Starting out with 6 seeds found in dispo marijuana during the covid shortage! Unknown on which are which but contains a mix of Scotts OG, Black Russian Flower, and Eleven Roses! Used an eye dropper in distilled water and used paper towel method (8/23) Then transferred into soil after 24 hr embryo soak with paper towels (8/24). 5 out of 6 seeds successful(checked 8/25), crossing fingers on last one to pop and the rest to start sprouting! Will update at sprout! As in the AMS of (8/26), I checked back up and I have a 100 percent success rate in germination! Now it's all about making em thrive and shoot on up! (8/26) installed lights, humidifier, and oscillating fan. Removed humidity dome as well due to temp increase of 78F while inside dome with lights on! (8/27) Noticed 2 very bright green sprouts In which I believe to be scotts og! One or two seedlings appear to be "struggling" but the taproot looks very thick, healthy, and white. Very excited to see outcomes of this grow, fingers crossed on these girls! (8/28) Switched out 90 Watt Led to Vivosun 600Watt MH bulb, hung 24" above seedlings. Seedling height varying between 0.4-0.8inches. (8/29) Astonishing growth and nice green is showing! I will definitely have heat battles running a 600 watt mh/hps but fingers crossed as I hope to upgrade to a 4x4x7 tent soon for better ventilation. Will transition to veg first week report on first set of true leaves, thanks for reading up till now!
8/30 started ventilation through window which helped dropped temps from a high of 92 and average of 85 lights on, to a high of 79 and low of 72 lights on.
Installed new Ac Infinity Cloudlab 844 48"x48"x80" (4ft*4ft*6ft8") grow tent and transplanted on September 9th into (4) 3 gallon and (2) 5 gallon pots! So excited to see what this grow brings me as my last one consisted of only one plant in a 5 gallon pot and it absolutely dominated my Ac Infinity Cloudlab 632 1.6ftx3ftx5ft (roughly) leaving me absolutely no room to work with as the leaves smashed themselves against the side!
Started HST/LST training 9/13; Topped, minor defoilation 9/14 Recovery from topping 9/15 all plants thriving with two new colas, although two plants seemed to not handle it as well! But we all know how much of a warrior cannabis is! More photos to come!
