Hello and welcome to my first grow diary!
I started germination of my Wedding Cake promo seed from Barney's Farm that I got as a gift with my order of Ayahuasca Purple and Memosa EVO seeds. These I will do some other time since I already have other plants in my tent. Germination went well and after 36h I planted the seed in the ground to let the seedling sprout from the soil. I covered the seed with soil but as you can hopefully see in the pictures the baby is already breaking the surface of the soil.
It's my first attempt at this strain and my overall experience level is novice but I'm confident that with the information I gathered and hopefully, will also get from you guys during this grow that it will be a success in the end.
I'm going to use the manifold technique or main-lining to create 8 or 16 cola's and this is also the first time for me to use this technique so fingers crossed.
Any suggestions, tips, or even criticism are welcome here as long as it's in a respectful manner.
I'm excited to let this baby grow so let's enjoy this grow together peeps!

I was just wondering if any of you have an idea how to organically get denser buds?
I'm planning to let the other ladies in my tent flower but last time there were a lot of small popcorn buds and fluffy bigger buds (due to pruning experience I think)

These are my "secret ingredients" that I can never contemplate growing without any of them.

Hello buddies!
The baby moved into the toddler phase and the second set of leaves are well on their way.
Yesterday I made a mistake by not watering her while the soil was dried out so I could water her today with some bactrex from BioTabs. I did this to introduce trichoderma to the root system but the baby was leaning over a bit to much this morning (11th of August) so I needed to correct her stance and now she's standing back up just fine. Stay tuned for more pictures during the week.

So the new week started and I came right to the point and started main-lining this young lady.
I must say that I felt anxious abusing the girl but at the same time I'm excited to see how she will react to the stress.

I think I overdid it with the nitrogen and the lady stunted a little. I couldn't figure out why she slowed down until I saw her cupping and her big fan leaves started to darken.
So this week I will be flushing her a bit, pan down on the Biocanna: Bio Vega and let just the amendments in the soil do their thing.
This is the reason why I'm in the "garden" every day. Not only to observe but also trying to figure out what particular needs a strain has. For instance my Mimosa EVO and Ayahuasca Purple seem to be doing fine on the same regime. Just to be sure I will hold back on the extra feed with them as well.
All in all I'm very pleased with how my ladies are progressing and I will keep you all updated with pic's as the week comes along.

I haven't forgotten about the diary, I just couldn't find the time to keep y'all as updated as I would like and then my phone broke but I'm back!
I had a little pest trouble in the tent which resolved itself and only affected this bad baby but she bounced back nicely and is almost ready for her final topping (for 8 mains).

Update 9/19/21:
I noticed that both new intersections on one side have ripped a little due to my clumsiness (no doubt). So I found some painters tape and fixed that so I can lst them to the side to get an even weight distribution when it comes time to flower.

Did the final topping so from now on it will only be a little LST for this lady🙏🏽

I've been dealing with a fungus gnat infestation and today I'm going to set out nematodes to deal with the larvae. I think it's starting to stunt the lady as well as other plants in the tent.
So when I get home from work I will make a video, following Instructions since it's my first time setting out these critters. Hopefully in a week or 2 the gnat population visibly diminished and the girls can get back on track so I can switch to flower.
I also bought Rogis root protector to prevent any future gnat infestation but will add that to the soil when the "eels" had their fill just to get the most out of them.
The nematodes I'm using are: Steinernema Carpocapsae which are advised because they work best with the temperature in the tent (between 12 - 30 Celsius).

After a few turbulent weeks with going to court to get some sort of arrangement to see my son, and a gnat infestation which almost destroyed half my plants, we are back on track.
The lady is doing just fine now and I added some rogis root protector as a precaution today. It was not worth making pictures because the infestation stunted the girl. But she is back on track in week 11 and I'm happy as well. Let's continue the journey and hope everything will go smooth from here on out.
2 weeks until flower so let's go!!

The lady is stretching well and is a happy girl. For this final week of pre-flower I upped the nutes because she was very hungry and was showing slight signs of deficiencies. This week I will put a little bit of dolomite lime in the soil to have cal/mag covered for her.
I'm excited to see the first pistils form so stay tuned for that.

I also started to add BioBOOST from Biocanna to see if it will help the lady grow bigger buds, we will see the coming weeks what it will do.

It's mid week 17 and she is packing on some nice crystals. The scent coming off of her is very sweet and diesel-ish. She is coming along just great
BioBOOST from Biocanna is working like charm, I'm really seeing some good bud production since I added it and the crystal density has also improved a lot.
Let see what the coming weeks will bring.

This is the ending of week 7 of flower and the last week she started showing purple accents. She looks so pretty now and the smell is awesome, not really strong thought.
I stopped the giving bio flores and let the plant go on just bioboost for the last 2 weeks. Last week I will flush with just water.

This is how the lady look like at the end of week 8 of flower and I must say that I'm stunned by her beauty. The purple really came out last week.
This week I'm flushing her soil and checking on the trichomes to see when she will be ready. I think another week or so.

Hi there buds and budettes,
Today was the day that I harvested the lady after 2 weeks of flushing. She looked so pretty, I'm really going to miss her. The purple in the plant is so beautiful, just stunning!
I will be updating after her drying period which I hope will be a week or so but her smell is otherworldly, with hints of fruits, but also a little diesel tones. Just an awesome aroma.
