All set for some veg-stretch! Upcoming Defoliation, and some LST by hand, to help further open up the satellite branches. Up till now I have only taken a couple center leaves as I go, as well as implemented some good ole leaf tucking - to help keep the plants from becoming too cramped, or worse case - create a stagnant pocket of air & allow for powdery mildew! Its all pretty pictures from here :) ~~~~~~~~~~ Lost a satellite branch on this gal unfortunately. I will have to ease up on the plant-ties in the future when using the 5gal bucket system. Moving the net-cups as often as you need to puts lots of pressure on those plant ties & branches. If I didn't have to move them, she likely would have been just fine. But no worries! This small amount of stress should go unnoticed. (Food for thought* the branch it was on will actually - most likely - end up the tallest of the remaining 7....Immune response, boosted growth - think about it.) ~~~~~~~~~~ Defol!
