They're alive, not much else to say as of yet....long road ahead and all that...
Bit of a deformation/damage to one of the leaves, doubt its going to have a big impact though.
Its going ok, the only comment is that for pretty much the end of the second week, growth seems kind of slow.
Might just be my perception and I expect weeks 3 & 4 to be real spurts so I'm sure all is fine.
Given a small dosage of biobizz at half dose, as I know autos are super sensitive.
Day 16: Still not much to report. They're growing ok. Couple fo fungus gnats have shown up, presumably from the rest of the house plants so I must have an unscreened vent somewhere.
Day 18: Did t bit of LST to the slightly bigger one. I'll probably do the same to the other by the end of the week. Its gotten a bit hot so I've had to turn down the lights, which is probably slowing growth a bit, which is a shame as its a bit of a critical stage in their lives! Fingers crossed I can ramp it back up and there wont be too much impact overall.
Day 21: Had some good growth over the last few days and responding well to some training. Expect to start to see some little hairs over the next few days.
Day 23: Just stepped up the feeding a bit, still half recommended amount to avoid over doing it though. Tiny hairs formed, but will show when more visible. They've both got some nice density to the main branch so hope this explodes out in the next few weeks.
Day 25: did a good bit of LST today. All going well and Ive missed training them like this as I feel like you get to know your plants on a better level. plus getting up close and personal lets you see the formation of the next stages, the hints of purple already coming out is amazing!!
Day 26: can see some of that early purple forming
Day 30: one plant is starting to get some nice purple accents in the fan leaves and generally seems a bit more advanced than the other. Always find it interesting when two plants germinated at the same time, with the same genetics show differently throughout their cycle. Training seems to have done well and I've got a nice spread of colas. I'll leave them to do their thing now.
Day 32: Got a few leafs showing signs of some deficiencies, so I've upped the feed a little bit. Hopefully I don't see any more.
Day 33: Couldn't help but even out the canopy a bit more to try and get a nice even bud level.
Day 37: some spotty looking leaves, not sure what the issue is like every time, but might be a big of cal-mag deficiency, so I've upped that a bit, but still surprising considering its always in the feed. Probably always under do it a bit just because of the sensitivity of autos.
Day 40: Had to give them both a flush as the leaves were deteriorating steadily. Have watched the past few days and I think it might have helped stop.
Day 44: Have eased off the nutes a bit as think i had created some bad soil conditions, so did a fairly deep flush and will probably start yup again in the next few days, or when i see more typical yellowing from nutrient usage.
Day 45: These fucking brown spots are not abating. Not really sure what to do about it. I suspect its a manganese issue? but ive not seen anything like the spotting that Ive got. On both plants as well....
Day 48: Added some Alg-a-mic in hope it settles down what i think is a manganese problem. Although rare, its not impossible and think it mighty have been something to do with the shite soil i started with. God some bio heaven (yes a biobizz bitch) which had seemingly more manganese in it.
Still pretty pleased theyre alive and doing ok, the buds look beautiful so just hoping they recover and pump out the good stuff still!
looks like a magnesium lockout from either a buildup of nutrients in the soil or your soil ph is out of range. check your runoff water to see what your problem is. if the ppm/ec goes up dramatically then continue to flush because you have buildup. if the ph is out of range then flush with the opposite end of the range until it balances out.
Day 51: Not quite sure if the issue has slowed down, but Im doing all I can. Starting to think its just going to be a case of damage limitation now and hoping it doesn't affect the buds too much, as they look stunning with that colour still.
Day 53: My sense of smell is slowly coming back. How do you ask? Because holy moly these babies smell. But its not the normal reek, its a sweet, berry like bud smell, its pure heaven!!!
Tried to get a look at the trichomes and theyre looking good, but the purple is making them all look amber already. too difficult to get a picture of, but I'll try.
Day 59: Think I might have halted the problems with the spotting. Not that theyre going to look any better, but I dont see them getting much worse so I think its a little win.
The buds in general are looking pretty good i think
Day 61: All going quite well considering. I think ive fought off the nutrient issues, but now I have many, many gnats flying around, so the yellow paper is in full force as I really hope they fuck off before harvest. Hope to get a look at the trich's soon to se how theyre getting on.
Not sure what really happened here. It was going really well, then shit just hit the fan. Ive never had such a strong reaction so something presumably nutrient based before. I hope to not have it again.
The colours are amazing, as is the smell and I'm sure the smoke will be too.
I felt like i just had to harvest before there was irreparable damage so I'm sure the final produce will be sub-par than if i was able to give them their full time.
