I made some mistakes right away with this batch. Number one, I forgot to change my water and second I used the same soil as my last grow. I ordered 5 seeds and the first 2 did not make it. Too many nutrients in the water and probable just as much in the soil. I decided to start from scratch with everything. New water and new soil and the results were immediate. Lesson learned. The two plants I have coming up look healthy and have a nice purple/red color to them. Post a first week of vegetation progress in the coming days. I have one seed in the background waiting to see how this batch turns out so I can order more. Wish me luck!

First week, plants look green and healthy. Watering every other day. I'll start my vegetation nutrients this week. I am glad I was able to make it this far into week two given that my first two seeds did not make past week one.

Big progress this week. To my surprise, there is a faint smell to them. They are about 4 inches tall with big fan leaves. I am thinking about a growing technique to stick with. I used FIM during my last grow and a lot of defoliation. I want to start a LST or HST technique this time around. I wish I had a bigger tent!

Big growth between week two and three. I have been watering maybe every 2-3 days. Starting the plants in a smaller container is making a difference. I can see the that main stem is thickening faster than my first time around. Maybe it could be the strain but I want to believe it is the smaller container. I went ahead and FIMed the main stem this week. I am going to give it 2-3 weeks before I try to FIM the side branches. Next week I hope to transfers the plants to the container where they will be for the rest of the process.

I was able to transfer the plants to their new pots. The root structure looks amazing. I think vegetation week 4 transfer is the way to go. If I ever do these seeds again, I will like to give it one more week in the smaller container. I want to start defoliation but I FIMed the plants one week one so I want to give them some rest.

Both plants seem to be growing at the same rate but Red is not looking so good. Through some LST and defoliation, I am trying to see if I can make it grow better. Blue is a very good looking plant but Red is falling behind. I am keeping a good on it. I went ahead and cut all branches at the bottom that did not look like were getting enough light. This is my first attempt at LST.

Red and Blue seem to be growing great. Blue is definitely out pacing Red. I had to top Red because I want to keep both plants around the same height. I did some major defoliation. I hope to go into flowering in the next week or so. I do not have a lot of confident on Red but Blue will certainly make up for it.

Last week of vegetation. I wanted to start the flowering stage this week but RED is not really catching up to BLUE. I cannot really point out why RED started to fall behind. Both plants have been under the same environment from the beginning. For this reason, I am giving it another week. I have increased the watering and will switch nutrients for the flowering stage. The smell is insane on the plants. If you plant to grow these indoors, figure out how to control the smell.

Let's get the flowering stage started! Plants are looking really strong. I am going to move up to a 1 liter a day for water. The light schedule has been changed from 18 hours to 12 hours. The smell of these plants is insane. Two small plants and the whole floor is smelling green. The plants are also looking very different. From size to color and everything else, they are just different.

First week of flowering is coming up to a good start. Nutrient changed to tiger bloom for the rest of the flowering stage. The "Red" plant still lags behind but it looks like it made a big come back this week. "Blue" continues to dominate the tent. I expect for Blue to produce significant more buds than Red but only time will tell. Approximately seven weeks to go!

It is a way different process between autoflowering and feminized seeds. It seems to be taking forever for the flowers to start to grow. My expectation is that this slow and steady process produces a better yield or a better quality flower. The Red plants is all over the place. I have pop up buds growing all over the plant. All the stems are not going straight. It's an ugly plant but I plant to keep it until the end. 6-7 weeks to go!

Week 12, got about five more weeks to go. flowers are really starting to plump up. The smell of these plants is insane. I have been water once a day and it seems like they are taking all the water. Regular maintenance included defoliation and aerating the dirt. See you in a few days.

Both plants are looking perfect going into week 13. I continue to remove all "pop corn" developments at the bottom of the plant. I did some minor maintenance removing leaves that were covering buds and aerating the soil. 4-5 more weeks to go but I am concerned as temperatures are starting to drop. I hope I get to harvest before any major cold weather events.

Both plants are looking great. The current flowers are about the size of my palm. Definitely bigger than my first grow. The smell is amazing now. The plants are very sticky and the trichomes are starting to amber up. Approximately 3-4 weeks to go.

Week 15, 2-3 weeks to go! The buds are so heavy I had to add a stick to hold the plant straight. One of the plants smells citrusy and the other is very strong. They are both starting to brown. We are almost there!

I am hoping 1-2 weeks to go. Trichomes are almost all brown. Leaves are starting to fall out. I have been keeping up with the watering but the temperatures keep dropping. I hope to harvest before it gets too cold and call it a season until the spring.

This was a very long growth. I did not think I was going to be able to harvest before the weather got really cold. I was expecting better buds but they size I got is acceptable. I had one of my friends try it and according to him, they taste is great. I am hoping to start another grow in the spring but this time a hydroponic grow. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. See you next season!
