popping my cherry with a dwc stealth grow. learning tons as I go, so far.. -Had trouble with temp at first with the two 100w pucks on fully. added a clip on fan pointed at the lights and driver and kept the closet door open when i could to keep ambient air cool. This brought the temp down almost 10degrees. -The two first days the Ph was volitile I used tap water. added 1/4th of what was suggested for a seedling, and used ph down till I was at 5.8 and 12 hours later the ph was up to 7.5 and the same happened day 2 but not a drastic and by dayb3 seemed stable. I think I may have chlorine in the water and next res change I'll try leaving the water out for 24 hours first.

Growing fast so far. -left the lid open for half a day last week and started to feel some slime in the bucket. I tried to clean off what I could from the hoses with a rag and replaced the bucket with a clean one and added hydroguard to the new res. The roots that made it to the bucket thankfully didn't loot effected. -got some calibration liquid for my ph tester and found it way off. I think this is what might be causing the deficiency I have here on day 11.

-Fixed previous Ph issue and she is growing super fast and dense, not That I have a reference because this is my first grow but she is not making much stem between sprouts of new leaves. -decided on supercropping as the training technique to control the canopy, have read many good things, but I have to say this being the first time doing it scared the shot out of me. I felt like I was killing her hopefully it pays off.

Really discouraged with my second attempt at supercropping. As you can see in the pictures I accidentally ripped an entire branch clean off accidentally. To my surprise the plant recovered very nicely and I chalked it up to a learning experience, went ahead and supercropped 3 of the other main branches along with some LST this time to keep them in place. Right now everything looks pretty good. Plants healthy and very densely foliated. hope to see her growing outward with these training attempts this week.

-Everything going well, she drank about half the res last week. Ph was very stable -upped the nutes to 75% recommended strength. -added crown bolts to the lid as anchor points to the the plant to for training - still learning how to supercrop without snapping branches. Still fucking this up tho - added another clip fan pointed at the canopy. Was noticing water droplets collecting under the leaves . This helped circulate air and address that

All around great week, getting the hang of supercropping without destroying her. PH is on cruise control now that I got the hang of it. Just explosive growth over the last week, super excited to see what she does.

There is much controversy about defoliating vs not defoliating. The truth is when you defoliate you will cause stress no doubt about that. If you want to cause stress in the flowering stage (no grower wants that) by all means go ahead. I'd rather cause stress in the vegetative stage where it wont affect yield or flower production to halt.

At this stage she is a monsta 👏👏 i wouldnt cut on her i would just tuck her to open her up i would keep the leaves if they not dead more leaves = more energy= BIGGER PLANTS you are in flower u dont want to stress her in any way they will blow up be patience when they start u will be like👀👀👀👀👀👀 she is buliding up strenth plus u can feed her more hope this helps👍👍👍🍻🍻🍻

Hey so the 1st 2 pics do look pretty bushy, I can see that shes continually filling in. I think if you clipped the bottom most branches(any not getting good light) the other branches will get more power. I also think if you can keep examining her and remove any leaves blocking the budsites this also will help as they need good airflow and as strong of light as you can provide. There are also some bloom booster fattener nutrients out there, but I think this strain is only about 3 or so weeks from finishing, so that may not be so helpful. Keep up the great work, the plant does look great and I think time will fatten her up for you. Happy Healthy Growing to you congrats on the first dwc with this stomper.

-Plant doing good I think, showing the first signs of trichs this week. -been needing to defoliate frequently to allow airflow and light to get in. She just fills right back up with leaves it's amazing. -added cannazym this week to increase nutrient uptake and breakdown some of the old roots. She responded overnight to it. Every leaf praising the light. This is the happiest she has looked the entire grow.

Everything going good still. Constantly defoliating now to try and keep good airflow. The frost is packing on by the day and the buds are starting to fill up. Added a humidity controller this week set to keep the tent at 55% RH. Love it so far I wish I did this sooner.

she's looking good. Be careful with that thin thread you used for lst. as she grows it will cut into the branch and cause damage. Do as much leaf tucking, of the large fan leafs, as you can to expose light to the smaller tops. You can practice your supercropping technique on the thick leafs and tuck then down inside the plant. It's all about giving it a slight twist as you pinch, not CRUSHING it, and with some effort it will start to relax and go limp. good luck.

@growduhan, you can supercrop in flower. It's not ideal but better than burning your tops. Any damaging stress requires a recovery time, and that's energy NOT being put into flowering.

@TheOutlawBubbaKush, awsome advice thanks man. I your 100% right I swapped out that thread at the beginning of the week for some garden wire I got at home depot and the thread had just begun to cut into the branches. I'm slowly getting this super cropping thing. She has tonsss of bud sites. Is it ok to keep on supercropping in flower?

I was ripping off a very small branch when a huge chunk of the main stalk came off. We all make mistakes but I think you are right to chalk it up to experience. Ask any one of these master growers and I bet they all have made similar mistakes. good luck with your grow!

Love your diary. This plant is extremely bushy. When my bud sites show, I’m stripping this joker. It grows so well and fast.

@MadMama, thanks! It's been real fun so far. Wish I had more space to grow more at once

Fantastic documentation. I did the same thing, bent her in the same direction. She stood up and now I see the stem bruising and the height took off.

@MadMama, thank you really appreciate it. I fucked up pretty good and got super frustrated and haven't updated in a few days.. I went to supercrop again and my sausage fingers ripped off an entire branch from the base of the stem. To my surprise tho she didn't seem to mind much and kept growing fine. So today on day 22 I super cropped 3 of the main branches this time successfully hopefully and ill be updating pics and stuff tonight

Patience is a virtue. My vegging time is obscene at 7 weeks with just the slightest hint of possible bud sites. Very vibrant plant and mine might end up pretty like yours. Super cropping and tying constantly.
