This is seed 2 for my grow, but it is a week behind seed 1 so I made a separate diary for her. MIckie was sprouted on 4 March and moving along just like her big sister. Both started out with some odd/deformed shaped first leaves though as you can see from the pics.
Grow Details:
48x24x60 tent
3g smart pots
70/30: Fox Farms Ocean Forest/ Perlite
Tap water (24h sit)
Viper Spectra 300 - 22 inches away
- Note: have 2 75w CFLs waiting to be added once a little bigger
4inch filter/exhaust
6 in fan to circulate
Heater with auto on temp control to keep the girls snuggled in on cold nights.
2 pots in a tent, first seed is a week ahead of this little girl

I will be updating daily as much as possible.
Missed a few days updating due to visitors, but I did snap pics every day.
Aa you can see, her first set of leave are pretty deformed worse than her older sister. Started feeding a little on day 10. I probably should have waited another week, but fed her big sister and just kept feeding. We will see how they like it or not and hopefully they continue along normal. Struggling to keep the humidity some days, but not horrible. Lows around 40%, highs in the low 60's. Temps have been pretty stable in the 77-81 (25-27c) degree range.
Day 12 - Temps outside dropped to 30's so humidity is struggling around 45 and Temps in tent 70-75
Day 13 - Temps and humidity are LOW. I am lucky to get 36% humidity. Had to set up another heater to get the temp into the 70's.
Day 14 - Temps and humidity are back to normal. Going to start taking pictures after her dark hours. She looks much more perky in her mornings
Little girl is just growing and pushing as much as she can.
Day 16 - New VIPARSPECTRA Reflector-Series 450W LED was ordered this morning for the girls. The 300 is going away a short time for other purposes. It will be back for flower.
Day 19 - new light arrived and installed in place of the VS300. So a true 200 watts from LED, before it was 132. Watts. Still have the 75 watt CFL going when not taking pictures or dark hours
This would be a good week but... the timer I had in the tent failed on a bad day. The girls sat in the dark for 10 hours and the temperature jumped up to 84 and humidity shot up to 78!! I am trying to do what I can to get it stabilized, but it is proving dificult. Humidity is down to 56 as of 10 minutes ago. Temperature is still an issue, but we will see. Keep your fingers crossed.
Day 24 - Wow is all I can say. I did a little LST bending the main stem over a few inches and the plant exploded with growth. I bet we see flowers in the next day or 2 at most.
Recovering really well from the issues this weekend. Temps are still high though and will only get worse. Fed 3L of water with full feeding and had about 10% runoff.
Day 25 - Rearranged the tent spreading the girls out a little. Removed CFL light and added the VS300 back into the tent. Primarily over this girl and the 450 is over her big sister. But they have a good amount of shared light. Temp is still high, but humidity is back to a great spot.
Day 26 - Looks like we have flowers starting to pop out.
Day 27 - Flowers!
Mickie is looking really nice this weekend along with her older sister. I think she had a date last night, she is looking damn good and gets asked out all the time. We enjoy our long evening talks about our days. Wife thinks I am weird, she doesn't understand! (hehe)
Day 29 - Started trimming off some of the larger leaves to give light access to the lower flowers. Very little each day to not stress her out so much.
Day 30 - Light 2L watering to test. More Trimming
Day 31 - Apparently 2L was not enough at all, both girls thirsty and looking forward to a good feeding tomorrow. Trimmed some more.
Day 32 - Full 4L water and nutes today and made sure to get a lot of run off this morning. In the evening, Temps spiked up to 88 in the tent. Hopefully, the overnight Temps bring that back down. Both girls looking good today.
Mickie is looking real good! Slightly smaller that her big sister, but catching up fast. I changed up the view of her since the top down was no longer doing her justice. Both girls have been really thirsty lately. They are taking in 3L (20% runoff) every 2 days now. Mickie is pushing 5 colas at roughly the same pace and 6 more smaller ones a little behind. She is smelling amazing too. Earthy and pine mixed together. Can't wait to get to taste her next month or so.
This weekend, the girls are starting to pack on a little weight. With Mickie, I can see the colas all starting to put on a little weight and filling in the gaps between buds. She is just a happy little tree that is moving along nicely. Trimming leaves in the way of buds and making sure they get plenty of light. No big issues at the moment. They are getting watered and feed every 3 days with 3L of water/mixed nutes above. I will take the girls outside on 4/20 for a photo shoot to show the world what they look like in natural sunlight. That is currently their next scheduled feeding unless they tell me differently!
Day 46 - For the people wondering, yes the tent was invaded. Last week I started growing a few simple bell pepper plants in there. Additionally, the girls are sharing their light with 24 sunflower sprouts that will be moving out this weekend.
Day 48 - Took Mickie and her sister outside for pictures. Needed to see how they were under natural sunlight. Also did a 2L ph flush/2L nutes feed this morning. Looking real nice and filling out her colas.
Start of the new week and both girls are happy campers. I continue to remove between 1-3 fan leaves every day that are covering up other bud sites. I have a surprise 2 day vacation coming up that I am trying to plan around. I may miss a day or 2 getting pictures. I will figure something out though.
More outdoor pictures coming this week since she looked so pretty out there.
Another day of happiness. Did a half feeding this morning (D65) and will look to start flushing on day 68.
I will be doing a shorter 5 day flush before starting a staggered harvest around day 73-77. The girls smell amazing in their home and fill up the garage with their aroma when I pull them out. If not for the filter, my entire house would smell like these little girls. Looking forward to harvesting.
Day 70 - Missed this day with a surprise overnight out of town.
Looks like it is the final week. I know I said I was going to do a 5 day flush, but minds can change. I decided to keep feeding to the end. I wanted to see the difference between this plants flavor/smoke and my first plant that I did a 10 day flush on. SCIENCE! Wanted to be able to personally taste/see the difference between flushing and not. Still plan to harvest on day 75, but may be as late as day 77. I had to trim up a bunch of dead or almost dead fan leaves on day 72. I am gonna guess I need to adjust my fan to blow lower and not dry out the fans late in life.
Day 74 - Pushing harvest back 3 days. At the suggestion of @KaneBoogs, I cut off a 25g wet weight cola for testing. Good idea and I am dumb.
Day 76 - Still alive!
So these are the final days before harvest. She got to go a little longer than planned, but could not be avoided.
Day 79 - missed, out of town
Day 80 - missed before harvest that had to take place this morning. Just under 2 hours to trim this little girl down to 333g of wet weight. We will see what she comes in at after 5 days of the brown bag treatment. Full harvest pictures to come.
As you can see, I made sure every bud was accounted for. After the trimming, they spent 5 days in a paper bag to dry. The flavor is so smooth in my Pax3. Not the most potent of herb, but a good high still.
As you can see from the weight, I harvested 7g early for testing and finished with another 83g dried. This brings the total to 90g or 3.33oz. This plant has very little seeds unlike my first. Total watts for the test was 334, this plant sat under a Viparspectra 300 (134 actual). It had light from its sister's Viparspectra 450 (200 actual) from a distance. This harvest makes me WAY happier compared to the first.
Total from both plants in the tent comes in at 171g. I am gifting the seedy first plant as I can. No one should ever complain about free bud.
