These last 2 weeks, the girls are doing just nicely, #3 looks the weirdest and #1 is the smallest. #4 is the biggest followed by #2. I'm trying 2 different nutrients to see what I prefer.
#1 and #2 will be receiving the GHE MAXI GRO/BLOOM series
#3 and #4 will be getting the botanicare PURE BLEND PRO GROW/BLOOM series.
Since they're autos ill be slowly adding in nutes and checking EC/PPM till I reach the target ppm desired for each plant. They will all be getting calmag. since I'm using RO water, I figured they'd need that as well. My main focus this grow is to take things slow, familiarize myself with the plant's growth and definitely use WAAAYYYYY less nutes than my first run haha idk why I thought more nutes = bigger plants 😂 newb logic.
Aside from the weird discoloration on #3 (can't tell if it's genetics or deficiency) these girls are looking healthy
Grow notes week 3
#1 This plant is healthy and thriving. She’s the first to show pistols which means I should change her status to flowering but I won’t do that until it’s pretty obviously in flower. She’s taking the training nicely and I think I’m starting to figure things out when it comes to training.. the trick is to simply SLOW DOWN.
#2 is looking great! Her leaves are healthy and node spacing is just how I like it to look. She likes LST and seems happy with the maxi grow/bloom series. The roots on each plant are healthy and white
#3 is getting greener each day but I’m starting to believe it’s either genetics or this nutrient line that’s causing this effect.
#4 is the thickest and biggest plant of the bunch. However, she is displaying rust spots and potential calcium or iron deficiency on the lower older leaves. I may have to feed heavier on cal mag while running this nutrient line up.
Thanks for reading this far! I hope you enjoy these time lapses of this weeks growth.. as always

Peace & blessings upon you!
this week has been a busy schedule but we got these girls taken care of and thriving. As of the date of the photos, these were taken two days into showing flowering signs so this is technically supposed to be a flower week but I'm logging it as Veg due to timing and the fact that not all 4 plants have displayed the same signs. To no surprise, within the following days, it became obvious that the whole tent started to flower so tune in to the next log!

This week is great! I'm witnessing the last pre-flower stretch coming to an end which means.... we bout to be focused on getting them BUBBLE BUDZ to grow phat! Shouldn't need much training after this point. The 2 that are being fed with Botanicare seem hungry for more food but the PPM are already at a level I'm comfortable feeding at. plus #3 started out as yellow as can be. My concern is the rust patches on the lower leaves of them that i'm not too familiar with handling. other than that, the rest of the plant is healthy and I'm excited to see what yields with them. #1 AND #2 both love GH- Maxi Series so I may just stick with that moving forward..
#1 is already putting out trichomes and is the tallest
#2 is opening up and taking training nicely, second tallest
#3 is yellow and trained less than the others, shortest plant
#4 is dense, with thick stalk and leaves, medium size, third tallest
I find this to be an interesting experience.. being able to grow the same genetics and cultivar, and observe the differences among them is truly helping me learn more about biology of the plant.
I also find that growing these herbs has made me not only a better gardener, but a better and much more patient person as well.. Thank you growing with me and following the journey!!!

OCTOBER 9 – 16
No additional nutrients were necessary this week. The readings have been consistent and with the topping up of the buckets, they seem to be enjoying this method of feeding. Some are starting to look a little hungrier than others but that has always been a thing in this garden for some reason.
The girls are also just now starting to put out some trichomes, looking forward to the frosty part of this season.
Before ya get on me for taking my sweet time updating yall, I got busy and just kept slipping my mind to come back and give updates. Soooooo, I do apologize for the delay and I will try to keep updates coming on time.

OCTOBER 17 – 23
BRRRRR, ITS KINDA CHILLY IN HERE… Trichome production is really kicking in on these girls. Roots look healthy as well as the tops of the plants. Bottom leaves are yellowing out showing signs of deficiency. I’m sure this is normal at this stage in the game but it’s always a concern when ya girls aint lookin too hot lol I’m still getting used to the changes in plant growth. Anywho, to be on the safe side, I have gone ahead and double checked our conditions to ensure that ranges aren’t looking wild or if something needs my attention.
I’m starting to get that harvest itch… lol growing this delicious stuff truly is a test of patience and discipline.
Buddie growth looks wonderful on these girls so far! Nice and relatively even growth throughout the plant. I removed most of the lower growth in the past week to assist with flower production.
As part of this experiment:
#1 & #2 are the ones being heavily trained – heavy defoliations, pruning, and super-cropping
#3 only received selective defoliation and very VERY little to no LST.
#4 received selective defoliation and pruning as well as LST.
Based on the results of the different training methods, I think I like the overall growth and structure of #4 the best
Hope you all enjoy your week and happy growing!

OCTOBER 24 – 30
So the girls look about 2-3 weeks from harvest, still got a lot of white hairs, quite a bit of clear trichomes (25%), no amber yet. Not much else to report this week, the girls are continuing to yellow out and the buddies are getting thicker!!

Disclaimer****** the nutrient measurements I have used account for the TOTAL TSP or ML / BUCKET. I start my seedlings at 5 gallons and when the roots develop long enough, we cut it down to 3 gallons. so if you are following my feeding schedule, just know these measurements are PER 3 gallon buckets. I wish they gave us the option to say how much total we use cuz not all growers calculate it down to the smallest unit of measure such as ml/l
OCTOBER 31 – NOVEMBER 6
October 31 notes – This week we are starting to implement GH Ripen to finish these girls out. Also, tune in for the next season of Autos, got some beans popping that I’m excited about!
November 2 notes – At this point, the smells are increasing in the house so its time to kick on that carbon filter. #1, 2, and 3 smell piney and earthy however, #4 smells straight up like candy yall!!! I mean if I didn’t know better I would think it was a different strain lol but I don’t think it is haha its just such a different phenotype than the others. She’s also the shortest, the stickiest, and most dense bud growth currently.
November 5 notes – so since my last week’s notes, the plants pulled a fast one on me and decided to pop out mature trichomes and buds and now I’m seeing more brown/orange pistols. We are officially in the harvest zone. Trichomes are all cloudy, very little to no amber yet but I’m okay with that just as long as it aint all clear heads I’m good haha. I would let them run slightly longer but the beans I popped are now seedlings who need buckets to grow in.
I will be harvesting these girls over the weekend, and I’ll update the journal with final weights once everything has dried properly.
Here’s a question for yall…. Do you ever catch yourself just lost in a trance when viewing your plants?
Let me know! Personally, every time I got to check on them, I lose track of time lol I can sit by the plants all day if I didn’t haven anything else to do haha call me crazy but there’s a certain energy I can pick up on in the garden and the girls will give you that good feeling energy when you care for them properly.
Thank you for reading and following this grow series!

As promised, I have returned with our final numbers after serving time in the trim slammer!! Geez that was painful to get done lol guess I'll get used to trimming as I grow more haha
The plants were great and gave me what I had hoped for.
My only complaint.... #1 smelled so bad when I burped the jars. When I started trimming it smelled like hay or grass either way its no good. All the others have nice smells and I haven't done anything differently to #1 compared to the rest when I chopped them down soooooo idk lol #4 was my top choice for bud shape size, density, and..... it smells fucking delicious!!! Like some cake or something haha needless to say ima be letting #4 cure nicely as we smoke through the rest. Thank you for following and checking out this grow journey!!

Best of luck with your grow mate. Happy days 🤞🏾 I'm growing a strain called Southern Light. Idk if they are related somehow but I'll keep on eye to see if there are any similarity between them.
@Bubble_Budz,... I'm using auto super soil . instruction says only need water.. It has everything organic ( living soil ) but wow it stink real bad.. Had to leave outside for a week in containers... Air out smell.. No way that was comming inside.. But it seems to work very good.. It says it supports auto' s for 3 months only needs water... 50 bucks for A pound. Enough for A 5 gallon pot.. I cheated and made 6 ....4 gallon pots... They're growing really fast and green .. But yea I'm going to switch in a little bit
