Soaked the seeds in tap water for 24 hours before placing them between a sponge towel.
Now they are sitting 2 or 3 days till I put them into soil.
Before you wonder, this towel was cooked in boiling water before to make sure there are no harmful bacterias, viruses or spores.
After 30 hours the seeds popped up and showed some roots.
Time to put them into some pots for the first week before finally put them into the final pots.
The problem is I have some plants drying in the tent for the next days so they can´t go in there.
So the first week they stay outside the tent and get light from a viparspectra 150W LED.
So it begins
After about 30 hours both seeds developed some great roots, so I planted them right away into the temporarely pots for one week.
As by now my tent is in use for drying the last run for several days.
Edit: Now in their final pots.
This time I want to try some special soil that is peat-free and is called "terra preta".
This soil is a type of very dark, fertile artificial (anthropogenic) soil found in the Amazon Basin. To this soil I added 5% of basal rock dust to provide some elements like silicia, potassium, calcium, magnesium and other trace minerals.
So this should work from seed to harvest with no nutrition, at least I hope so.
I will only add water and that´s it.
This grow is sponsored by viparspectra, they gave me a XS1500 for testing in my tent which is 80x80cm or 2.6x2.6 foot.
So here we have a decent light with Samsung diodes and a Meanwell driver. It is IP 65 water resistant, has a clear coating on the diodes and some cooling ribs on top.
It is 14x10 inches, so it actually looks tiny a little bit.
Spectrum is good as it also has some IR Far Reds.

I wonder if those 150W are actually enough for 4 plants in this space as I usually grow with at least 200W on this space but we will see what this light can actually do.
This grow is also sponsored by Seeds Mafia who provided some seeds to me. Thank you guys.
I chose Sacitrus Haze because I wanted some nice sativa genetics, so this Super Silver Haze x Lemon Skunk should do the job.
Seeds Mafia says: Thanks to its genes, Sacitrus Haze has strong citrus flavors which reminds of lemon or grapefruit. It has an intense and penetrating taste with tones of incense and black pepper. Its effects are very balanced and psychedelic, the calming effects are followed by strong stimulating and energizing effects. In conclusion, it is especially recommended in social contexts.

I really don´t know what to tell this week.
They seem to get used to this soil I never tried before.
This soil gets very dense after the first waterings, I hope the roots are able to get the space needed.
Week 3 was an easy one, just let them grow.
These girls are really compact, I wonder how much they will stretch during flower.
Happily there are no more signs of nutrition overdose, looking good and healthy.
Here we are in week four of vegetation.
They developed some massive leaves now.
Now I will switch the light to 12/12 and hope for a good stretch.
I also topped them that week and will now begin to do some LST.
This is the last week of vegetation, the timer was set to 12/12 last week.
I added some clips for low stress training to get an almost flat surface for better light penetration.
Here we are in the first flower week.
I had to remove the clips as they hurt the stems more than I liked to see but the job is done, they are now all nearly the same height.
The light is now on full power, now the Viparspectra XS 1500 takes about 150W from the wall.
I had to pass a week here because I was really sick and had no energy to do anything. My wife took care of the plants and watered them.
So here we are back in week 9 and the girls are doing good.
For sure they had no ambition to grow taller than 50cm but that is okay. I just don´t know why.
This is week 10 now and things are looking good.
The buds are firm, the smell is good and the trichomes tell me to wait another 10 days before harvest is ready.
So this is the last week before harvest.
The trichomes are mostly cloudy, some amber ones.
Most sun leaves have been removed to provide proper airflow. No one likes mould.
This strain is nice for daytime, I feel a pushing effect that keeps me awake and high for hours, energizing. No physical smash on the body, but a good mellow buzz after the energizing effect is gone.
It is strong, powerful and long-lasting.
The taste is for sure typically lemon-like with hints of grapefruit but also peppery. No wonder if you take a look at the origin of Lemon Skunk and Super Silver Haze.
I´m happy with the harvest. For sure I didn´t even scratch the yield potential but that wasn´t my goal as I wanted to work with a "small" light for that space to see what is possible in terms of quality.
And I am really surprised how this turned out. I got a bunch of nice bids, dense and full of flavor. Harvest was a sticky mess and had lots of trim to produce a decent amount of hash, I got out about 8g of bubble-bag hash.
