As I’m still learning and reviewing countless diaries I’ve decided to lower my light from 30 to 16 inches and switch back to a 18/6 schedule. I’m also going to slightly over feed keeping a close eye for any adverse effects.
The plants have been putting leafs out everywhere and others are getting bigger to the point it’s covered bud sites. I decided to defoliate her some more and focus on inward growth and shade leafs before tying the plants down even more. I’ve added a raised platform for the strawberry banana for an even canopy across the room.
I’m also keeping a little grow in the mix because the Bruce Banner started looking like it was still craving the nitrogen.
I’m a little bummed out because I thought these genetics would really stretch. Is it something I’m doing early on to keep them short like to much light early on or being to aggressive with my LST. Should I let the plant do its own thing
The problem is the recovery time from low-stress training. Even if the plant looks recovered, it is not until there is a full canopy and another defoliation is needed. Overall your plants should do fine. I would recommend feeding wood ash once to help with the growth spurt (few tablespoons in water per plant).
Happy growing! I hope you get some good results! Take care and stay lit! I will drop by sometimes to check on your process! Say hello if you ever visit my page!
