strains can handle half strength towards the middle of flower but alot of them do great w only 1/4 strength. Otherwise you're gonna burn the piss out of your plants. I would say unless you're using plain soil with nothing in it, keep your nutrient strength at 1/4 strength unless you see the start of deficiencies then you can up the dose.
Also.... autos do NOT do well with overwatering or any other kind of stress. Every time you stress them out, your affecting the overall quality and harvest. With autos you just gotta keep it simple
@JasonMichael420, yes, one thing I found out forsure. I ended up getting scared cause I had burning going on so I stopped but didn't realize it was a deficiency and burn going on at the same time but I was too scared to give more nutrient. Also thought they would finish faster than what they did. But I have a feeling this next one going to go a lot better. When do you usually start to feed your plants? I found with FFOF they started looking hungry before week 4
Hope it goes well for you bud, I'm dealing with my first nitrogen deficiency and it hurts to see them looking ill when they were doing so well, all learning I guess
@Budbuddy84, yeah man learning for sure now I know about this leaf spot and I'll be ready next grow. Be able to pick what I want to defoliate haha but gotta find out what works you know
