Week 1. Seeds germinated in dechlorinated tap water PH’d to 6.5. Stayed in cup for 2 days until tap root appeared.
Then straight into the promix HP in 5 gal fabric pots mixed with Gaia Green Organics.
Today they have cracked the surface and shedded their helmet lol so far so good!!
Seeds popped! Have 3 Runtz Autos and one Wedding Cake Auto in this 4 by 4. Growing well and look happy. Just hand watering at 6.5 ph and keeping the lights a lil further away at the moment and running minimal power. Once I see a bit more growth I will crank things up and lower the lights. The heat wave here doesn’t help trying to keep temps down as my tent is in a garage. Lots of fans help and the AC infinity fans are awesome.
Heatwave this week is really tough to keep temps down in my garage without an AC. Plants still seem happy and growing well. Can’t wait to see what they turn into. Excited for the genetics this time from Barney’s. Growing some new school strains this round is exciting. Last run I had Crop King genetics… 3 candy cane and 1 Early Miss. all turned out great. Just not quiet the terp profile I prefer. Yields were huge. Not much to report really this week. Just keeping fans cranked fighting the heatwave and watering as needed, letting the Gaia Green do its thing. Also added Grotec Myc to the soil my last watering. Just too dressed and mixed in in then watered with water ph to 6.
The outdoor temps have been the toughest part of the weeks. This heatwave can end anytime! Lol have kept my Mars tsw2000 powered down to help and all my fans cranked.
Other than that the 4 girls in my tent are growing up strong and healthy. The Gaia Green mixed into the Promix HP at a ratio of 4tbsp per 1 gallon of media seems to be working great so far. Really dark green growth. Super easy way to grow when you work full time and have as many kids as I do. Fabric pots help increase the dry down and the plants really like it. Just water when dry. Hardest part of growing like this is WAITING!!!
Update….
Woke up this am to check on my girls and was really surprised to see how much they grew! Letting them dry out a bit more between waterings and they really liked it.
Exploded quick and flowering even quicker. Loving the purple coming out of the one Runtz plant already. Hoping for some exotic tasting buds this time. Excited to see how the Barney’s genetics finish up. So far I’m very impressed with them. Thinking a mid October harvest. Too much stress going on at home to keep updated sorry.
Falling in love with the Runtz auto. The colour is insane on one pheno. The smell on them is unreal mouthwatering candy. I think I lucked out with these seeds I got from Barney’s farm because they have been top notch so far. By far the best looking plants I’ve grown.
The most impressive smell and bag appeal I’ve seen in a while. And I grew it! Highly recommend. Starts off cerebral and fun then relaxes you for a show with the wifey lol
