Started half strength nutes in distilled water this week. Bc they're still so young I've been diluting 1:1 distilled water with nute water. Still adding a teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide. Treated with diatomaceous earth as a preventative for pests(white spots on the plants, dusted a little heavier than planned, hoping it won't negatively impact the girls). Will probably begin just watering with nute water within the coming days. Gonna wait another week before I start on Fox Farm Grow Big for the girls. Still debating on if LST would be a good idea for my first grow. The tent is small so it would be nice to have some control on the growth and I'm too much of a puss to top them. Suggestions welcome

We switched to just nute water this week and the girls have been loving it. We have one more water to finish up these nutes before I begin big grow notes for about the next 2 weeks until she begins to flower then we will do a flush water before switching nutes again. They also began lst this week and don't seem to be too bothered by it. Prob gonna keep it minimal just to keep the girls short since the tent isn't very tall.

Explosive growth since starting on grow nutes, prob gonna finish up the grow nutes after this week and start pushing bloom since white widow is already in preflower. Girls got minor light burn over the weekend bc I was out of town and didn't adjust the light ahead of time. Added a cheap UFO light to see if we can push a bit more growth. Continuing LST

We switched to bloom nutes this week. The girls seem to be loving it but they're definitely demanding more water now. I'm going out of town for a few days Thursday night so they're getting a DEEP watering tomorrow morning. Still recovering from the light burn from last time I went out of town so I'll definitely be adjusting the light ahead of time bc I'm expecting some stretch from NYC over the weekend. Overall I'm happy with my results so far. Hoping to pull at least an oz from WW and 2 from NYC so I can get full return on my investment on my first grow, but I know there will be other grows so I'm not stressing it too much.

The girls did great over the weekend, the white widow had a little more stretch and the NYC is doing well but entered flower a bit later than the white widow so still waiting on a good stretch from her. Gonna continue bloom nutrients through the next 2 weeks then I'm going to switch to just water for the white widow so that she can flush. I'll continue with the bloom for the NYC for a week or so after so that we can push for maximum growth before we flush her as well.

The leaves started to die wilt on the white widow this week. Idk what's up with that but since we're only 2 weeks out from harvest for her, I've decided that maybe it'll be okay. She will no longer be getting nutes after this week. The NYC Auto is doing well, starting to pack on the buds. Only did mild lower canopy defoliation this week. Also reduced the light schedule.

So the white widow is still having some kinda issue. I did not stop her on nutes this week. I gave both girls a shot of grow nutes bc I suspected a possible nitrogen deficiency but that did not seem to help. I also gave NYC a shot of tiger bloom to see if I could push her to bulk up a bit more. Definitely going through the learning process. I suspect that the white widow may have been upset by me switching from spring water to baby water two weeks ago due to supply chain issues in my area, but I'm choosing to believe the problem isn't too serious because bud production doesn't seem to be slowing down. I read that it may be due to the plant absorbing the nutrients from the leaves but I seriously doubt I'm so lucky and it may be a bit early in flower for that. Suggestions are welcome

I am growing a white widow express from Phoenix seeds and am on day 58 from germination and recently all the leaves have started dying. The yellowing is pretty uniform throughout the leaf so I don't think it's nutrient burn, they're just withering away. Should I be concerned?

Brown curing in tips is nutrition burn and you have it really bad. Are you getting run off when you water? I suspect you are not getting enough and have a massive back up of salts. Causing ph problems as well. A good flush and ro testing is required. 🌱🌱🌱 good luck

Started flushing this week. Will continue to do so as we approach harvest. Hopefully they will be ready in 2 weeks but right now I'm just watching the trichomes to see when they get cloudy. The goal is more of a sativa high so I'm going to chop earlier while most of them are milky.

Getting very close to the big chop, flushed a few times over the last few days. Planning to chop when all trichomes are milky so just watching it for now. Despite the fact that I burned the shit outta my white widow, I'm happy with how this grow has gone as a learning experience. Still have no idea how much I'm going to pull off of these babies but I'm excited to go into the dry and cure process next. This week we flushed. I've only been giving them water.

Finally our last week of flower. The trichomes look amazing, I am more than happy with the bud size and amount. Still have no general clue how much I'm gonna pull off of them, but I'm really excited. I defoliated today before they get the big chop in 2 days. Today is their last day with lights because I'm going to try the dark period before I chop them. This has been really fun. Let me know how you think I did for my first run!

I knew she was going to produce more than the other plant in this grow and I'm super proud of her. I think if I ran this strain again, I would definitely do some things differently such as topping and not waiting until well into flower before realizing runoff is kinda important. She took my abuse well, but I feel that she did punish me a bit for it on yield. Joke is on her though bc she outperformed my expectations for this grow. Super happy with the end product, can't wait to run this strain again for even better yields.

This one was a big learning experience for me and probably the more beneficial to showing myself my shortcomings as a first time grower. Unlike her sister she let me know when she was upset right away and with dramatic flare and she definitely punished me for it. The smoke on this one is amazing and has me wishing I had more but that's more my fault than the plant. I burned the absolute shit outta her but she still gave me quality bud and much more than I expected from her. Definitely a positive learning experience and I believe the lessons I learned from her will improve my next run. Honestly could not recommend this strain more for a first time grower as she's just sensitive enough to teach you a lesson, but also provide a quality smoke at the end of the run.
