This was the final week for these girls. What an easy grow this was.
11/18 Day 68 I put them in 48 hours of darkness.
11/20 Day 70 I harvested them.
I will do a final harvest log when they are completely done and in cure. Probably the following week.
Hanging weights after harvest are as follows.
Zkittles 14.3 ounces
Gorilla Glue 14.3 ounces
Green Crack 15.6 ounces
Pineapple Express 15.5 ounces
I'm expecting to end up with 2 ounces per plant. Anything more than that is a bonus.
This was a great grow and I'm starting my new grow right away. Purple Kush and Train Wreck.
Until next week. ✌️🏼
Flushing is very important, took awhile for myself to figure it out.
Thought just watering for the last few weeks was good enough,
now I pour the water through the soil, 6-8L at a time, suck up the
water with the shop-vac, let dry, repeat at least two or three times
or more if you can. Now I'm getting some flavourful and smelly buds and
the herb burns alot cleaner👌.. Plants look almost ready👍, Happy trimming!!!!😎
@MooSnuckle69,👊👊.
Still snowing😵, well over a foot of wet heavy snow, YUCK!!!
The trans Canada highway was closed yesterday from the Manitoba
border all the way to Thunder Bay just about, accidents and trucks in the ditch everywhere, CRAZY!!!
Have a great day and stay safe!!
@northernMike,
Sounds like you skipped Fall and went right into winter.😂
We have a couple days where it is close to 70 degrees and the next few days a high of 40 degrees. Hard to get used to the change in temps.
I appreciate your response. I think I will stick with the proper flush and get the ppm's as low as possible. All my plants are completely yellow leaves at this point. Buds are looking good and trichomes are getting cloudy. I'm going to wait for some amber and then it's chop time. I just want this crop to be free of chemicals and burn well. Every harvest thus far some people have complained of harshness.
Thanks again and be well. ✌️🏼
@MooSnuckle69,We just got dumped on😵, woke up this morning to
about 4-5 cm of heavey wet snow, supposed tho get another 20-30cm today
and another 10-12cm overnight and tomorrow😲😲. I don't think it's going
to stick around as temps are just above zero in the daytime for the next few days👍..
As far as molasses goes , I think it makes the plants more resinous for sure, just like
any simple sugar would, plus it has a bit of calcium and other micro nutrients.
I use molasses mostly to feed the soil and the microbes in the soil which produce
sugars and carbs that the plant can uptake easily, I think if you use molasses right up until
the end you cannot get a proper flush because the microbes are still feeding and producing
sugars and the plant is still feeding from the soil.( my opinion)
The idea of the flush is remove all nutrients from the soil so the plant will start to feed on the
sugars and micro nutrients that are stored in the leaves, this causes the leaves to fade
and change colour. I hope this helps👊👊
I have the same light as the one you are using in this diary page. I'm curious to see how are you using the light as far as %. Is it100% all the time or do you start at a lower %? If so, what do you start at and when do you move up the %?
Thanks!
