To start off I just want everyone who reads this grow diary, to have a general understanding of what I do in my grow rooms, and a little bit of background on how I grow. when I grow any type of plant I rely strictly on science, general hypothesis, and general method. Although I am growing this cannabis to ingest I am a strong believer in science and only science. I do multiple experiments on these plants to test the stress and reliability of the strains. All plants are purchased by me and all of my grow diaries are unbiased, and are not sponsored by any companies. However after I do grow a particular strain if the strain is strong enough I contact the breeder for more test seeds of different strains. While testing the plants I take multiple clones from the same mother plant and test different types of fertilizers and different methods of stress. The reason for this is that whatever it is I do will be almost completely conclusive and correct. Let’s start with red-hot cookies. Unfortunately, I do not have any photos of the first week of this plant's germination. However, I will post the results. Also, I would like to add that I do use basic fertilizers, I am not into fancy snake oil. I’m a strong believer again in science if a plant is given the right amount of nutrients and is a strong strain you do not need anything more. Wasting hundreds of dollars on unneeded nutrients is definitively something I do not support or endorse. If you are a nutrient/fertilizer company please do not contact me as I am not interested in your sponsorships or free materials. I’m going to keep these diaries unbiased so future customers of the seed breeders have a complete understanding that they do not need to purchase all of the extras to have a great grow. Week one I have only germinated one seed of red-hot cookies the seeds were purchased from seedsman I received the packet of five. The rest of the seeds went into cold storage, to preserve genetics. The seeds were germinated on January 25, 2021 also please note that I build custom tanks and hydroponic systems that you cannot find on any market, I have a background in engineering, and botany. I did however purchase the tent it was generic and from viosun. If you’re looking to save money you can purchase these tents without any branding from Ali Baba express. I purchased mine from Amazon as I needed it quickly. The tank system that I’m using is a 17-gallon container with custom air stones, there are also custom lights as well one purchased LED from Amazon, I purchase LED lights and design my own holders. Please note that I’m a strong believer that you do not have to spend thousands of dollars to yield $300 worth of cannabis. In the germination stage red-hot cookies sprouted within 48 hours. I used a paper towel method with a Ziploc bag in a warm dark place. I also use 2-inch net pots, with Rockwool. Most growers use 3 to 5-inch net pots I do not to conserve space. Have grown several times before using the same method with different seed breeders and it had not one issue using 2-inch net pots. Most people will tell you they are too flimsy but they are not. I will note however that mine did break, that was due to what you will read that happened within the months. The plants generally sprouted as normal I used a basic mineral solution with a baster to keep the rock wool wet. The taproot protruded the Rockwool within the first week, the water was kept 2 inches from the bottom of the net pot and I used 12 gallons of great value distilled water with 0 ppm.

There is always room for improvement. Ask questions along the way to get bigger better buds! Looks like a nice grow but the buds look smaller then other grows of the same strain. No harm in asking how your doing along the way. Happy growing

Week three, is very much like week two the plant is growing rapidly and is Producing a lot of vegetation, Again I have grown many strains before and this strain seems to be very strong Sweet seeds have done a good job genetically so far with the strain. The water in the reservoir is absolutely clean. each week I add 10 ML of Hydro guard and six ML of calcium and magnesium. I also spray the leaves with an Epson salt sprayer to ensure that the plant is receiving Enough magnesium. I have not done any defoliation or trimming as of yet. So far so good. Again I do not have any photos up until week four. the photos you are viewing are previews of week four. Please note the other plant in the Reservoir is some subpar free seed from seedsmen. It was a horribly weak strain.

Now we are going to week four, the plants have started to really vegetate, I have seen rapid growth in cannabis and other plants before, however, this strain is growing very large at a tremendous pace. I am having no issues so far, I am doing very light training and I started using pH down, as the plants ingest the nutrients the pH is rapidly rising. I hope to preserve perfect pH within the next week and continue on. I have been adding a gallon of water every three days to keep the reservoir at the right level. The plants are receiving a constant PPM of 400. Not only am I seeing five-finger leaves but I am also seeing seven-finger leaves. The plants are looking very healthy and there are no issues at all so far. I have Started to train the plants and started mainlining, I have also slightly defoliated the plant. This Plant is overgrowing the free seed from seedsmen. ( in hindsight I have never gotten any good free seeds from seedsmen) Science: There are a few ideas in this grow journal that I am toying with. The first idea is putting low-voltage conduction through the roots of the plants, I strongly believe that stimulating the the roots with electricity will induce larger and stronger vegetation. The other idea is blasting the plants with low decibel sound waves. We will see. There is another idea I have with string LED lights. However, I'm going to keep some of my secret sauce to myself.

I am being very careful with the strain, I do not want to overdose it with nutrients so I'm only upping the nutrients slightly, remember you can always add more. I am following the basic directions on the back of the hydroponics bottles, these companies put a lot of research and development into their solutions there's no reason to edit or change the N – P – K ratios. If you are going to change the n– P – K ratios slightly change them to the plant's growth cycle. The plan is growing very strong, there's plenty of vegetation and I slightly defoliate every few days. So far I am using basic nutrients, again I am a strong believer that these plants do not need to be covered in snake oil nutrients that cost hundreds of dollars. However, if funds Are not a problem be my guest. I have cloned the plant as I'm going to try to keep the strain alive for a very long time. Science: A friend of mine who is a fan of Nikolai Tesla, has given me some ideas about Using electricity That relies on inductive charging, However, I am not going to apply it for this grow I now have some ideas that I want to put in place using magnets as well. On a side note I have nine finger leaves.

The plant is now 1'5" Tall, it is producing A lot of vegetation. The plant has been topped I would like to put into place that this is my 10th grow in general, I have never had an issue with any of my grows. However, I am very careful with nutrients. I always produce low dosages and depending on how quickly the plant removes the PPM from the water, that is my determining factor in how quickly i Replenish nutrients and how high the PPM should be. I follow the basic directions on the back of General hydroponics line of nutrients. Please note these are the same nutrients that the astronauts use to grow plants in space. There are no funny pictures on the label, there is no tomatoes with dreadlocks just science. The plants have been through rigorous defoliation. The strain seems to be very strong, so far I have not had a strain this strong. However, I will test other readers after this. It looks like sweet seeds have done a phenomenal job crossbreeding this strain. Science: I have completed an electrical apparatus that I will attach to the next tank that I created, also I have created a brand-new tank that works in layers as opposed to just having a DWC that you add air stones, and water to.

Last week I had decided to flower the plant as it is growing very large, here are a few notes for new growers. Always flip your plant's light schedule when the plant is at the desired height this plant is now 3 1/2 feet tall. Cannabis plants tend to double in size depending on how well they are taking care of. If you do not pay close attention to the height of your plants you will inevitably have a plant that will outgrow your tent. Here are a few notes for some growers that have not grown in h20., First you can grow your cannabis in any substrate you want, the substrates that growers put here are common that you can find all over the Internet and in some local flowering shops however, all that matters is that the roots touch the water. You can grow in the glass fish balls, you can grow in non-toxic gel balls, you can pretty much grow in any substrate you want. Second note: growing in h20 in my opinion is a lot more easier than growing in soil. Some growers will say that cannabis has a different taste in soil there is no science that concludes that the cannabis will taste any better or any less good in H2O or soil. It is all opinion. However, growing in H2O does need to be taken care of carefully. Always remember to make sure no light is getting inside the reservoir and keep the reservoir clean of all debris. It's the same concept of having a pool. If you have a pool with no debridement it will stay crystal-clear with no filtration for a very long time. However, if you get debris in a pool unwanted organisms will start to grow such as algae bacteria, and other things that you would not want to touch your body, take that concept and apply it to a cannabis plant. Hydro guard is a failsafe in case you are too lazy to keep the reservoir clean. It will prevent root slime rot and many root problems (It's beneficial bacteria similar to what is in recharge only for H2O) Lastly, Your plants if grown in hydrogen will grow rapidly more rapidly than in soil you yield will be produced faster. Also, remember the substrate is free, if you cannot purchase deionized water you can use regular tap water as long as the PPM is low, even so, you can offset the PPM as long as it's tested. You will save hundreds of dollars in soil Perlite, and other fertilizers. Some growers will state that the chemical fertilizers are bad for you, that is completely untrue and also unproven. Again NASA uses general hydroponics To grow produce in space.

The plan is coming along nicely and it is flowering, there is a slight smell but it is not too strong. Last week I had switched the nutrients to 1-2-3 ratio.. I do not do any weaning there is no need. I allow the plant to use up the majority of the nutrients and then readjusted it for flower, there is no reason to waste any water unless there is root problems or root debris.. you can solve this by getting a two-dollar fishnet from your local pet store. I did notice that from boosting the nutrients to a high level that the strain has met its limits at 700 PPM the tips started to curl, I corrected this a day later by removing 4 gallons of solution, and re-diluting the correct amount. Please keep in mind that there have been zero fluctuations in pH during this whole grow the plant's routing system has reached homeostasis. The chemicals that I am using have adjusted the H2O to a perfect 5.8 to 5.9 pH. I am still spraying the plants with diluted Epson salts for magnesium. As well as adding it to the root system. I do not check EC unless I see severe problems in leaves.

The plant is now 49 inches tall. There is no need for me to do a day-by-day diary, there's also no need for you to do one either. ( have you ever watched paint dry) The plant is smelling great. It is tremendous and I have given up on the plant next to it The humidity was a little high, my vent fan broke it was instantly corrected by opening up the doors to my room and allowing the humidity to escape

The plant, yielded over 20 ounces. The only reason I was able to get that much cannabis from one plant was that I re-vegged it for another two months and then re-harvested another month later. I'm going to add the revenge photos here however I'm not going to re-add extra time to my grow diary as this website will not allow me to do that. As for the plant itself is a very strong strain, I did happen to get a seed with the red genetics I have cloned it several times and reveged the plant, I have also stressed it with extreme heat cold and other conditions. I was going to do another grow diary for the reveg, along with the tactics I used however I'm going to place a few photos here with no context. Please make a note that I did leave out some of the techniques that I used to grow this plant. I will be experimenting with Electricity on my next grow. Apollo: thank you for the test seeds for my next grow I would love to have a few more different strains if possible however I will post another diary for the crystal candy, Zen sensation, and dark devil. If any other breeders are interested in sending seeds for me to test, message me. Thank you again: NIkki
