Two plants appear to be one phenotype while another appears to be a different phenotype. I am really looking forward to seeing how they develop differently!
I have one plant that is experiencing discoloration on the leaves and another plant that is really stretching but it seems to have stopped. What is your advice? I have my light reader picture in this week
Looks like a calcium deficiency starting in the one plant. The long leggy plant is just due to the light being too far away. Try not to get caught up in the meter readings and numbers and just react on what your plants show you. Add some nutrients and lower your light down. They’ll be fine! 🤙🏼
How can a seedling have calcium defficiency in soil? Kind of hard to believe, was this the case? Looks like vapor deficit issue compounded by too much light; according to your stats you're running VPD of 1.3 which is usually what you run during flower. Curious to know.
Cheers!
@CloudJ, how are you calculating VPD? I’m looking into this now as I haven’t considered it in the past. I also thought it was a light issue and it’s been much better since moving plants away. I did feed them their week 1 nutes earlier than I thought I’d need to and it helped boost growth and vigor. Out of town but will update the week on Sunday! Maybe you can take a look. I’d be happy to provide other environmental measurements if you think the VPD is an issue.
