Just putting their roots down. Not much activity up top, yet. Hopefully I'm watering properly, my goal is to get the taproot all the way to the bottom of the container. Last harvest, the bottom 2.5" - 3" of the container was untouched by roots, most likely due to the water not reaching the bottom during watering.

Very surprised how hardy these girls are. They barely weep when I water them. The leaves have been tipped up, 'praying' almost their entire lives. They seem to be having a suspiciously good time in there.... 🤔 I want what THEY are drinking! Actually, ...... on second thought, maybe not....😂🤢

Should I have topped this one a couple days ago? These girls have been very vigorous. The only thing that gave me pause was these miniscule white pistils right here. Can I snip em, you think? Or bad idea? And if yes, should I FIM instead?

It's a bit late, you should top autos at day 11-14 and only if they're happy and strong. Give her some time don't stress her anymore and start some LST after that. Next time try topping after the 2nd node.

Considering topping one. One is significantly larger, plus I kinda just want to see how it goes. I know it will stunt the plant, but it might be useful to even them out so my lighting setup works more efficiently for both plants. Added Grow Big by FF this week, I'll add a half tsp every few days or so. Avoiding cal mag in combination since they have plenty of overlap.

You can see I ended up topping one, the node spacing was out of control and I needed to even the 2 plants out. Plus wanted to see for myself exactly how she'd respond to it. Ever since, she begs and begs for water. I also may have missed slightly. But we'll see how it goes. The smaller plant is training well in my opinion. But boy are these girls thirsty. I've never had to water a plant so much in my life.

Brown spots? It's on the plant on the left. Both the same strain, and autos, but I topped the one on the left. Its been growing too quickly tbh and just wanted to try to have an even canopy. Been feeding them fox farms veg nutes. About to switch. Dose her with cal mag maybe?

The ocean forest should be good for 4-8 weeks on its own. I see you only recently began feeding, so that's good. But, cal mag each week ... if that is necessary i'd stop buying OF. Plus, got your own super soil portion too. too many unknowns to be certain. How much was added.. how much was already there etc... A few things on leaf chart look to fit including Mg deficiency which could be locked out from too much Ca.... i'd lay off the calmag for a bit, personally. See if it is lockout. This is least invasive path... before guessing on adding stuff. always easier to add.. taking away is a bitch. The conflicting symptoms makes me think lockout is cause not a deficiency. with a hot soil like OF, you'd want to wait for plant to ask for nutrients. then with that familiarity, jump the gun around that time in future grows. OF is not 100% consistent either, so still good to see a visual queue first until you are more familiar. Also before any majore reaction, are you watering properly? wait for top 1 inch to dry, then fully saturate.. a little runoff helps ensure you don't leeave any dry pockets which can raise hell with pH and nutrient concentrations. since you ahve a super soil component, i'm a bit hesitant to say get a good 10-15% runoff, like you would in a soilless substrate. that will merely strip away your substrates baked-in nutrients. But, do make sure the whole thing gets hydrated.. whatever runoff it takes to be sure of that. if that sounds different, i'd also do that for 7-10 days before major changes to feeding. Assuming it doesn't take a nose dive, of course. i wouldn't top autoflowers too often... in addition to them being on a "timer" the stress could cause that time to go off early and cause a reduced yield. if it is growing like you say, no worries this time. In future, try finding something to use as a riser for the shorter plant... = even canopy.

Doing pretty well this week. About to add fox farms bloom nutes. Just incredibly annoyed by the stretching one plant is doing. Same strain, same environment. Oh well. I put a riser beneath one of them.

Smelling like a fruity gas bomb. Getting ready to be gone for a weekend in Ohio. Planning on watering them heavily right before I leave. Hopefully they should be okay. I've been getting some deficiencies here and there, and some leaves dropping but nothing highly unusual. Looking like it'll be a good harvest.

What kind of deficiency do I have going on here? I gave a good dose of calmag last night. The first signs were the dark spots on the leaves. Been feeding ff bloom nutes every other day, 1/4 to 1/2 strength. started from the bottom. Leaves turn yellow and then dry up.

Looks like toxicity to me, Way to many nutrients causing nutrient lockout.. I would skip the next few feedings and use just water. First sign is the leaf tips start to burn. After that you start seeing both toxicity's and deficiencies because the roots are getting burnt and are unable to absorb nutrients correctly. It will take a few weeks to clear up as you are feeding nutrients and have her in a super soil.

This week I had an emergency out of town. Couldn't water them for 3 days or so. When I got back, they'd dropped ~80% of fan leaves. Still growing fine, though. Nugs fattening up nicely. Added sledgehammer rinse to their water for flushing. Probably good anyway, they had a little nutrient burn going on as well. Overall, I'm proud of these girls for sticking through their little drought, though.

Even without their fan leaves, the nugs have been chunkin up nice. It's been a breeze. Great genetics. Easy to grow. Hardy. Smells amazingly sweet, like candy. Harvest within a few days, trichs are at ~20% amber.

A little more yellow than I'd like, but no complaints. Will be removed later. Amazing smell, added small amounts of molasses in the last week. Loving PCG so far. Anyone wanna recommend me a good auto strain to grow next? Or any recommendations on companies to look into for seeds? Thinking of trying something new for fun
