Started off in Rapid Rooters, I didn't have a spare bucket so this girl actually started life in a Hydroflask. I didn't see a way to change the food but I normally go for 100-300 during the first week or so.
I feel like this is where things start to get exciting in veg, no real training yet, but it's coming. These girls look happy and healthy. Jack's Nutrients really shines in hydro.
On my next grow I'm going to try and do the journal as I'm growing instead of playing catch up. Things are going well. Tying down branches and watching the growth explode on my veyr first Photoperiod plant.
Things were going great here, but I was on a deadline for my next book and let my training and the training start to get away from me. I didn't appreciate how big the stretch was compared to autoflowers. I had a third plant I actually toss out because it was just too big for my tent. The stretch is real, and when you have a shorty tent you better pay attention to LST or you run out of room.
This was probably when I started to realize I should have done a lot more training. I didn't and we are where we are, but the plants look healthy as all get out. For my second grow and my first photoperiods, I couldn't be happier. Somewhere soon I axe the third plant, it was that or dedicate my entire 2x4 to it.
During one of the early weeks, I did four days of Jack's Bloom food. I don't know if it's needed but I have it so I used it. Next res swap I went right back to the standard RO food.
I really slacked on this grow and it shows in the mismatched canopy. Sometimes work takes over and I have to fit stuff in where I can. The plants are still looking rock solid. Summer is chugging by in Arizona, it's hot out there, after the warmest June on Record.
I love it when they started to flower. Buds are the coolest thing ever. Still just feeding Jack's RO food, and Hydroguard, no other supplements. It's coming along.
I mixed a little of the finish food in this week, and then I'll go straight finish for the next little bit. It's getting so close now I'm super excited. TWO MORE WEEKS??? Seriously I'm just hoping it wraps up by my birthday at the end of the month. We're all caught up with live now, so we'll get to follow the last few weeks togther in real time. :-)
Hope everyone is having an amazing grow season, from me and mine Happy Growing!!!
We're in the home stretch now, I'm hoping she'll be done by the end of the month. Started using the finish food exclusively now, we'll see if the extra Phosphoros really helps them bulks up. Jack's has never let me down, I'm excited to this one finish. Easily my largest plant ever. I let the training get away from me this time, and I'm going to have to tie up one of the main cola's because she's leaning hard. Haha that's never happened to me before, leaning tower of buds.
RQS Wedding Gellato getting the job done. She's putting on weight and really starting to frost out. Can't wait for this girl to be done. Less than a week left I think.
Did the Chop last night, haven't weighted anything yet. I'll update when I start pulling stuff down. This was a long grow, but the yield and the quality looked worth it. Can't wait to enjoy that vanilla gas. This Wedding Gelato just smells amazing.
This strain was awesome for my first photoperiod grow. It got way bigger than I thought during the stretch. Next time I'll do more training early and flip sooner. Not going to lie, I'm excited about the size of the harvest from a single plant. The buds are dense, it's going to be epic.
@Ferenc, I'm really excited to see this one. My first grow ever was Hulkberry Autos, and they were amazing. These are my first photoperiod seeds. Haha they stretched a lot more than I thought they would. Each grow is a chance to learn, and get better. :-)
@DevilsBud, I had to toss out the one Monster plant, but these two are just about perfect. The big one probably only has ten inches from the light, I'm only running it at 85% ish to keep the heat down. Good luck finishing the grow :-)
