Two seeds cracked and decent root after about 2 days so we are in business people! Two wedding cake seeds going in my first grow for about 3 years so wish me luck friends!
Here we go then sports fans! They've gone from seeds to seedlings in a matter of days so these girls are keen to get into it!
Somehow managed to keep very good temps and humidity in the tent and haven't had to make any adjustments.
Early days but loving it so far so glad I've picked up my old hobby again!
Not a bad week, plants are both a bit leggy so I've upped the light situation.
I definetly should've bought a more up market light but we live and learn so I may be reinvesting soon.
These girls were bone dry so they look a tad sad they've been fully watered now PH at around 6.4.
I've got a few fans trying to strengthen the stems.

I've repotted to 5 gallon pots that they will be in forever and they've seemed to jump straight back into life.
I left to go to a festival for a week so I watered deep and I've come back to some monster growth! They looked a bit weak to begin with but with a little burst of nutrients they're loving it!
I'll start bending them soon enough when I get some spare time.
I also introduced a little neem water into the water just as a preventative measure for pests.
I also realised my tent is running at 30 degrees Celsius during the day so I'm looking at better fans and circulation currently.
All in all pretty happy so far
Still pretty cruisy nothing really to report except I've started properly tying both of the girls down.
See pistils starting to form so it looks like we are getting on the way.
Good growth this week, must be on their stretch faze because every time I tie them down by morning they've bounced back an inch or so!
The smell is definitely getting stronger already.
I've had high heat all week but the weather is supposed to be cooling down now so fingers crossed we won't reach 32 degrees again
All in all still very happy
My question is when do I stop tying my girls down and just let them grow? You can see from my photos that I've got quite a good spread now, should I just let them do their thing or carry on tying? Thanks in advance
These girls are starting to get quite droopy during the evenings which is a bit scary but they perk up after an hour or so.
Still feeding every watering as they're showing no signs of not enjoying it.
Tent is still 29/30 degrees sometimes which isn't ideal but the plants are coping so that the important thing I suppose
Still loving it though! Can't wait to see some fatty buds forming

Hopefully some of you professionals out there can help out this noobie.
Got some brown marks on my leaves that have cropped up in the last 3 days I've read they could be a possible deficiency? Can't write enough words in here for info
No ones responded so yet so my 2 cents is calcium and or magnesium deficiency. Could be caused by too much residual salts in the medium, pH fluctuations, or just lack of the mag and or calcium.
If they popped up that quick - personally I’m flushing that medium with pHd water at about 6 pH - run at least 2-3x the amount as the pot is. So if you’re in 2 gallon pots - run at least 4 gallons thru it. Check run off EC or PPM to see if it was indeed accumulating salt build up.
Then add supplemental cal and mag to your feeds..
It’s a often good practice to flush your medium around transition to flower anyhow to push out residual veg nute salts out so they don’t cause issues with feeds in flower. Good luck
So these pictures were pre flush that I was instructed to do, as it seems one of the girls had a calmag deficiency.
I flushed each with around 5 gallons of water each over an hour or so. Run off was very dark yellow but ec was 0.8 and ph was running around 6.2 so last run through I dosed a bit of calmag
Nothing else to report still loving life 🤙
Still got some issues that I'm pretty sure started as a ph issue that I'm kind of on top of now. They are very difficult to work out sometimes.
I was feeding every water now I'm going for a water water feed cycle and they seem a bit happier.

I think I'm getting close now! Got a microscope on order that'll be here Saturday so then I'll see. Not as smooth as I'd hoped really seemed to have an issue I couldnt resolve no matter what I tried. But she is stanky and looking good enough to eat so I can't complain
We are still going here people! I've messed up my feeding routines these last couple weeks (basically haven't fed either for two weeks) so she is going crispy and not enjoying life too much but I'm going to chop in a week and start the next go. Still very much enjoying the process 🤘
Looks quite frosty... cloudy.. I'd say you are at or near beginning of harvest window based solely on these pictures (i.e. inadequate info, not criticism.. you will always have more info at your fingertips that what you can display here).
Multiple locales should be scoped to determine how ripe it is. If that is all from the top colas, you may have more time to go. Top colas ripen first... soething in direct and intense light is more likely to show earlier degradation of THCa (this is what happens when you see amber.. degradated molecule has a new color, because at least some of that thca is no longer thca and will impact your brain differently too... breaks into cba? i forget exactly, but it's a less psychoactive molecule with propensity for making ppl sleepy than decarboxylated THCa).
What kind of buzz do you like? Different folks, different strokes... so, it's hard to say "now is the time".
I'd read a bit on what 10% amber vs 60+% amber is... more amber = more couchlock. But, reading many varied opinions will put it in right perspective... In the end, you will still have a bit of trial and error to figure out what you prefer. Don't rely on that googled info. Try it for yourself at both ends and middle... anywhere else your heart desires.
I am not a fan of couchlock or something i fall asleep the moment after the buzz ebbs a tiny bit.
If you get a little paranoid from pot, or potentially so, you probably want a later harvest-window date, i'd guess. Maybe, you want a batch specifically for bedtime? Then, a late window harvest might also be a good idea.
So much of this is personal opinion... so read up... get a ballpark idea of it... then you'll only become more confident after you've done it a few times. It's a bit worrisome at first.
I wasn't expecting too much from these seeds as I have had them in my cupboard for nearly two years but they've definitely done me proud!
I'm still waiting for the ole girls to dry, probably two weeks by the looks of it and I'll update with the dry weight.
Can't wait to get started on the new one!
