I stunted growth this week by overfeeding. :/

Strong growth this week, this was the week I discovered PM and mites. Treated with Wipeout and another foliar treatment for PM.

First grow, first diary. Got 3 Blackwater clones in mid-April, and started 4 bag seed 4 bagseed in 2x4x5ft tent with HLG 260W XL LED, in 3 gallon smartpots. 3 Blackwater in 2x4x6 tent with HLG 320W LED, in 7 gallon smartpots. Bagseed had wind damage on some plants, and are not yet showing sex. One of the Blackwater clones I bought had spider mites in early May, and I treated with Wipeout. I let the inline fan turn off for a few days during dark period in veg. That introduced powdery mildew on one leaf on the same Blackwater plant. Removed the leaf and treated the whole garden to a spray from local shop. After discontinuing mite/PM sprays. Started spraying with Heavy 16 foliar, and using Heavy 16 lineup all throughout veg, and in to flower. Everything is planted in Roots Organic soil. I have had struggles delivering the right levels of nutrients, and have heavily diluted the solutions as a result, and often feeding plain water. Some leaves have shown nutes burn on the Blackwater plants. On top of that, I have over watered plants at times, and they have appeared droopy. Overall I find it a bit difficult to get right, there is definitely a huge learning curve.

I am heavily diluting the nutrients, feeding only about 1/8th strength. The plants seem to be responding better. In addition, I tried Heavy 16 foliar spray on the fan leaves a few days ago. I need to continue to trim the leaves around the lower part of the plants. Not much stretch happening. The bagseed have super heart stems developing, and I hope to see the sex of them show soon.

Better and bigger everyday! I have finally overcome my problems with nute burn. I create 1 gallon of the solution w/ no dilution, running full strength nutes, and this solution is lasting 1 week+ now. Then daily, fill 1 gallon with purified city water, with 1ml of Heavy 16 Roots for PH balance. Since I topped the 4 bagseed plants multiple times very early in veg growth, they are extremely short and bushy. But the flowering stretch seems to definitely be happening. Plus they have a ton of budsites being created. Still waiting to see what sex the 4 bagseed are. I have multiple close-up pictures of the 4 bagseed photos if anyone can see any signs of the sex? No PM or mites I can observe. Sprayed for them in week 5. Every day I am defoliating the lower branches of the plant as it becomes more obvious what isn't getting light. No smell. Bagseed were started from seed, germinated using paper towel method, and pretty neglected with light up until week 4. Also they spent too long in small containers before being transplanted. Unidentified genetics/sex. Clones were bought anywhere from 9 inches to 13 inches tall. But the clones have just really taken off in their larger pots. The Blackwater plant in the middle is the smallest clone of the three I received, and it was also filled with less dirt than the other 2, which are obviously taller an bushier. Anyone see anything else I should be doing?

This week is exciting. Things are starting to smell like marijuana in the grow tent. Pistils are everywhere, especially on the 3 Blackwater clones. The 4 bagseed that are growing are not showing any pollen sacs that I can identify. If you can see any males, let me know in the comments! Increasing the strength of my heavily diluted Heavy 16 solution I am using. Making 1 gallon of the solution as per Heavy 16 guidelines, and using 15-25% Heavy 16 mix + 75-85% H2O, with the H2O having 1MG of Roots by Heavy 16 in it. I think that using Roots in my pure-H2O is helping my plants deal with hard water.

Hello! Led distance seems alright. I think you have some thrips infestation on some of your plants, look out for stains showing up on the surface of the leaves, with a slight silvery sheen and some leaves appears brittle by the loss of chlorophyll and are dry, check pic 7/8 on the last plant is more obvious. It is difficult to spot them at first, but the damage they do is typical. I would fumigate room and spray plants with neem and leave the topsoil dry well in between watering and removing leaves who are too damaged as thrips lay their eggs inside leaves. Act quickly and plants will perk up... I had same problem and plants looked the same, they came back to full health! Good luck

@Eauderay, I think the spotting that looks like fert or bug infestation is from water left on the leaves and burning under the lights. The sheen on the plants I think is from Heavy 16 foliar spray. I started using H16 Foliar on the 4 bagseed after I thought I had wiped out PM/Mites. I had prior only had 1 tent, was watering them when the light was running, and would drip on the four bagseed plants. Now that I have two tents, I don't drip on the bagseed plants anymore. The leaf on the left plant in pic 7 definitely looks like PM on it after I looked closer. I increased my exhaust fan speed from medium-low to high. Trimmed fan leaves on the 4 bagseed plants today, and sprayed all 7 for PM/Mites again.

Ok so your light cycle is 12/12, but I think you should revert to veg until plants are free from thrips and new leaves are growing, because those damaged leaves will die and that will reduce your harvest...So sorry to say that!

@Eauderay, I would like to veg the bagseed longer, but I have to flower due to timeline restraints. In the last day, the 3 Blackwater plants have started to stretch quite a bit. One thing I underestimated was how much trimming would be needed at the lower parts of the plant. I think I need a 2nd oscillating fan at the bottom of the Blackwater tent to keep air moving below the canopy.

Hello! How far is your led from plants? They look stressed and some tips burn, I would change to CFL for a while and continue feeding with light feed, especially a seaweed feed and maybe even change pot if plants not perking up just to have a look at the roots, sometimes soil is not good and I had to change it...Fan on low and spray plants with light Epsom salt mixed with filtered water at night. GOOD LUCK!

@Eauderay, In the photos I uploaded previously, about 2.5ft away. In a new tent, I have maybe 3.5ft of room. I uploaded more recent photos today, and they show much healthier looking plants.
