JuanHaze_Arg Hello growers! I was really eager to grow this seed since I got it in my possession. It's a cross of varieties that my partner and I really enjoy with friends. I'm going to promise not to mess it up this time! 😂 Outlaw amnesia: Genetics: 20% Indica/80% Sativa Parents: Super Haze x Amnesia Flowering time: 11-12 weeks THC: 20% Yield (indoor): 450-500 gr/m² Height (indoor): 50 cm Substrate composition (Growmix - premium. Terrafertil) Composted Pine Bark. Medium and coarse Sphagnum moss peat. Perlite. pH corrector. Fertilizers. Wetting agent. Chemical characteristics Moisture: 50 - 55% pH: 5.10 – 6.00 EC: 0.20 - 0.60 mS/cm OM: 85-90% Ash: 10-15% C/N Ratio: 30-35 Nitrate: 200-400 ppm Phosphate: 50 – 100 ppm Potassium: 200 -300 ppm Physical characteristics Dry Substrate Density: 150-180 Kg/m3 Particle Density: 1600 Kg/m3 Total Porosity: 87-92% INDOOR data •60x60x110 •Lighting: DIY grow lamp with Osram Oslon Square 125w Whites 4500k + 3000k + 660nm + 730nm - Philips 150 dmm Driver •Intake: 1 cooler 8 CM 12v pointing from one side to the substrate. •Ventilation/air recirculation: 2 coolers 8 CM 12v •4" bathroom type extraction, plus DIY activated carbon filter •Dehumidifier 07/18 The seed is taken out of the fridge and left to acclimate for 12 hours at around 15 degrees. Then it is placed in a glass with water halfway and 5 drops of hydrogen peroxide to eliminate fungi on the seed for 12 hours, before moving to the tupper. 07/20 - 24 hours inside the tupper in the dark and it already has 2 mm of radicle peeking out! 07/21 I found the tupper with the napkin at the bottom dry. The radicle looked bad. I decided to spray it with water and transplant it to the substrate. The light is turned on for 24 hours to maintain a better temperature than what's outside. 07/22 it emerges from the soil slowly peeking out. A timer is set for 18/6 for light and extraction. 07/25 today is 7 days since I soaked it, it has evolved positively every day. The first two leaves are starting to show. The substrate is starting to be moistened with mycorrhizae and beneficial bacteria for root development. Made in Argentina 🇦🇷

JuanHaze_Arg This week is going badly, I accidentally deleted the entire week from the diary that I was updating almost daily. Well, to summarize a bit, in the middle of the week I turned off the intake and exhaust to raise the temperature and humidity since it was very cold (13 degrees). It wasn't a good idea; I found the plant fallen and with necrosis on the leaves. On 14/08 it seems to have powdery mildew, so I transplanted it to the final pot to give it more space for air circulation and applied bioprotect (horsetail extract) antifungal. I end the week, bad week. Since I transplanted it and applied antifungal, the necrosis seems to have moved to the side, the plant has stretched a bit, and new leaves are coming out. It has really slow growth, very slow, but it's still alive. I think in a few days this has to change…

Grow Questions
JuanHaze_Arg
JuanHaze_Argstarted grow question 5y ago
A few days ago, the first leaves showed areas with necrosis, and day by day it progressed. Could it be from the foliar spray? From the direct wind of the fan? Or is it a mildew fungus? One day the humidity reached 80-90%, growth is progressing but very slowly, the substrate seems to take a long time to dry out.

If your using soil in your mix then your ph is out. You have it set for hydroponics. Soil needs to be 6 to 7 ph... 6.5 would be best.. Cheers

JuanHaze_Arg Incredibly, we are already starting the 4th week. It's no longer droopy, it's a bit pale and has necrosis, but it's alive and growing. I lowered the light intensity to 60% since I thought that might be what's burning the plant. On 08/17, I watered with 1 liter of water with 0.5 ml of black gold (Grow) EC 0.5 PH 6.0 around the outside of the plant, about 10 cm out. In a few days, I'll do another foliar with bioprotect. On 08/18, the new leaves don't seem to have necrosis. The old necrosis hasn't progressed on the old leaves, but they are turning yellow from the tip inwards. On 08/19, I watered with 0.6L in a spray around the plant🌱 No doubt we are out of trouble. We just need to get the hang of the light intensity! Does anyone else use the 'photone' app on their smartphone to measure ppfd? On 08/22, I watered with 1L of water 💦 PH: 6 and EC 0.5 before the lights turn on for the last day of the week. JuanHaze_Arg On 08/24, it was watered with 1 liter of reverse osmosis water + 3 grams (1 teaspoon) of Amazonia roots. The secondary branches of the main stem are starting to sprout, and it’s beginning to smell nice 😋 On 08/26, it was watered with 1 liter of water 💦 with EC 0.4 and pH 6.1. Sorry for posting so many photos per diary, I love seeing it! On 08/28, bioprotect antifungal was sprayed as a preventive measure at 3ml per L, and an apical pruning was applied. I’m going to try to take a cutting from the tip. Made in Argentina 🇦🇷

JuanHaze_Arg So far, this has been the best week since I germinated the seed, I increased the light intensity to 85%. It has a strong green tone, it's about to get over-fertilized with nitrogen, I'm going to keep it on just water and follow the new sprouts! 09/01 watered with 3 liters of water (pH: 6. EC: 0.5) to lower the nitrogen in the soil a bit, there's no drainage. 09/04 watered with 1 liter of water (pH: 6 EC: 0.5) next watering big one. Made in Argentina 🇦🇷

JuanHaze_Arg 06/09 the last week of veg begins. As soon as the substrate dries, I apply big one to start flowering. There's already such a nice smell! 😋 08/09 big one is applied at 1.6ml in 1 liter of reverse osmosis water pH 6.2, the fans that recirculate the air are turned off, and the light intensity is lowered to 40% until the droplets on the leaves dry. 09/09 the light is raised again to 80%, cold and rainy days outside. Inside it's cold and high humidity. 12/09 last day of the week and last of the veggies. Day 48 *watered with 3 liters of water at pH: 6.2 EC: 0.4. Runoff measurements pH: 6.3 EC: 3.6, seems to have a high accumulation of EC. So the next waterings will be only with plenty of water and low electrical conductivity. Made in Argentina 🇦🇷

JuanHaze_Arg 09/13 49 days since I germinated. I started the first night of 12/12. She woke up nice and tall, stretching as if looking for the light that didn’t turn on after 6 hours of darkness. A bit pale but full of energy, next watering with black gold + molasses. 09/14 foliar spray with 100 ml of water + 0.3 ml of bioprotect antifungal 09/15 watered with 1 liter of water, base EC: 0.450 pH: 6.2 added trico+ (molasses) + 1 ml black gold. Final EC 0.65 I hope to correct that calcium deficiency that’s visible on the middle leaves 09/17 the new leaves look better but the old ones with necrosis started to turn a bit yellow 09/18 watered with 2 liters of water pH: 6.2 EC: 1300. tap water base EC: 1200 The first pistils started to show up Made in Argentina 🇦🇷

JuanHaze_Arg 09/20 the first pistils are starting to show. Lights at 100%, if it starts turning yellow at the top we already know what it could be. The soil is still moist. Next watering will be with Big One. 09/21 foliar application + substrate watering of 1L + 1.5ML of Big One from Top Crop 09/23 I saw it very droopy with a lot of nitrogen deficiency, I decided to apply a tea of crushed eggshells to add calcium + 2.5ml of black gold in 2 liters of water ph6.4 ec0.8. 09/26 watered with 1 L of water ec:0.5 ph:6.3 + 2ml of black gold, I don’t see it improving, it’s growing thousands of new leaves at the tips so I assumed it’s going to need nitrogen, next watering I’m going to do with 4 or 5 liters of water just with cal-mag.

JuanHaze_Arg 04/10 starts the 4th week, the week when the flowers begin to form, it seems that the watering with cal-mag + top bloom worked. 05/10 watered with 2 liters EC: 0.5 pH: 6.4 07/10 watered with 3 liters of water. Used reverse osmosis water + Cal mag to reach EC 0.4 and added 4.5 ml of Big One from top crop. Final EC 0.5 pH: 6.4 No drainage, seems to have been thirsty these days. 10/10 last day of the week. Watered with 5 liters of water to get drainage because I suspected that the pH was dropping again and once again I found the substrate pH at 5.8. I’m going to start watering with the pH at 6.8 or 7 until I correct that.

JuanHaze_Arg 13/10 Lots of beautiful trichomes and a rich smell! The soil pH went down to 5.5. I need to fix that. 14/10 Watering with 1 liter of water with a little bit of monster bloom + trico+. EC: 0.8 pH: 7.1 17/10 Watering with 3 liters of water, 2 liters of reverse osmosis water + 1 liter of tap water + 2ml of cal mag + 2ml of top bloom. pH 7 EC: 0.8 After returning from the expocannabis in Argentina, I found the plant more yellow than it was 3 days ago; surely it didn't like the lack of water, and I suspect that trico+ doesn't work well when mixed with another product. I won't use it in the next grow.

JuanHaze_Arg The light is coming closer to 30cm from the plant, approximately 600 ppfd measured with the Photone app. We are starting the last week of the halfway point. 6 weeks of 12. The amount of resin it has is fabulous, it needs about 7 more weeks. The yellowing seems to be because it lacks nutrients! On 20/10, before starting day 38 of flowering, following a colleague's recommendation, it was watered with 2 liters of osmosis water + 2ml cal-magic + 8ml of Black Gold, to stop the yellowing due to nitrogen deficiency in the plant. I hope that nitrogen boost helps it get a bit greener to make it through the 12 weeks of flowering. PH: 6.8 EC: 0.6 On 22/10, before starting day 40, it was watered with 3 liters of plain water, a mix of osmosis and tap water + cal mag. On 24/10, it was watered with 3 liters of water + 3ml cal-magic + 0.6 grams of Monster Bloom. PH: 6.4 EC: 0.7 the smell is sweet and strong, very nice!

JuanHaze_Arg It's really hot this week, 32 degrees every day inside the grow, humidity way too low at 30%, the plant is yellow, probably from the heat and lack of nitrogen. 26/10 day 43 watered with 5 liters of tap water at pH 6.5 and EC: 1.0 Runoff - drainage 2 liters pH 6.3 EC: 1.7 It's not over-fertilized, the plant is full of resin and it seems like the buds are starting to fatten up. 29/10 added a layer of compost to the substrate to provide nutrients to the leached soil. Watered with 3 liters of water pH 6.5 EC: 0.6

JuanHaze_Arg Root washing week, we start the final stage 10/11/2021, water with 6 liters of water and 9 ml of "Detox" from Namaste, to wash the roots. I'm going to try to do 4 waterings with plenty of water and detox, and the last week just osmosis water to completely clean the soil! There are some burnt tips, probably from the 32 degrees it was a few days ago or too much light because I haven't been fertilizing for about a week. It's fattening up nicely, the buds look beautiful, I can't wait to try it!

JuanHaze_Arg 71 days of flowering, I found a nanner in one of the buds, I removed it and checked each one of them and didn't find any more. These days it has been 32 degrees during the day and this clearly affected them. I harvested one of the buds that already had an orange color. In a few days, I'll harvest everything completely. Day 72 of flower, I see a lot of amber trichomes and many white ones. I don't want it to go to the couch, so I'm cutting.

Happy Harvest Day!

JuanHaze_Arg I love doing these follow-ups and always looking back to see if it's growing or not and how it's doing day by day. The outlaw started off poorly; I overwatered and over-humidified it because it was really cold and I wasn't heating the environment. The plant developed good, muscular stems, but it wasn't branching out. If I hadn't done an apical cut, the sides would have been weak. As for the rest of the plant, in terms of smell and taste, it's really a 10. To see all my other diaries https://growdiaries.com/grower/juanhaze-arg/diaries

Looks good...what LED do you use?
JuanHaze_Arg
JuanHaze_Arg commented5y ago
@HappyKid, thanks, all the lighting I use or used, I built myself. Until the beginning of this year, I was using a full-spectrum 50W LED COB and two 50W chicken coop-type LED lamps. I disassembled them and made them into a panel to distribute the light better. At the beginning of this year, I bought some pre-assembled LED plates from Osram (Oslon square) and I put them together with a Philips driver. A total consumption of 124W, using spectra 4500K, 3000K, 660nm, and 730nm. This new one promises more!

Hello there! Those Leds are powerful lights, They bleach the leaves if too intense but warm less the environment and so you need to water a lot less! add some heat if it is lower 18c and dim those led to 20%, seedlings needs less intense light or they will fry! PH could be a reason but I never PH my water in soil and never have this problem. So less light, less water, let her dry the soil top layer before watering No nutrients But if I was you I would start a new seed in case this one is too stunted. Remember dim those Leds to 20% when seedlings and increase as they grow stronger. A lot less water Humidity is a problem only when in flower Good luck fellow Gardener!

JuanHaze_Arg commented5y ago
@Eauderay, I think you're right! I lowered the light intensity a bit and stopped watering so often. (I'm not worried about increasing the humidity anymore) Right now the plant is stretching quickly and growing evenly without any burns! It seems like it was a combination of wrong things! Thanks for your advice!

JuanHaze_Arg commented5y ago
@Pr3m_85, thanks! in my case it's because of the cold! it grows slowly, but it grows! that's the most important thing haha Thanks, same to you!
