Hi, when curing leave the buds to dry until outsides of the buds feel dry and small stems snap and don't make 'strings' then place in a jar and in the beginning open up to twice or three times a day for 30 mins to an hour. Each time you open the jars and feel if outside of buds feel soft and moist again. if the buds are still dry when you open the jar leave it closed for a longer period of time. repeat this process of letting the bud 'soak in its own moisture and letting it dry a little and slowly the smell will develop more and more. After a week or two you should be able to leave the jars closed permanently to prevent dry bud.

It’s an hybrid, you can tell by the leaves, and as it is from Barney’s Farm the strain has been stabilized by skilled hands and shows the 2 characteristic of the parents. Proper Sativa’s leaves or more thin and delicate.

looking really healthy nice structure going to them . 😀 as long as keep top traing won't have problems 😀

PoisonIvycommented6 years ago
@Fergie, Hi hope you're fine, well I had planned to set up a net, this is not a true scrog but it help me to arrange the canopy =) I am pretty happy with the result. I hope because I chopped them hard before the bloom, the stretch will not be violent because I don"t have much height space in my small tent !
Fergie
Fergiecommented7 years ago
@@PoisonIvy,i would personally do a small scrog set up when go flower and can control canopy better spread out and if start too bush can even do second level to keep under control . 😀will know better closer time switch over and once stretch comes 😉i have a scrog over my hawain wave strain as was almost hit top tent one point -all good now . Looking good off to great start 😀😉

@Fergie, Thanks mate, You mean cropping during the stretch ? =) Or you mean, continue to cut more apex during veg ? I'll launch bloom in approximate 24days

@Aldanil, @bobo420 Hi, hope you're fine, Thank you mates. It's always cheerful to read nice comments after all the works =) I have to admit that is weird to me to reach the end^^ I'm kinda use too have my little nugs in the room, kinda sad to chop them down : P But I think I'll not be sad anymore with beautiful nugs and smell from the jars : ) ++

Why are you worried about senescence at this point and time? There are studies that say cytokinin prevents that but I would be worried more about using up leftover phosphorus at this time. Those girls are looking amazing btw!!
PoisonIvy
PoisonIvycommented6 years ago
@Gluefreak, Hi thanks for your comments, could you please explain about phosphorus ? Do I made something wrong ? I flush soil and now only use water so i think the plant will be clean for harvest right ? Thx

PoisonIvycommented6 years ago
@bobo420, Thank you ! I think two plants with veg like i did is the absolut maximum for my grow space as it is very crowded there =) Since the last picture was taken I did my best to move the apex when necessary to have an even canopy =) Today I also removed some suckers inside the net, will update pictures soon

You have to back time the flush from harvest date. And as you are inexperienced, you’re doing your best to calculate that. Makes sense. But you were also advised that each pheno could vary. Sativas can go a really long time, and you don’t want to stop feeding her too early. Get a digital microscope for $40. You’ve spent a lot so far. You need this tool to protect your investment. When the trichomes appear two weeks from correct, flush. Best wishes!

Jodascommentedweek 166 years ago
I'm still new myself :) But make sure you grab a jewelers loop or a hand held microscope to keep an eye on trichomes, if you haven't already. Flush schedule sounds right to me about 2 weeks out. If they aren't ready at 75 days just keep up with water. This is the part were patience if a virtue and a curse lol
