Jef79 Hello and welcome to you all.. Hope you are all well and having a good day.. 😁👍
Finally got round to starting my Green House Seeds' Taste of America "Dark Phoenix" grow.. Really pleased i got the opportunity to try out their new strain and super excited about using their award winning plant feed!!.. 🤗You can see in 1st few pictures i only placed 1 seed into germination but i put another one in the day after(13th) for emergency measures.. Great to see that both sprouted and germination was a double success!!.. 😁👍
Huge thanks to you all for your support, comments, follows and likes.. Stay safe and best wishes for all your grows.. 😁👍🍀

Jef79 Hello and welcome to you all.. Hope you are well and all having a good week.. 😁👍
Great 1st week for my 2 "Dark Phoenix" seedlings from GHSC.. I've put both these girls under the Viparsepctra XS2000 and running @50% power(~120w).. I started out by making up the GHSC "Grow Powder Feeding" in 3 litres of plain tap water, using a combination of the "Keep it simple" & "Professional Grower" Feeding Schedules, which is anything between 0.25g per litre or 0.6g/L..i chose the lower end and opted for 0.3g/L.. My tap water is pretty hard and has a starting range of 200ppm.. I may need to purchase the Calcium(chelated) if i get any signs of deficiencies later on but might get away with it.. I poured about 1.5litres into each pot when coco/perlite was mixed and then planted seeds directly into substrate.. I upped the feed yesterday to 0.5g/L and removed the humidity bottles from both.. The main plan is to veg them both for around 7weeks and try to get them trained /established then place them into a 10wk flower schedule.. Fingers crossed as its my coco grow for a few years.. 😁👍
Huge thanks to you all for your support, comments, follows and likes.. Stay safe and best wishes for all your grows.. 😁👍🍀

Jef79 Hello and welcome to you all.. Hope you are all well and having a nice week so far.. 😁👍
Great week for my 2 "Dark Phoenix" babies from GHSC.. Had a few changes this week to try and fine tune environment.. Basically just lowered lighting and very slightly raised nutrition.. Both girls have grown exactly 0.5cm each!(i would usually place seedlings in @20hrs light but wanted to a) save electricity, b) give these girls a slower /natural start and not push them to fast) . Will keep an eye on them and check progress every day for any signs of stress/overfeeding.. Looks they just starting to pop their 3rd set of leaves out so im sure we'll be up and running in 2nd gear very soon!!.. Im planning to either scrog them or train/mainline them out into either 6 or 8 main colas on each and lollipop them, so lots of high stress training for them-when they're a bit older!.. Not lots of room in this tent but im happy to give it a try and see if it works out.. 🤞😁
Huge amount of thanks to you all for your support, comments, follows and likes.. Stay safe and best wishes for all your grows.. 😁👍🍀

Jef79 Hello and welcome to you all.. Hope you are all well and having a good week.. 😁👍
Great weeks growth for my 2 "Dark Phoenix" plants from GHSC under the Viparspectra XS2000 LED running @50% power.. Girls are looking happy and healthy!.. Side growth on both plants are now starting to push out a little and i wil be giving the girls a bit more "Grow Feeding Powder" at about 0.6g/L and watch her closely for few days.. Still unsure when I will start training both these girls but i will most likely top them this weekend.. 😁👍

Jef79 Hello and welcome to you all.. Hope you are all well and having a good week.. 😁👍
Exciting week for my 2 Dark Phoenix girls from GHSC, fed with their award winning powder feeding and powered by the Viparspectra XS2000.. Topped the girls this week, raised light and turned up the power to 75%.. Im going to continue to veg for another few weeks growth, then flip them to 12/12.. Just trying to focus on them getting taller and filling out now.. Girls look great in pics but look a little pale in reality so i will slightly bump the feeding upto 0.7g/L on their next watering and see keep an eye on them for few days.. 😁👍

Jef79 Hello and welcome to you all.. Hope you are well and had a good day.. 😁👍
Excellent week for my 2 "Dark Phoenix" from GHSC.. As this is the first coco grow I've done in a few years and I am growing a new strain(to myself) with new feeds im really pleased with how they are developing so far.. Think ive found the optimum levels of feed now for the moment but will keep an eye on them this week and increase/decrease if i notice any problems.. I'm also thinking the grow has gone a bit slow upto now as i wasn't watering enough(?).. Im starting to remember my old coco days though and watering more regularly now.. The plan is to keep her in vegetation until 1st September and bloom for 10 wks, hopefully giving me enough time to harvest and initially cure some buds for report in time for contest closing date!!.. Girls have doubled in size this week and i give them 1.5 litres each every 3-4 days.. 👍😁
Huge thanks to you all for your support, comments, follows and likes.. Stay safe and best wishes for all your grows..

Jef79 Hello and welcome to you all.. Hope you are all well and having a good day.. 😁👍
Great week for my 2 "Dark Phoenix" girls from GHSC under the Viparspectra XS2000.. Both girls are in 20litre fabric pots with coco/perlite mix.. Feeding these girls with the award winning plant feeding in powder form suitable for soil, coco and rockwool.. Ive noticed a tiny tip burn on some leaves so dropped the feed slightly this week.. I also placed 2x scrog nets for shaping the girls and give me more room for when the girls stretch during pre-flowering.. I flipped the timer to 12/12 and will start giving them both the "HYBRID" powder feed for 14days then start adding the "BOOSTER PK+" as shown in the GHSC product guide for hybrid strains in coco.. 😁👍
Huge thanks to u all for your support, comments, follows and likes.. Stay safe and best wishes for all your grows.. 😁👍🍀

Jef79 Hello and welcome to you all.. Hope you are all well and having a good day.. 😁👍
Great week for the 2 "Dark Phoenix" girls from GHSC under the Viparspectra XS2000.. I changed the feed this week to "Green House Feeding - Hybrids Powder" and both girls seem to be really enjoying it!.. Im keeping the pH level @5.7 and giving them 2 litres each of solution every 2-3 days.. This is their 1st week on 12/12 lighting and everything is going well.. I trimmed off a few lower branches from both plants that hadn't reached lower scrog support.. Keeping them in sync with the feeding program i will continue to give them the GHSC "Hybrid Powder" this week and start to give them the "Booster P/K+" after 2 weeks of flowering, as advised on page 20 in the GHSC product guide - coco feeding schedule.. Raised the light also as the plants shot up 20cm in their 1st week of pre-floweing.. 😁👍

Jef79 Hello and welcome to you all.. Hope you are well and had a good day.. 😁👍
Nice week for the 2 "Dark Phoenix" from GHSC under the Viparspectra XS2000.. Both girls have now started to receive the "Boost PK+" powder in addition to "Hybrids Powder".. Still following the dosages as stated in the GHSC product guide and will keep to these recommendations throughout the grow.. I gave both plants some High Stress Training these week and supercroped a few of the tallest branches.. I'll be snipping more small branches from around the lower areas again this week and try and concentrate most of her energy towards the top of the canopy.. I also raised the light again and running it around 75%.. I was a bit ill this week and i was late watering on one of the days, they wasn't limping over but they definitely needed a drink/feed.. Hoping this hasn't done any major damage to them and hopefully just slowed their growth down for a few days.. Will continue to update midweek as usual.. 😁👍

Jef79 Hello and welcome to you all.. Hope you are well and had a good day.. 😁👍
Great week for the 2 Dark Phoenix from GHSC.. Girls are starting to show more trichomes as the days go past.. Will be keeping the nutrition solution at 0.7g/L (Hybrid Powder Feeding) and 0.3g/L (Boost PK+ Powder Feeding).. Took more small branches from around the bottom of both plants.. Will be changing feed slightly next week as recommended in the GHSC product guide.. Viparspectra XS2000 is running at 75% and is 20-35cm away from top of plants.. Have been making 4L up every 2 days so far but have made up 5litres today and will continue with this volume and keep an eye on them for any major issues.. 😁👍

Excellent week for the 2 Dark Phoenix from GHSC.. Slight change on the nutrition and came down 0.1g/L on the "hybrids powder" and raised the "booster pk+" by 0.1g/L.. Both plants looking great and starting to continue to grow, the closest cola is 15cm away from the Viparspectra XS2000 and the rest of the flowers range from 20-25cm away from the light.. Also started giving them more volume of solution and girls are now getting 3L each every 2 days.. 😁👍

Jef79 Hello and welcome to you all.. Hope you are well and had a good day.. 😁👍
Great week for the 2 Dark Phoenix from GHSC.. Only 2 weeks left of this excellent powder feeding, a week of flush and we are ready for harvest.. Both plants look great but slightly different.. Plant 1 has some of the fattest calyx ive seen lately, plant 2 smells exactly the same but has a more Sativa look to her with longer flower sets.. Keeping her fed/watered every 2-3days still only giving each plant 3L of made solution (pH adjusted).. 😁👍

Jef79 Hello and welcome to you all.. Hope you are all well and enjoying your day.. 😁👍
Excellent week for the 2 Dark Phoenix from GHSC under the Viparspectra XS2000.. After re-checking the flowering times on this strain i noticed that GHSC recommend 56-70days so i decided to start flushing "Dark Phoenix - plant 1" as she has beautiful, sticky and swollen buds.. "Dark Phoenix - plant 2" will be given a final weeks feed as recommended in GHSC feeding chart and receive "Hybrids Powder Feeding" @0.4g/L and "Booster PK+ Additive Feeding Powder" @0.5g/L.. Will harvest plant 1 on 27th which will make her 9wks in bloom and plant 2 the week after letting her go the full 70day cycle.. Both girls smell amazing and have grown out lovely, really looking forward to sample "taste of the USA" very soon.. 😁👍

Jef79 Hello and welcome to you all.. Hope you are all well and having a good day.. 😁👍
Great week for the 2 Dark Phoenix from GHSC.. Using the Powder Feeding has really impressed me with the results.. U can see i have 2 different pheno, - plant 1 is a beautiful variety with huge dense foxtails that really look something special.. Ive had a quick look at most the Dark Phoenix grows on GD and i haven't seen 1 similar to this version so i feel very luck tbh.. Plant 2 is what seems to be the most common pheno and is growing some fat flowers but taking that extra week or 2.. I harvested plant 1 this week as she has been getting only pH adjusted water for thr last 7 days.. Plant 2 unfortunately had a small amount of bud root starting so i cut out the affected area and started the flush cycle with her.. Very stinky plants that almost burn ur eyes its that pungent 🤣.. Will be harvesting plant 2 after a couple of flushes and hang dry with rest of buds.. Decided to try reveg plant 1 as its been a while since I did this to any plant and just see how it goes.. Hopefully goin to set up a small 20L NFT tank asap and test run these nutrients in an active feeding grow system.. 😁👍

Plant #2 has been feed plain water for a week and is chopped down now and I'll dry trim her when she's ready in about 10-14days.. The sticky & smell from these girls looks vert promising so far and I can't wait to see what they like.. 😁👍

Great strain that turned out 2 nice phenotypes.. Both grew in veg without any problems.. Plant 1 bloomed out some huge foxtail buds that looked beautiful and nicely frosted with trichomes.. Plant 2 became the bigger version with slightly more Sativa look to her which i kept running for an extra week in bloom.. Both plants grew out in specified time schedule

Both plants grew out in specified time schedule.. Very pungent hazy, citrus smell in mid bloom that definitely need carbon filters to mask any unwanted odours leaking out.. Would of loved to give this strain a 10/10 and if the 2 phenos was mixed into 1 she would be a definite winner.. Very interested to plug some more of the seeds and see what other varieties can be found.. Overall both plants are a very nice smoke(kinda difficult as both have had different harvest days, but left them as long as possible to cure before deadline on contest).. I tryed both plants on different days so not to mix the flavours or high/buzz from them.. DP#1 grew some seriously nice looking flowers.. She has a lovely smooth smoke that's gives you an initial high from the Jack Herer then a nice mellow buzz from the Trainwreck ending up with very balanced effects.. DP#2 grew out flowers with more of a distinctive Sativa style, unfortunately a very small amount of bud rot took hold of this phenotype, but, she ended up yeilding the highest amount from the 2!.. DP#2 flowers have a much high terpene profile and has way more of a kick to her.. She is one stinky, sticky hybrid that really does do both strains full justice.. A really nice mix from them both and im very grateful from GHSC and more than happy with my outcome..

Way to grow👍..
Emily from viparspectra just sent me a xs 2000 to try
and told me to have fun and enjoy the light. I got 0 coupon
codes to give to people, no contract that I had to sign, just
the verbal agreement that Emily and I came up with over our chat
online. I think the handshake has been somehow left behind over
the years. Emily and I have a digital handshake, which is awesome👊,
something to be said about trusting people in this day and age, and I can't wait
to show what this light can do by growing strictly autos for awhile. Good luck with your
dark pheonix, Later!!!
@northernMike,- that's brilliant mate.. Hope u enjoy the Viparspectra led!! 😎👍.. Emily and 99.9% of the official reps on GD are really nice genuine people who are very helpful and friendly ive found.. Really hope u produce some super auto's and have fun running new gear!!.. Stay safe and best wishes buddy.. 😁👍🍀
@Jef79, yeah I have decided, I will keep them and see how they get on 👍🏾🌱💚 Good Luck with her Bro, hope we have good success! King's Juice doe...... Serious disappointment on the Bud quantity, smells amazing so I hope its an amazing smoke to make up for the lack of yield!
@Santica_Garden,-feeling your loss buddy.. Ive just messed up 2 grows bk to bk but fingers crossed we will have a great run with these strains!.. Hope the Juice tastes great and has a good kick on her.. Stay safe and best wishes mate.. 😁👍🍀
@Jef79, yeah we just have to make sure we stay on top of things and we should get a good harvest! My last harvest fucked up aswell, my dehumidifier broke down while buds was drying, managed to save 1 plant out of 4 😭😭😭😭. But shit happens, some things we can't control! 👍🏾
@GreenBuzzNutrients,-thank you very much!.. Lots of great entries so far and will be a very tough competition.. Appreciate your help and support as always.. Stay safe and best wishes for all @GreenBuzzNutrients.. 😁👍🍀
@Esoteric_growing,-thank you!.. I would usually start feminised plants in smaller pots but im just trying a few different options and see how things turn out.. Im to set up a new 1mx1mx2m tent soon and run a few photoperiod strains in pots so just testing the method before i setup.. Stay safe and best wishes for all your grows and big thanks for all your support.. 😁👍🍀
@Jef79, I wish you all the best brother.
I tend to find autos are best starting in final pot size but I find it easier not to over water photoperiod varieties starting in a smaller pot even when using a airy medium such as coco.
I will be following your diaries with interest as usual👍
@GreenBuzzNutrients,-very much appreciate your support.. Luckily I got 2 phenotypes and Its been a fun grow to do.. Stay safe, keep free and best wishes for all your grows.. 😁👍🍀
@Santica_Garden,-cheers buddy.. Topped them yesterday, guna try start training asap.. Will check out yours asap mate.. Stay safe and best wishes for all your grows.. 😁👍🍀
Good luck bro 👍🏾 not happy with mine, mainly bud quality, so leafy and I like to do a perfect trim job... Not a strain I will run again.... But the potency was there gotta say.
@Jef79, I hope you get better results than me! But yeah she definitely has a nice kick to her... But like I said, I just got unlucky with the Pheno 's which made me lose abit of motivation at the end! But not trying new strains for a while 😅. 👍🏾💚
@Santica_Garden,-cheers buddy.. Its a big risk we take running new strains but i hope u had fun with it all.. Definitely stick to strains u ran or got pals running that u know are solid to get yourself back on track, i had about 25oz of crap a couple months back and it cost me alot of time and effort for a poor quality smoke.. Ideally we need a separate grow area to run new varieties without the risk of losing out on our usual amounts, like a smaller side project.. Best of luck in contest mate.. Stay safe, keep free and best wishes for all your grows.. 😁👍🍀
@Jef79, 25oz of crap smoke....... OUCH! But like you said, it's the risk we take with new strains. For my next few grows I will be running strains that I know are guaranteed high & quality Budz..... Definitely taking that advice, gonna use 2 out of my 4 tents to try new strains. Best of Luck to you too mate 👍🏾💚
@MadeInGermany,-thank you very much!.. Look forward to tasting them both and harvested pheno #2 now aswell.. Just a day or 2 more for DP#1(she's been hanging a week) then I can jar her up for few days before I sample😍.. Thank you for your support buddy.. Stay safe and best wishes for all your grows.. 😁👍🍀
