SeedsOnline Autoflower Mix 10 pack came with 14 total seeds. I have chosen to do Strawberry Cheesecake Auto and Raspberry Kush Auto. They list every reputable breeder you could imagine on their homepage, but there is no information on the individual seeds who these were actually bred by, so hopefully all goes well.
Week 1 Day 1 Both seeds successfully germinated and are now in soil.
Week 1 Day 2 Both plants have broke through the soil, the raspberry kush is standing about 1/2 an inch and the strawberry cheesecake is just poking through, tried removing the helmet but half of it seems to still be stuck by the membrane so spritzed it and am waiting to see if its ready to come off fully later on
Week 1 Day 4 Both plants seem to be starting to perk up. Strawberry cheesecake is recovering from having the removing the membrane by hand as it was trapped when it came up from the soil. Raspberry Kush is doing well.
Week 2 Day 3 Entry is late as I was out of town this weekend, but bonus, my wife kept the babies alive. One is currently a little behind. Strawberry Cheesecake had a slow start due to the shell/membrane taking a little while longer to shed but now seems to be taking off, uncertain if there is something in the tent that chewed on one of her leaves or if something else may have happened. Raspberry Kush seems to be taking off nicely though
Week 3 Day 1 Raspberry Kush seems to be coming along nicely, Strawberry Cheesecake seems to be a couple days behind which seems to be right on schedule with their progression after they were planted.
Week 3 Day 6 Raspberry kush has some yellow tips developing on new growth.
Started to notice yellow tips on Raspberry kush on the new growth. Could this be from over watering? Or should I start adding small amounts of nutrients to her feedings? The soil they were planted in was used for 3 weeks in another grow when I found out they were male and removed
Ola amigo tudo bem ?
Isso e claramente o queima de nutrientes.
Deves ter adicionado nutrientes demais nas regas ou em alguma rega.
Se vires que o problema esta a continuar, aconselho te um flush.
Boa sorte no cultivo
Week 4 Day 1 Both plants seem to have a little bit of nutrient burn in their tips of the newest growth despite the fact I haven’t added any, although I am using fox farms happy frog with is a rather hot soil. I did research prior and read that I should have cut some coco coir in with the soil, but figured since this soil was used for about 3 weeks in a previous grow with plants that turned out to be male I figured the nutrients would have been slightly washed out. Next time I will mix with coco.
Week 5 Day 1 Both plants started showing signs of nutrient deficiency so I have began adding the Holland Secret line by Future Harvest as well as Calnesium. Raspberry Kush has reached twice the height of Strawberry Cheesecake despite the fact the both have 8 nodes. All in all for my first auto grow everything seems to be going very well.
Week 6 Day 1 Both plants are very much in to flower this week, probably could have listed last week as flower as there was a few pistils start, but they have increased nicely over the past week. The new growth tips are starting to show less signs of deficiency as well. Gave both plants a decent defoliation now that they are in flower.
So, the genius raspberry kush plant decided to stretch another 6” when i thought it was done grow, pressed itself right again the light and burnt the leaves/flower at the top if the main stem, do I just cut it off?
Got any close-up pictures. Its hard to answer without seeing the extent of the damage I would cut it off as the burnt area wont develop correctly and will just waste energy. but if its just minor then you might not want to as the top cola usually get the biggest
Happy growing
Week 7 Day 1 Both plants are progressing through flower nicely. Unfortunately Raspberry Kush stretched the one day after a feeding and pressed right against the face of the light causing the top of the main cola to have some burnt pistils and some dried burnt leaves.
Week 8 Day 1 Both plants are in to flower nicely, frosty trichomes are starting to become more visible on both plants. Only concern is that the Raspberry Kush plant seems to be slightly brighter green, unsure if its a genetics thing or if there is some deficiency I can’t diagnose at the moment.
Week 9 Day 1 We can definitely see the final stretch starting. The buds are fattening very nicely and I honestly are surprised at how big and bulky these plants are, I was expecting less as they are autoflowers, but I wouldnt be surprised to have more than 2 ounces per plant at this rate. I may have to put the trellis net in as the Raspberry Kush plant seems to be getting heavy and starting to lean. All in all coming along very nicely.
Week 9 Day 4 Took some extra pictures of the beautiful yellow/purples coming through in the Raspberry Kush plant.
Plant is Raspberry Kush, I’m assuming it’s because she is close to harvest and it’s sucking all the nutrients out. Also, looking up other raspberry kush diaries i’ve noticed they tend to end up pretty yellow. Was fed bloom nutes yesterday but noticed lots of yellowing today.
Hello like you are not so far to harvest i think it is senescence. So it is normal that your plant yellowing. Senescence is a sign that you made a good grow it is a step in the life of the plant so don't worry in my opinion. Your baby is really big beautiful and frosty. So nice to see. Good job man. Continue. Bye
Week 10 Day 1 With the trichomes in both plants starting to show amber I have started flushing as I like more of an energetic high as opposed to couch lock. Both plants are looking very bulky and are on there way to be ready to be harvested. At this point I have decided that this coming Friday I will begin the 48 hours of darkness followed by harvest on Sunday.
This harvest was very exciting as my first autoflower grow. The plant ended up very bulky and I can’t wait to see the results dried, I’m predicting somewhere in the 2-2-2.5 ounce range.
I’m very happy with this strain and would highly recommend. The grow went well despite having some nutrient issues on my part off the bat, the plant over stretched and burnt the main cola on the light. But overall the plant ended up very large and beautiful. I’d guess i get 3+ ounces from this plant.
Hey! Happy growing my friend! I hope you do well and get some good results! I will come by sometime to see your progress! Keep on growing!
If you ever visit my page please say hello!
Peace & love L.S.T 🌟❤️🔥
@JamMAKEcan, oh for sure. My furst grow i was super cautious and think a way over complicated things which caused me problems in the long run😂😂. A lot of “omg am i over/under watering?!” Etc. And yea I think i’m going to keep the current trend of a photo fem in my smaller tent and autos in my larger tent. I like the idea of autos, i can have no so much of a lot of different kinds instead of a whole whack lot of one strain
@Tubington9,
Only if we mess with them.. But they are simple to grow.. Basically plant and water then cut when u ready.. Lol
Fem/reg...u plant ..water .. HAVE to change lights schedule unless outside then u wait for winter aka shorter daylight. Then cut🤔🤔🤔really only 1 more step difference between them 🤣🤣just realised that.....auto do give a lot less on harvest. But quicker turnover.
@Inganjawetrust, thank you! I had a lil whoopsie a couple weeks ago when it first flipped to flower when I shot up about 6” in 2 days after it’s scheduled watering and burnt the top of the main cola pretty bad on the Raspberry Kush plant unfortunately 🤦🏻. She has recovered but that was the only major hiccup so far.
@JamMAKEcan, yea i haven’t given any nutrients yet, was relying on the soil still and have been giving 6.3-6.5 ph water consistently as i’ve read autos like it a little higher. Weird that it would take this long for nutrient burn to show up.
@Northernwizard, thanks! I figure I’ll probably do autos as well as photos, the ability to manipulate and contort photo fems is a challenge all on it’s own
