Revamped and ready to Grow! Planting these ladies in 3.5gal sub-irrigated planters in a professional level mix specifically tailored for Cannabis plants. To start off we wetted the soil to allow for some expansion of the Canadian peat. The seed was dropped straight into a hole approximately 1/4 inch deep i poked with my finger. She germinated and sprouted in about 3 days and we are off to a great start to our Great White Shark.

Week in a Nutshell - sprout got some new additions and fell over from the weight and fan. I braced the sprout and then adjusted the ph up to 6.8. This was done to maybe help the roots take faster to grow a stronger stem. probably an unnecessary step if I'm being honest. Day 5 watered with a PH up to bring the mediums ph up to 6.8-7.0 depending on where checked at. Hoping this will help the plant start to build more strength and density to the main stem. Day 4 found the lady laying flat on the ground, the stem got too long and wasn't strong enough. I braced the stem with a wire tie and added more medium around the base. Day 3 no updates Day 2 I filled lower basin and adjusted the temperature range down to 68-78 degrees Fahrenheit instead of 75-85. Hope this will also solve other issues in the grow tent as well. In theory (basic meteorology) the warmer the air the easier a parcel of air CAN become more humid. That said, too warm with not enough water molecules available makes conditions too dry and therefore less humid. So by lowering the Temps and keeping the available water molecules the same you will make your air more humid, until you achieve supersaturation i.e. rain/mist/fog etc., OR the water molecules evaporate. Needless to say, the tent humidity is now much higher, this will also help make the air move easier in theory as the more water vapor in a parcel of air the lighter it becomes, it seems backwards but it's true. So this will help with circulation. Science lesson for the day is now complete. Day 1 no update There won't be much for this week as it's just a sprout. I am eager to see how big she gets this first week.

Week in a Nutshell - This week the lady got her second node set and is doing really really well. I almost feel I could have left her on her side instead of bracing her up. Maybe it could have been week 1 LST? Nonetheless I left her alone this week and just monitored the conditions.

Week in a Nutshell - FIMming is the method of choice this week. The lady was on her 5th node and super strong and healthy. FIMming is also the least stressful for a plant as there is no full removal occurring. I chose FIMming for this gal for its structure as I wasn't going to be able to LST this plant until I had more room in the tent. FIMming allows the lower growth to reach up as new main stems. I was also planning on doing a long veg but found that to not be a viable option as my light schedule was subject to change. Day 4 - 5th node was FIMed today, the lady has a good structure going so figured it would be a good first test here. Worse case is she gets a fresh new haircut. Day 1 - I will be giving this gal 1 more week of untouched growth before beginning any training methods. This pheno is growing really well and is super healthy and happy. I likely will not update much this week or next. I'll post picture updates and comment anything deemed to be critical that I do to her.

Week in a Nutshell - HST attempted and am still left me confused. Maybe it should have been one more week out? I'll just have to do a bit of research for next grow. Nonetheless I will continue trying until I am successful. I also tied down the branches to sort of train LST but more of an anchor. Day 4 - monitoring day. Environment has been steady and have a total of 5 main stems now. Triggering the flower cycle in 2 short weeks. Day 3 - HST complete failure as the main stem refuses to actually be affected, the stem is already back to normal and continuing growth, maybe that is due to it not being in flower? Idk. Either way the lady is 2 weeks from a light schedule change. Day 2 - HST the main stem after FIMming the end of week 3. So we will see if it's too much stress. Day 1 - introduced a CO2 regulator and an environmental control box to the tent setup. I was running a PPM of 630 In the tent now I'm set at 1230 PPM hopefully the lady likes the additional co2. It was mainly added for my other grow but maybe it'll help in veg too? The lady was FIMmed at the end of week 3, I decided to do this as a new to me method and a perfect opportunity. After the new growth emerges I will begin LST and see what happens.

Week in a Nutshell - I watered a bit both sub irrigated and from the top. the plant looks healthy and the HST areas are showing signs of training with the branches starting to show some knotting. HST successful is what I'm thinking, now what benefit will that give I couldn't say. Day 4 minor maintenance and adjusting done. Light watering and soil checks done. All things check out. Day 3 nothing was done Day 2 has no update really either. Watered a little and looked her over. Day 1 had no real update, she's kind of on auto pilot for a week or so and then we will add some nutes and send her in to flower.

Week in a Nutshell - Some nitrogen deficiencies are present, I will be probably feeding the plant at some point the next week, also tied down branches this week. Day 5 left alone Day 4 watered a little and defoliated a few yellowed leaves on the bottom. Nothing else. Day 2 I changed to a 12/12 schedule. Mainly for the other plants being grown at the same time. Next week I will also feed her and tie down the other branches.

Week in a Nutshell - Started the lady out this week in flower with a early schedule change to 12/12 we were able to actually start flower today with actual evidence of flowering (technically pre-flower) being some pistols shooting out from some of the newer growth sites. unfortunately i broke my hand and maintaining the lady has been a chore. I did end up feeding the lady 2qt of 24-8-16 nutrients to boost long run nitrogen. As the week progresses I will update some photos and we will likely be feeding the lady this week. Day 5 - light defoliating and a Little water. I then bent down all main shoots as seen to promote more exposure growth in flower. (I've heard it works)

Week in a Nutshell - fed last week, hand still broken just had surgery updates will be rather garbled up. I Will be monitoring habitat and RH as the grow continues to mature. Day 1 - I have started super cropping some of the taller shoots, not sure if good or bad choice yet. Day 2 - light watering and rotation. Also Monitoring the mediums ph as I start feeding.

Week in a Nutshell - The Lady can breathe and grow better and the frost is starting to come out. Maybe this will be the frostiest buds yet. We enter another week of flower and we started it off with some LST and watering. Growth and bud sites are the focus this next 2 weeks and hopefully we get good coverage and good results from the late training as a cramped tent prior prevented early LST. We will see how this week goes.

Day 5 - Fed a 24-8-16 booster again and hoping to see the Nitrogen deficiency disappear. Watered in at 1 tsp/gal I've never smelled a plant be so strong so early in flower. Last week it started. Now it smells like pineapple gas. I'm excited to see her in 8 weeks. The nutrients are also already In the medium so. I've done nothing else really the whole grow. Day 1 left alone. The lady has 6 weeks to 8 weeks left of flowering time according to GCS, which means 9-10 weeks til harvest as the plants just never seem to be done and ripe At the same time, and the timeframe when following the growing guidelines from the seed banks is almost always seemingly 2 or more weeks short. Day 4 watered and adjusted leaves no more defoliation for remaining part of grow. Signs of nitrogen deficiencies so day 5 I will feed her some foods. Super impressed.

This week will be trying to fix the nutrient imbalances and adjust mediums ph to about 6.6. This is one of the frostiest plants I've grown yet. I just hope that I don't hurt the yield somehow. Update for the week. I started off with a feeding as the leaves were Starting to show the signs of N and P deficiencies. Ultimately the plant is healthy and happy now but for 3 days she wasn't sure what to thing about the nutes. She started to yellow out and was looking like I made her sick. But she's good at day 7 and I can't wait to see her in 5 weeks

Too much nutrients? 24-8-16 for early to mid flower. Will this negatively impact me and does that mean I should flush? I thought the blend was a 4-8-6...

Hey there TragicT, it's not great, but it's not such a big deal either, on one hand it did hold them back, but on the other you're still going to go to harvest. Like you said this one is a frost monster right, and i always say if it's not broken dont fix it. So live and learn, this takes a bit of practice ! the good news is you'll have a harvest to smoke while you start your next round. Hope this helps ! 🚀

Week update - D1 - I really didn't do much this week, as the grow is pretty much on autopilot until harvest.. When it comes to the harvest I'm expecting it to be around the New Year. I also placed some more low stress training wires to the large group of Bud sites off the main branch. I'm hoping that I can turn each one of those Bud sites into an 1/8th. An update on the overnutrients, comma the plant seems unaffected and his bounced back the colors appear to be normal and the growth looks to be extremely healthy. I will. I would say that the plant is not suffering from any nitrogen potassium or magnesium toxicity's. D 2 I rotated the planters and squeezed the buds for smell check, my fingers are so sticky... even larf buds. D4 I managed to fix the nutrient imbalances and adjust the watering to bring this lady back fast. I adjusted some tie downs and watered Yesterday so today is now autopilot. D5 I watered with .5l today sub irrigated and rotated the planter the buds are fattening nicely. D6 I took new pictures and tried removing background. Success???

Day 1 I watered with 0 tds water to start flushing as the next 2 weeks look to be the last two from the trichome stages. I rotated the plant to the front of the tent too. All in all I don't expect much to happen until harvest. Day 2 I rotated the planter and removed the dead leaves that were hanging. The purple is starting to come out too. Day 3 watered with 0 tds water Day 4 left alone Day 5 deoliated most fan leaves as now I want the plant to focus on bud mass. Day 6 rotated the planter and took pictures of the growth.

Day 1 of this final week before chop started with 0 TDS water and some other little adjustments in the tent. The plant is flushing out already and the purple and orange coming out is crazy I will try to reveg a couple smaller buds to clone this lady at somepoint. But first things first, need to finish flushing this week and monitor the trichomes as most are cloudy to milky with few clear and amber present. All things said I wish I could have vegged her how I normally veg my photoperiods but I'm still happy with the end result of this great white shark. Day 2 defoliated all fan leaves leaving only the buds and the leaves in the buds. Day 3 left alone Day 4 rotated the planter Day 5 left alone still flushing and the fan leaves being removed slowed the consumption of water in the planter. I likely won't water again this grow until reveg. I snipped a total of 4 buds off, all main tops. I did this as they were ready for harvest but lower growth still needs a week or so. The flush went nicely and this lady let her rainbow show. I'm super happy with the Aroma, the structure, the density, and the color. This is hands down my favorite grow so far in flower. I cannot wait to flower the clones of her!

Easy harvest single plant super dense and honestly it couldn't have gone smoother. I am debating removing the popcorn bud or revegging it... either way the main tops were the biggest buds I've harvested yet covering my entire palm. I will be growing this in the future I won't log the grow however. This pheno I believe is one of a kind and I likely won't be as pleased with a second run. The sungro#4 I grew in was excellent too and honestly I am seeing the relation between quality and the medium being used. I will be using this medium for a while. Until the final dry weight is In, Happy Growing and Happy Toking! -TRAGIC OUT- Update water curing was the best end result and will be the way I cure all my flower.
