Well, I have just put 20 seeds in the pellets. Not sure how much will germinate as some of the seeds are a bit older and kept in the fridge. Target is 10 pieces but I can scale up to 15 or even 20. Want to put them in SCROG so I already put the net above it at 25CM. Since I have the idea that I just want to top, scrog and defoliate I will start topping on the 4th node. That will probably slow down everything but that is not my main concern. Just a bit afraid that IF they all come up I just have one or maybe 2 weeks to defoliate below the net. Inspection in the barrels is not an option so I have added a waterlevel tube to see what color my solution has. Then I can add H2O2 when water turns yellow/green. 09-09-2021: 11 out of 20 are already up. So I can start anyway. But I am hoping for more Runtz Or Purple Haze 10-09-2021: 14 out of 20. Need just one extra to start 11-09-2021: last runtz seems to germinate. I am choosing this one with one gelato as a backup. I have 14 fully germinated seeds and that half germinated. I needed 10 OR 15. I am going for 15 and hope that the Runtz will come up fully. Problem is that roots are coming through the rock wool so they must be placed in the system.

11-09-2021: Today is day one of my veg-stage. I hoped for 15 ladies but I only got 14. Maybe the not germinated Runtz will come up anyway so I put her in the system too. Everything is refreshed now and I will just be waiting to the point where I can top the ladies which I am planning to do at least once. 13-09-2021: The not germinated runtz didn't make it so I have replaced her with another Purple Haze. Great seeds from wietzaadjes.nl. Still hoping for the Runtz though. One of the purple haze looks a bit yellow :(

All going well. 2 Purple Hazes are still small but I am sure they will follow up this week. Not sure about the ultrasonic misters jet. The roots seem to love it but it also raises the watertemperature. One runtz is really growing fast. Curious how this will go 20-09-2021: One Gelato 41 looks a bit dried out. So I injected her by hand with 60ml water. I hope she survives. She is the only one that doesn't show roots yet so that could be a reason. 23-09-2021: Ordered Green Sensation from Plagron today. Had a conversation with Plagron and they confirmed Sugar Royal is not a great idea on RDWC. In my case I have to choose between Sugar Royal and CalMag (my computer only has 4 pumps) so I will put the green sensation in the system in the 4th week of the flowering stage. Then I will add CalMag manually if I think it is needed. I do believe next week I can bind the first stems if growth continues as it does. When all buckets are covered with leaves I will switch to 12/12 anyway. 24-09-2021: And another day further. The ladies are doing well, very unevenly unfortunately, but that will be fine next week or the week after if they are going to be scrogged. The half-dead still works and even seems to have resumed its growth. We'll see, if she doesn't make it, not much has been lost because I don't believe the net won't get full. Maybe I should switch to 12/12 a little earlier than planned, but okay, time will come, advice will come. Leaf color is to my liking, EC is slightly decreasing and PH is slightly increasing. That's how I want it so I believe the set EC of 1.2 is pretty OK. After the switch I only go to 1.4 and then gradually increase it. Last weeks I read some interesting articles about a high and low EC with the pros and cons and my conclusion is that the recommended schedule of Hy-Pro is quite good. High EC would lead to slower growth but more cargo development and more sugars, low EC would lead to faster growth because water can be absorbed better. That said, I also want to start a next round with an EC of 0.5 to see how it goes and of course also a round where I start with an EC of 1.5. I placed a snow white A4 sheet next to one of the photos to compare the color of the leaf. If the sheet of paper is white on your screen, you do see the true color of the leaves.

26-09-2021: 3rd week of veg-stage. Great. Will the be the last week or am I going to let them grow another week. I am switching to 12/12 as soon as the containers are not visible anymore. Then I also put the light on 100% power (75 right now). I sprayed the leaves with Hy-Pro Spraymix. Also topped the Runtz Muffin to slow her down a bit. Ladies almost touching the SCROG-net so probably next week starting to SCROG. I like that period on soil. Had no succes on hydro jet so I am curious how this will go. 27-09-2021: Ok.. The growth is good now, it's nice to see how they get a boost as soon as the roots hit the water. 5 cm in 1 night is really no exception. In the meantime, the first Gelato has just tapped it, so topped it right away. Now in doubt... The EC is at 1.1 and as you can see in the diagram below, the EC decreases slightly over a period of 3 days and the PH increases slightly. In fact, this indicates that the EC set is now almost perfect. (In a perfect situation the values remain the same and only the water level drops). So I can go up slightly with the EC and the system is set up in such a way that as soon as the clock turns the EC goes to 1.4. However, I still assume that I am 3 weeks of pre-growth (that is now 11 days) and that means that the EC is still on the low side for 11 days. A low EC ensures faster growth is my experience so far (and is also confirmed by what I read about it). Now I can choose 2 options... continue to grow for a few more days on the low EC and then a little earlier to 12 hours or increase the EC slightly for stronger roots and trunks and then complete the 11 days. The danger of the latter is that they continue to grow quickly and that I will soon have a much too full net (after all, they generally want to grow considerably after the switch). Tough decision. Lighting basically the same story. Now running at 75% and I see nice wide plants with big leaves. Under the TSL, the plants are much more even than under the SP3000. You can see very well that the SP3000 actually hangs above the front row of ladies and that the light does not radiate to the back row. The TSL suffers significantly less from this. I could solve this by hanging the SP3000 a little higher for more spread, but the purpose of this test is to compare. What do you think? increase both lamps to 45 cm and then at 100% or just continue? The danger of raising is that they will stretch more and I don't want that because my net has a fixed height and that has proven to be fine in the past for an even scrog (see also Jack Herer round). I have to say that I can't wait for the ladies to hang full in the net. Daily tying is a very therapeutic activity for me, as is photographing the buds as they begin to take shape. Then I ask for advice on the following... I ordered Green Sensation this week with the idea of adding it from the 4th week of flowering. My nutrition computer can only work on the basis of proportions (in this case 5ml/L hydor A/B and 1ml/L green sensation). However, the bottle advises to dose green sensation first and then adjust the EC. My computer won't do this. I therefore wonder whether I will not dose too little Green Sensation. How could I solve this? (daily manual dosing is not an option because of the recirculating system). 28-09-2021: Refreshed the water, Sunday/monday switching to 12/12. Irrigation turned off for rest of the round so I hope for the little lady that she survives that. Bond First Lady under the net so scrogging is starting now 😬 29-09-2021: Today I snapped the Red Hot Cookies (the only one😢) so moved the little purple Haze in her place. Besides that I decided that it is time for 12/12 so I switch the light scheme 3 days earlier. Hoping that an tiger EC will strengthen them a bit.

01-10-2021: Put the ladies on 12/12 scheme 2 days ago. Growing really fast now and the difference between the TSL compared against the SP3000 is starting to show. TSL Much better spread, canopy more even. SP3000, plants right below them very big, plants on the last row significant smaller. 03-10-2021: Just doing great, nothing special to say about it now 05-10-2021: Nothing special to say about it. Just growing great. Should mention I turned on my CO2 controller at 900PPM and raised the EC to 1.5 for next week. 06-10-2021: Had to bind a lot below the net. Growing extremely fast right now. I think the VPD of 1.7 is just great for the ladies. Last day of first week 12/12 today

07-10-2021: Bonding is a daily routine right now but that is just as I am used to in second week 12/12. One lady broke, probably to much tension. I fixed her with candle wax, will probably survive that without being slowed down. And if she is slowed down that is not too bad because she grows the fastest of all. Need to remove some leaves one day because light is not penetrating very great as you can see on the pictures. Starting to wonder if the differences between the ladies onder the Mars Hydro are because of the light or because of the strain.09-10-2021 09-10-2021: First signs of early flower are visible😬. I am guessing I switched to 12/12 just in time. Net is almost full, plenty of room for the buds to develop. Nutrients are taken up very fast now. EC is still dropping and PH is still rising so nothing to change. Next week I will raise the CO2 level to 1000 ppm. 11-10-2021: Net is almost full so flowering can start now if you ask me.. Very curious about this round since I am still experimenting with the CO2 and temperature. This night I raise the CO2 level to 1200PPM, just to see what happens. (Yes I can see the impact of these adjustments over one night) 14-10-2021: raised EC to 1.7... Seem to love it. Probably combined with the extra CO2

14-10-2021: Actually I have to start a next week by tomorrow but I have changed so much today I decided to start a new week today. It is still not easy to maintain a VPD of 0.7..... Well it is only an indication in my case because unfortunately I still do not measure the leaf temperature. Temperature was a bit on the high side last night because the temperature sensor of the PK125 has now ended up under the foliage. Of course it is a lot cooler there so it kept running at 10% I have adjusted that, so tomorrow I expect a completely different temperature trend. Also completely emptied the system today and replaced the Hy-Pro with Ata Awa MAX. I have exchanged the Calmag with the Green Sensation, so this will also be dosed (1 ml/L) from now on. I will add Calmag from now on with a pipette. Let's see how the PH is going, as the packaging of the ATA states that it is self-regulating. If that is the case I will put CALMAG in the reservoir of the PH- and reprogram the system. I have chosen not to scrog today. I drilled a hole in the middle and the container to the right of it and killed quite a few roots (unfortunately the drill went through) and that seems, in combination with other nutrition, a suddenly somewhat lower temperature and the torture between the leaves to to get the sensor in place is enough stress for 1 day to me. So they can now go to sleep and tonight we'll see if there is damage. I'm guessing it's not that bad because previous experiences have told me that they can take quite a bit. 17-10-2021: Flowers are starting to form. 18-10-2021: 2 hours of bondage ;) 139 tie-wraps. Damn.. this is a lot of work on a daily basis 20-10-2021: Finally some white hairs on them.. Damn... never took this long. Will it be because of the high temperature?

21-10-2021Well, still no real flowers.... but otherwise doing great. I assume it is because of the heat because I had another grow a few months back and they also were very slow switching to flower stage. They grew out to very nice buds so I don't really care right now but just want to take some awesome flowering pics. EC is set at 1.9 and that seems to be a bit on the high side. EC is not dropping anymore but rising. Some would say that is not cool but that was exactly I wanted it because I want to slow down the grow a bit. 22-10-2021: Finally some flowers... let the fun begin 23-10-2021: Damn... that was a lot of work today. Had to bind the ladies down to achieve an even playground. Also had to defoliate a bit because there was almost no light coming through. More then 3 hours and again 200 tie-wraps. (Yes 200 is my new max I want to do on a daily basis because I do have to do other stuff also). So as you can see I do have to bind a few more but that is something for Monday. Happy to see first real flowers now so counting tomorrow as day one of real flowering.

29-10-2021: First week of real flower. Buds are starting to develop, have to remove a lot of leaves on a daily basis. Raised the EC and lowered the PH. Added some H2O2 today (4ml@50%). Differences between the SP3000 and the TSL2000 are starting to show. SP3000 has far more buds and more leaves. But it looks like she has to be closer to the canopy then the TSL2000. That is too bad because she is not very wide. Canopy on the edges receive a bit less light. The TSL has a better spread but despite that she runs on a higher wattage (307 vs 289) she seems to be less powerful. 01-11-2021: Today I decided to defoliate. Removed a little bag of leaves and some little stems from the lower side of the ladies. It was needed because stretch was clearly not over yet and there was no air-circulation possible anymore. Because my last round suffered from botrytis I wil accept a little lower yield but hopefully without botrytis. Buds are developing nicely and I am curious too see the differences between the sativa's and the indica's. It is clearly visible the sativa's are a bit slower but the cause of that can also be the difference between the lights

I am on Atami ATA Awa MAX.. My current set EC is 2.0 During lights on this goes up to 2.3 But after adding water to desired level (RDWC) is is far below 2.0 again. Since I cannot find a grow schedule for this nutrient I am just looking at the ladies and raise the EC by 0.2 weekly

I would say keep her as it is, I am seeing a little bit of clawing but no major signs of to much or to little. Plants are looking great. Remember when you check the EC check it at the same time every day. When the lights are on it will usually show a lower amount and lights off will be higher. At first sign of anything bad do a full water change and that usually resolves the issue before anything serious arises. Happy Growing

I also use RDWC for years now and my ec value is always too high at 2,5. Now i'm in week 7/8 flower and my ladies are almost three times as big as yours and i have ec value of 2. Next week i drop to 1,8 and then flush for a week. Your npk ratio is according to Awa max 5-4-10, you don't use P/K 13/14. This is required from week 4 flower. You have to gradually decrease the amount of nitrogen from week 4. I use Canna aqua and the npk ratio is from base feed 3.4/3.7/9.4. From week 4 i use pk and the ratio changes to 3.4/10.2/16.4. (25 ml A/B plus 25 ml PK) And add Cal/mag. In recirculating dwc you also have to add enzymes and the top-feed causes rootrot because the base of the stem remains wet. Ata zym is a good one. Also from Atami. Ps I only have two ladies but usually i have around 200 grams dry per lady. With dimmable 600Whps and 2 weeks veg. Also barney's farm, liberty haze and critical kush.

Yesterday I took these pictures as a result of some questions / comments whether the stuff is not very close together. Yes it is close together but as can be seen in the photos there is sufficient space for circulation. Here and there some leaves stick together but that should not really have a name. Did some extreme outliers yesterday as well and decided to let it go from here. Expect to have plenty of room to raise the lights so should be almost fine. Unfortunately I haven't heard anything from Mars Hydro yet regarding my lamp... I also changed the water almost completely today in view of the fact that Green Sensation will be dosed into the solution from this night. Since I already had a somewhat high EC after the CalMag addition, that just seemed better to me. And let's be honest .... a little fresh water every now and then can't hurt. 08-11-2021: @Hazeydays @Chow_13 Looks like I have to select one answer as the answer. Both are not. @Hazeydays When Using Green Sensation PK13/14 is not necessary. About the stems keeping wet... no problems with that (I only irrigate once an hour for 5 minutes @ 7,6 liter per hour). About the enzymes.... that is really the reason I use ATA AWA and not Ata B'Cuzz. To prevent root rot I use H2O2 50% (6ml 100L). About the size... as you can see I keep them as low as possible. My stems are about 6 cm in diameter. And yes if I grow only two my yield per plant wil be bigger but also taking a lot more time. @Chow_13 I have an automated setup so I measure EC, PH, Temp, CO2, RH all every 15 minutes. 09-11-2021: I had to defoliate because of light. Didn't want to but it was really needed because some buds starting to color because of touching leaves 10-11-2021: Detected some coloring on the roots yesterday night so added a shock dose peroxide, let it run for 12 hours and then refreshed the water. Looked like some nutrients got locked out but it also looks like they are short on CalMag. So after refreshing water I set the EC to 1.6 but first added 10 ml CalMag. So pretty curious how they will look tonight. Also raised the lamps a bit because despite all the scrolling attempts I still have a pretty uneven field to play with. Chopped some leaves also so I can say a lot of stress this week. Will give them a week to recover and hope not to stress them to much. Some buds look like they are almost finished but they need to stay at least 4 weeks from now.

Goodmorning you all... Still doing great here. Had some issues with the roots but I saw it just in time to solve the problem with H2O2. Lowered the EC a bit to 1.7 and started to use calmat again because much red stems, some coloring on the leaves etc. 15-11-2021: Just added some pictures. Nothing special to say about them today 16-11-2021: Today I noticed my pump was not pumping as usual... So I decided to check it and I really couldn't find it😂 Well it was totally grown in the roots with I didn't expect because the pump was sold as auto-cleaning. Well that is definitely not true.. Housing of the pump was also full with roots (see picture above) so I had to cut al lot of them. I hope it does not cause too much stress for my Bruce Banger. 17-11-2021: Good morning everyone... the pump is still running and the ladies don't seem too bothered by the cut roots either... We keep our fingers crossed... For the rest, it is striking that relatively little water was consumed last night (only 8 liters), but then I have to take into account that I did not have to empty the dehumidifier because it now flows directly back into the barrel. Buds are slowly but surely starting to take shape, even the bigger buds are now getting their first layer of crystals... Maybe the lamp needs to go a bit further but I noticed stretch again after raising it yesterday so I want to be careful with that. You would almost think that there are plants from 2 different rounds in terms of development. Some look like they can go next week (not yet) and others look like they are just starting to flower. Haven't had that many different tops yet. Of course I also have 4 different strains in it from 4 seed farmers so it was a bit to be expected in spite of the fact that they all have a specified flowering time of 9-10 weeks. The stats.... 68 days ago seeds in the ground, 61 days ago day 1 growth, 50 days ago switch 12/12... Flowering times according to seed farmer: Purple Haze (Wietzaadjes.nl) 63-70 days Runtz Muffin (Barney's) 56-63 days Gelato41 (BCN Seedstockers) 63 days Bruce Banger Fast (Seedsman) 56-63 days So not very strange in itself that some already look like they are ready... Anyway... if I start counting from real flowering (this was 27 days after switching 12/12) they still have 4-5 weeks . So it is best to harvest visually before they start to rot. After looking at the pictures I just think that my EC can go down a bit. So we have now set it to 1.8. Given the slightly rising EC at 2.0, I expect that this value will only be achieved the day after tomorrow, but that is not a bad thing. 18-11-2021: EC has dropped to 1.87 so that is as I wanted it. Also lowered the CO2 to 850 PPM starting tomorrow. Buds are starting to swell now and should probably cut some buds out of it, but I wait with that so I can make a selection of the finest buds (ok, buds with least leaves, I hate trimming)

19-11-2021: Still 4 weeks left... Buds are starting to swell, I think I have to harvest the Runtz a week earlier. Lowered CO2 to 800PPM. Lowered EC to 1.8. Will replace the water by end of the week. 21-11-2021: Some people suggesting I should use PK13/14... But they are not telling why.. Honestly... I have no clue what it could do for me. Already using Green Sensation from Plagron with clearly says..."When you use Green Sensation you don't need a PK fertilizer, enhancer, booster or enzymes!". So I am just continuing as I do. @Hazeydays... Was just rereading your comment but cannot find any grow diary from you :(. Why do you think I should add PK13/14?You said (3 weeks ago) your ladies are in week 7 and 3 times as big as mine. What do you mean by that? Because I think it is quite normal that plants in week 7 flower are bigger then plants I week 1 flower. Do you have a link to your diary? Thanks in advance 23-11-2021: As you can see some buds seem already to be ready for harvest. Very strange, only 56 days of 12/12 now. (I started counting flower on day 27 of 12/12 so only 29 days of real flower. I was told this might be due to adding Green Sensation too early but I would expect all the ladies would suffer from it then. It is just one. Even the lady which is in the same bin doesn't show any signs of amber trichomes. Very Very strange. 24-11-2021: Buds seem to swell very fast now overnight. Looking and smelling great. Today my fans will arrive so from tonight on they will have some windy conditions I hope.

26-11-2021: Added some ventilators to circulate the air better in the room. Only 250 M3/h so nothing special. Buds are still swelling and I am more confident that my ladies will keep up till end of third week of December. Will do a system Rebuild after this. 27-11-2021: Buds are starting to swell. Great... just a few weeks... Cut one bud. She was ripe. Still don't understand how 02-12-2021: Bit hot in here at times.... Starting to color.. just a few weeks more

Well this week I will start with harvesting the ladies that are already finished. I expect the rest to be ready in about ten or 12 days but some buds have so much amber, I really need to cut them. Too bad, wanted to keep them till the 16th of December.

Well it is sure that I should not put that much plants on such a little surface but despite that I am very happy with the results. With 792 wet I expect an 150 dry which is very nice.

This was my last round in this setup. During harvest my feeling was confirmed. Some dead spots in the buckets so also some root rot and because of that the runtz didn't perform as hoped
