Hello and thank you for stopping by. This is the start of week 5 of flower for this Sour Diesel Auto from Fast buds. Wow. She is impressing me with the amount of resin and aromas coming from her. She is getting dense and the smell is very gassy with some burnt rubber back tones. She is a light feeder and easy to grow. I gave her, her last top dress today. She will be using what's left in the soil then eventually the leaves. There is no need for me to flush with crazy amounts of water as there is no salts in my soil due to my organic style of growing. I will be only watering with 5% run off if that. I will do this until she is ready to harvest is 2-3 weeks
I added a tablespoon of the 444 to the feedings schedule. The 444 from Down To Earth has dolomite in the recipe which will supply the plants of plenty of calcium and magnesium for these later stages of flower.
The 484 has a lot of beneficial bacteria such as humic acid. Humic acid is a group of molecules that bind to, and help plant roots receive, water and nutrients. High humic acid levels can dramatically increase yields. Humic acid deficiency can prevent farmers and gardeners from growing crops with optimum nutrition. 484 is also containing seabird guano. Seabird guano dramatically increases both the quantity and size of blooms throughout the flowering period for all indoor and outdoor plants. Seabird Guano greatly enhances beneficial bacterial activity in the soil, and it makes an excellent tea or foliar spray when filtered.
The 444 has dolomite and basalt. Basalt brings in much needed micro-nutrients to deficient soils, and helps your plants uptake other nutrients. When your soils nutrients are out of whack, the uptake of one of more other nutrients may be effected. Dolomite Lime enriches soil with calcium and magnesium while helping to regulate and raise pH levels.
Mixing these two together is a great formula for these late stages of flower with some worm castings in the mix. Worm Poop well mixed into Coco improves soil structure. Worm poop as more humus than traditional compost or normal garden soil, worm poop increases the water retention in Coco, improves soil aeration and anchors plants nutrients that would otherwise leached away with water. Stay tuned next week as this girl is going to pack on some weight and more frost this week! ☺️
Good luck with your grow I hope you get the best taste of buds and healthy plants! Take care and stay lit! I will drop by sometimes to check on your process! Say hello if you ever visit my page!
Greetings from L.S.T 🙏🏼🌟
Looks nice, very frosty 😀 I've been looking for a trusted source for Sour Diesel seeds. Many people claim its Sour D but it usually doesn't have the right flavor. I'll be checkin in to see how it turns out!
@Sour_D, For sure man fast buds is claiming that it's the original Sour diesel. I will let you know taste, smell, and high with some good quality pics so you can decide if it's the right one for you. I also have been looking for a consistent sour diesel myself. So far I can say it's smelling and looking like it should be it 🔥
@1Right_Angle, Right!? Around day 30 after burping in jars I find that the smell starts being VERY pungent. As long as we didn't over dry them. Right now the sour diesel is now is a quart jar with a hydro meter reading 66% just perfect 👌
@Hydro_Hiebs, i’m liking the sound of an 11-day hang. Dry -Harvest is the way I’m leaning as well. Made a couple crops “Pretty” before hanging. Funny how the smell & moisture disappeared in a short period of time.
(i did trim panamaxmalawi… nothing can touch that odour to this day, my fav wet trim or not)
Nice work! Happy Harvest
Question if I may…
I noticed something in your first picture, that I found Myself doing; and that was Not properly filling the Pots.
You have tons of good science about your grow, and good root info… I found I was ripping myself off by not making the biggest root-ball possible and that meant the biggest playground.
Am I just catching a low Pot or do you always grow with lots of room?
I’m learning lots about Autos, but I also notice some strange things, sniffing around other Tents.
Cheers, 1right_angle
@1Right_Angle, oh okay! Honestly I just evenly spread out what I had left for soil for 6 pots and they got what they got. I prefer to have the pots a little more full. But still enough space where things don't get messy! Thanks for asking! ☺️
@1Right_Angle, Hi ! I'd love to help out but am confused on what it is that you are asking. Maybe due to different language slang. Are you asking if I always grow with 2 gallon containers? If so then yes I usually grow my autos in 2 gallon containers nothing less. Sometimes if I know that I am dealing with a big longer growing auto then I will prefer 5 gallon container pots.
