Placed these seeds directly in my ocean forest mix. I think I'll go ahead and soak them first next time. There were seeds stuck to both of the sprouts, but they came up no less! #2 seems to be the more eager or the 2. I'm really hoping for girls!
Moved from the natural starter pots to larger plastic starters. I find the natural ones that are kind of cardboard-like to dry up WAY to quickly.
Overall these plants seem to be progressing well! #2 is clearly the more vigorous of the 2. I'm really hoping for girls!
I'm not PHing my water at all, and instead just relying on the PH of the soil. It seems to be working out so far!
These plants are staying nice and short. They have a really close node spacing, so height really wont be an issue whatsoever I'm hoping. They seem to be loving life! I plan to top this week!
After topping this week, they're coming back strong! I removed a few of the large fan leaves in order to get light to the lower shoots. I love the look of these plants right now. They're stout and compact!!
Topped again this week on #1. I nearly fimmed it, but just took off a bit of fan leaf. They're both doing well, but this week I plan to prep for a SCROG once these (hopefully) girls go into flower.
#1 ended up being a boy :(
But I'm not too worried! It looks like #2 is a girl and she is spreading out and growing like crazy! Due to lack of planning, she doesn't have as much space as I would have hoped right now. But once I can clear up my flower tent next week, I can move her into her permanent home and start trying to ScrOG her.
I also did some heavy defoliation and removed almost any fan leaves that had purple stems.
Gave her a pretty heavy defoliation this week. She looks like she's going to stack really well! I was really hoping to ScrOG, but I had to give my Gorilla Cookies auto a place to live while she finishes out. More flowers are starting to show, but she's really still just stretching at this point.
Some kind of bug was going on with Grow Diaries. I wasn't able to upload photos, but looks like I'm all good now! Will give a photo update in next week's diary!
The buds are really starting to stack and bulk up. She smells very fruity, but I can't quite put my finger on what. I'm thinking its a strawberry candy type of smell, but not starburst. More like the dark red strawberry candies that have strawberry wrappers. Like old people candy. But I'm hoping it morphs into a more definite strawberry aroma as she develops. I'm honestly impressed by how much smell there is being only week 5 of flower. In comparison to most other plants, this is pretty potent so far.
However, she is already showing signs of fading. Nothing too alarming, as there are 5 weeks left (hopefully), so I'm hoping she can push through alright. I upped the nutes a little bit this week since I'm thinking she might be a bit deficient.
Did some light defoliation this week. She's coming along nicely! Some buds smell like pungent fruit, while some actually smell like strawberry starburst at times. Overall, there is a presence of strawberry, but it seems to be constantly developing.
Did some very light defoliation on some of the really old and crispy looking leaves. These buds are becoming rock hard and definitely smelling more like strawberry-mango!
Although the flowering time says 9-10 weeks on the package, I'm thinking this girl will be on the earlier side. However, I'm probably going to try and let her go to week 10 if possible. I plan to start flushing after this coming week!
She loves warmth. Moving the light closer helped resolve an issue where her leaves were pointing up.
The trichomes have nice, giant heads. They photograph easily and I should have no trouble viewing trichomes under my microscope.
Started out with nutrients this week, but have switched to flushing for the past 2 feeds. I thought this girl was going to go all the way to week 10, but I'm thinking this might be a week 9 harvest actually. We'll see. After checking out the trichomes, I'm seeing more amber than I was originally expecting.
Beautiful fall colors are showing and keep coming more by what seems to be the hour.
The aroma of strawberries is definitely there. Not so much candy anymore, but now it's starting to smell like actual strawberries and other fruit. More like a smoothie or something. Whatever it is, it's nice and potent! This thing is covered in trichomes!
Unfortunately, I noticed some seeds starting to pop up this week. At first I thought the flowers just looked odd, but sure enough there were some nanners. Still definitely going to harvest what I can, but I was pretty disappointed to see any seeds at all. I haven't had this issue except once before with a freebie fem. However, I don't plan to keep as a mother, so no harm no foul.
Overall High:
Smoked most of a bowl in the morning morning. I felt a bit overwhelmed and a bit disoriented. However I still seemed to be functioning alright. I would be a bit nervous to had to interact with co-workers a whole lot.
Got some heavy cotton-mouth and some really heavy eyes for a minute. Not sleepy, just heavy.

After a joint or bowl, this can last for 2-3 hours easily!
Daytime/Nightime Smoke?:
I really don't feel much fatigue at the end of the work day. Usually there's a downer from most hybrid strains, but I'm feeling pretty awake still. Seriously, a great all day smoke!
I enjoyed growing this strain overall. She was definitely a pretty heavy feeder. I had to keep up with the watering pretty often in order to not piss her off.
I did encounter quite a few seeds in most of the bud from this plant. Not really sure what was going on there. Seems to have hermed on me.
Trimming was pretty easy overall. The buds are nice and dense. The smell is absolutely delicious and fruity smelling overall. Strawberries and mango are the main smells from this.
