Germ day 1: I started 7 Fast Buds seeds today. Dropped them directly in pure sunshine #4 mix with a pinch of mychorrizae around the seed. Gave them a thorough spray of Voodoo Juice and 6.5 ph water. I had great success with the last round of Fast Buds I ran and have seen some great here on GD. I can’t see why this would be any different.

There’s a couple pics of a just for fun outdoor Fast Buds Amnesia Haze. It was made from an Amnesia Haze plant I grew past summer and was pollinated by agricultural Hemp. This one is pollinated as well, but a big beast nonetheless. Shows how big these Fast Buds plants can get. 👍🏻👍🏻
Aug 18: Bubblegum, skunk and Russian broke ground, should be standing tall today.
Aug 20: 100% success in germination.
Week 1: All the seeds popped within 4-5 days. Everything is looking good and they are all happy. I moved them into the 2x4 tent with a Mars 300 led. I’ve sprayed daily with plain water with a couple drops of voodoo juice. They are all starting on their first set of leaves. Nothing much going on at this moment.

Week 1 Veg: I did the first light feed yesterday. I have been misting with cal water a couple times a day.
I rearranged my room to fit a 2x4 tent so they had to go into the 4x4 while I got the other set back up. They are back in the 2x4 now. I had the SF4000 set to 45% and 40+ inches above the canopy and I think it may have been a bit too much and temps a bit low for their and my liking. They’re growing quickly. I’m excited to get going.
I may pop a couple more seeds if I can get my mothers cloned and in the 2x4 to free up a 4x4. I’m gonna have to start planning better now that I have a 3 tent rotation.
Regardless, I like popping seeds and veg training etc. so I’m liking the options I have now. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Day 18: They are all looking good. I did a full strength feed at 350 ppm. They got moved into the 4x4 under the sf4000 at 50%. They are between 4 & 5 nodes. I’m going to have to come up with a plan depending on plant structure. I cleared out the other 4x4 with 2 vivosun 600s as overflow if need be. Theres a short squat one and tall slender one and everything in between.
Im having trouble dialing in the temps but they’re looking happy so……
Just letting them grow, may do minor training or maybe major haha idk.

Day 22: moved them to the flower tent, topped, SF4000 at 50% approx 40” above canopy.
Day 21: The plants are flying along, they’ve had a bit more stretch than I’d like but I’m dialing in the height and intensity of the light. I have seen 1 or 2 preflowers so I’m getting ready to start flowering. I moved the light to the top of the tent, tried 80% which was a bit high and settled on 70%. The blackberry literally just fell over last night while I was watering so we’ll see if there’s any long term issues that stem from that. I supported it with a bamboo stake and am planning on using a trellis net later.

Day 29 fm seed/Week 1 flower: I did some LST/HST to the plants to try to even out the canopy. The light is set to 80% and is creating some good growing conditions. Flower has started and most of the plants are showing little bud clusters and pistils. They are starting to smell already, just mild skunkiness. I say this every time, but there are some super short plants like the skunk and tall lanksters like the Blackberry. There is some stacking on some and mega stretch on others, such is the case when you grow 7 different genetics. It’s all good tho, we’ll train them up. Did some leaf tucking and removed a couple beastly light and site blocking fans. Other than that we’re just gonna watch and see how this plays out. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Week 2: Sorry for the delay. I was out at the lake and totally forgot. I was just doing some LST and put in the trellis net to open them up. They’re just growing up and getting pushed down. Feeding with the Remo doing FFW. Having a bit of trouble dialing in my temps with the changing weather. Other than that just watching them flower.
Week 3: This week I’ve noticed at leaf condition. I’ve doubled the cal mag and upped the ph to 6.2 and added some extra bloom booster if it’s a pk issue. There are some wide variation in flowering date. The skunk hasn’t even started so this could be interesting.
Does anybody know what is up with that leaf??
Other than that they are starting to smell pretty nice and and the blackberry is starting to turn purple. Just watching.

Hi. I seem to be having a leaf condition and can’t seem to figure it out. The leaf is still soft, not dry and crunchy, just looks like it has faded, just way too early. Checked PH pen, upped PH, upped cal mag & PK. I could really use your help before they’re shot. Thanks.
Thanks all. I appreciate you taking the time to answer. I think we’re all on the same page. I checked my cal mag today and it seems to have precipitated or something. There is floaty bits in it. Idk if that’s 100% of the problem but I’m sure it’s not helping.
Looks like nutrient lockout from having a buildup in your medium. Its showing signs of magnesium and nitrogen def. if you have an ec/ppm pen then you could test your runoff to verify this. To fix your issue do a ph water flush to rinse out the salt buildup. Then continue feeding as normal or slightly less.
Week 4: Well it seems I didn’t do an entry least week. Things seem to be doing better. I contacted future harvest after finding some weird sedimentation in my cal mag. They express shipped a new bottle and sent a long some extras, a shirt, hat and a couple stickers. I’m very pleased with their customer service and products. I upped the cal mag, N and PH and things seems better. Less yellow, more growth and smell. Just removing a couple leaves here and there. The skunk is just starting to flower so that could be an interesting curveball to deal with but we’ll head down that road when it comes. Other than that just letting them flower.

Week 11: Hi growers, I’ve been out of town for a while and my wife did a killer job finishing up these FastBuds autos. I walked in the door and knew they were ready. The carbon filter couldn’t keep up, there was a beautiful stink in every room. 😕The Buds are big and hard, they’re all falling over from weight. I actually feel kinda bad that this wasn’t documented better. I do have some progress pics she took that I’ll upload at a later date. I don’t get to choose when I’m gone. Oh well.
I had a super weird situation with the skunk
Well, it’s been a week or so since they’ve all been chopped and are curing in jars. The smell while burping jars is fantastic. Gelato is sweet and creamy, cheese is funky and a bit sour, blackberry is super sour and fruity. More to come once everything has cured a bit more. My sampling has started, I get impatient haha

The smoke is quite nice on this blackberry. Both seeds I’ve grown have a sour forward, fruity, menthol bite. I like the flavor. This round ended up with some thrips. I managed to segregate these from the veg and worked my ass off to not cross contaminate between the 3 tents. Was a real pain unfortunately. I ended up with 2 1 qt mason jars, which was the average for this round. Regardless of the minor thrips, all the strains I’ve tried are quite potent. I am a medical patient so when I have to dial a dosage back, it’s quite strong. It shows how strong the genetics are, imo. A good growers can’t overcome poor genetics, good genetics can overcome a poor grower.
