Started germinating this seed on 8/27/2021. I got a tap root on 8/30 and planted, and this little fella popped his bean on 9/2 and broke earth. This is the 3rd grow and I'm excited to continue my education. This grow I plan on focusing on temperature, not over watering, giving the plant nutrients, and LST. Let's hope for the best, growing this to be harvested just in time for Goose's fall tour!
Side note: the two cups that have the plastic bags are Carolina Reaper and Ghost Pepper seeds -- if anyone reading this knows how long it takes for those to germinate, please leave a comment below!
This week went by crazy fast, was able to sneak a trip to The Gorge in Washington to see Tame Impala which was cool. Moistened the substrate before I left for the trip, and she has grown an incredible amount during the first week. So have the peppers. Otherwise everything is fairly straightforward in this baby plant's life.
This was my last week of traveling for a while, so excited to finally be home with the plants on a regular basis again. The plant grew a good amount is incredibly health. Everything overall is going great right now as per usual in the early start of the life of the plant. I plan on transplanting the plant to a slightly larger pot next week.
The plant got repotted this week into a 3 gallon pot and is now in a larger enclosure. There was a lot of growth and the plant seems to have acclimated to the new environment already. I've been adjusting the fans lately to see what provides the best airflow. Sadly, the nutrients I ordered got lost in the mail, but luckily the vendor was willing to send a replacement order. On to week 4!
This week was another great week of growth -- did the second and final topping for this plant with the intention of having 6 main bud sites. Was finally able to get the nutrients in too and will start providing additional nutrient feedings next week. Continuing to dial in the new grow setup but as the temperature chills in my area, those levels are starting to get where they need to be! On to the next week!
This week's growth continued to be strong. The plant got it's first feeding of additional nutrients this past week getting 0.6ml of Big Bloom, and 0.4ml of Tiger Bloom and Grow Big from Fox Farms. I continue to give the plant water after I've noticed that the soil is dry and waiting a day. On to strong growth in week 6! Going to be time for harvest for the Goose shows before I know it!
Was a good week, the plants seemed to take in the nutrients extremely well! Ended up doing some defoliation at the lower node points for this week to more efficiently use the energy. I did give it nutrients again this week -- I do think I may have given them too much this time, so I will monitor for nutrient lock -- but otherwise they're in the full flower now! The plant is much shorter than I thought it would be, but for my circumstances, it's quite nice. On to the next week!
This plant is doing absolutely wonderful, it's taking in all the nutrients that I'm giving it, and flowering beautifully -- so excited to see what the final result looks like! To note, the nutrients is just fugazi numbers, I do 1 cap per 1 he's not cup of each and put a tad more of big bloom. On to next week!
Didn't give the plant any nutrients this week as I believe it got slight nutrient burn -- it's doing perfectly fine though now and is looking absolutely stunning. I'm too hype about this grow, and this plant has also been motivating -- makes me realize that this is some for of continuing education as I apply what I've learned from previous grows. I will probably chop a branch or 2 on Wednesday of this week to do a flash cure ahead of the Goose shows this coming weekend. Will then let this go for one more week and cut the remaining plant.
This strain is great -- after curing for a few days, it has developed a very lovely aroma and produces a great high. As a musician, I depend on this plant to take me off of this planet to explore the universe, and that's exactly what this did. Pretty buds, great highs, dry mouth.
This strain was SO MUCH FUN to grow -- very happy about this grow as it's my best one yet! 22gs! I'm so happy I started using nutrients and applying the knowledge that I learned during the first 2 grows! I'm excited to let this cure over the next week or 2 and the smoke it! Thanks for all of the support everyone!
