STRAWBERRY PIE batmans first dwc

Well guys as you can see I built a diy DWC unit out of a old storage box. Easy,quick and simple to make and costs practically nothing, only thing that really cost me anything was a air pump for a aquarium for 20 dolla and that's it everything else was easy enough to get for free so let's get started. 1. Container or bucket of any kind with a lid. If container is clear, white, or light transparent in anyway then it should be sprayed or painted black light is the enemy when it comes to the roots and water. Drill or cut a hole around 1inch and 3 quarter too 2 inches wide enough for the squeeze of a pool noodle but not big enough for it to slip through 2. A POOL NOODLE. Yes that's right a pool noodle. This will act as my Rockwool, and overall plant anchor. Cut into pieces around a inch to a inch and a half in size, then cut a small piece like a pizza slice away from the noodle chunk this will allow the noodle slice to squeeze in on itself enough to grip the seedling. Dont worry as the noodle is flex enough to deal with the growth of the plants stem. 3. Air stone and pump. As long as long as you have nutes and water then your good to go. I transplant my seedlings by removing them from the soil I do this by placing them in the palm of my hand a lowering them into water and gently wash away the soil till there is nothing but roots and stem. Place them into the centre of the pool noodle and squeeze through the hole into the container fill.with desired nutes water and air stone. Remember to leave a space of about 2 and a half inches from water to to base of the lid or noodle this space is reserved for air as the little ladies need this space so they dont drown. Ph water to 5.5 with around 300 ppms and that's basically it let them of to sort themselves out hopefully over the next couple of days thier roots will touch down into the water and continue to grow I'll give her a week in the nursery pot then I'll shift her to her own single pot

Well guys she spent about 4 days in the nursery with bruce just to get her used to the total submersion of her roots so now to build her her own single bucked straight up the same way as I done the nursery but in a bucket check it out for details.

Well guys first day of week 3 and she gets her head cut off, dont worry she didnt feel much pain and I soothed her with a little song to ease her pain nana nana nana nana BATMANNNN. Let's see her recover over the week and boost her stems forth so I can start bending and building a shape for her

Well guys first day of week 4 and gave her her first trimm bottom two stalks and fans wanna lolly her up past the 3rd set of nodes so she looks like shes gna take to ok not as good as I planned but hey it's my first hydro attempt what can batman say. After her first water change she has started to perk up just a little so she had her trim time to crack on Will update more pics as the says go on through the week will also update any changes in her ppm and ph readings

Well guys batman adjusted her nutes to 500 ppm keeping her at 5.5 - 5.8 ph jumps up every now and then but trying my best to keep on top of it had to trim her up just a little to space her out but wierd enough batman hasnt had to lst her as she has grown outwards without any training at all yet. Guess she knows what she is doing so batman leave her to it. She should start pre flower pretty soon so hopefully Batman can make it past the transition and get a nicely shaped plant ready for flowering. Had to g

Well guys I've caught up on the week now head was all over the place but batmans back on form now let's get cracking, well as expected this beautiful girl went over the threshold into pre flower but batman was there for her to hold her green little hands and guide her through the darkness. Batman had to change her nutes for this week only gna see if she can handle the boost in nitrogen so she can store some for the stretch before switching to full bloom nutes at the start of next week. What can I say she handled the boost quite well got a good few burnt tips but literally just the very tips and hasnt went any further her leaves have now darkened a little more was worried about the yellowing they went through just before she made the leap but all is well now and by the looks of things shes actually doing quite well. I'll let you guys judge that for me so far so good. But cant wait for nice stacking formation of buds 🤞I'll get her there

Bursting with energy this week guys gave her her first big bud dose at the end of the week so time will tell. Batman is happy with her progress hopefully she can handle the change up and keep on trucking on

Slow progress this week as she was taking her time shaping and building flower drinking around 2.5 -3 lts a day now so constant topping up daily as she is a rather thirsty girl. But batman is up for the challenge as this is batmans first ever dwc hydro grow let alone the fact that batman diy built it out of the cheapest materials ever in his bat cave, batman is quite happy with her progress let me know what you guys think batman always welcomes the great advice that I can apply next time round.👊💪🤜🤛🤟🦇🦇🦇

Starting to stack and fill out actually making more progress now as she slowed right down all week but she's picking up nicely now as ya can see she's frosty as hell just can't wait now
