MisterForestgreen Last night, on September 21, 2021, at 6:18 PM, it all started.
I chose Zamnesia Kalini Asia.
This time I'm converting an old hanging cabinet to see how good the yield will be in such a small space.
The goal is at least 50g using all the necessary techniques to make it work in this tight area.
Additionally, I want to continue working with UVB rays to see if I can maybe even achieve a purple discoloration of the trichomes themselves by the end.
Yesterday, I bought a water plant basket with about 6.8L capacity at the hardware store.
In theory, this should positively accelerate the plant's metabolism due to the openings and the faster drying of the nutrient solution.
The substrate is again Plagron Batmix, as it has already proven itself with the Zamnesia Banana.
If the grow in the small converted hanging cabinet becomes too difficult, I have a larger alternative ready.
To save electricity and for starting, I'm using an SMD LED with 2700k and 10W light strips with about 1500 lumens. (Ikea Ledare)

MisterForestgreen 28.09.2021 - The little one is still running with about 10W light output. I think I'll switch to the 45W full spectrum SMD LED tomorrow.
30.09.2021 - Until today, I've been growing the little one with an Ikea 9.5W (10W) 2700K SMD LED, saving quite a bit on electricity.
Since today, a Bioledex Q1 with 45W is hanging over the Kalini Asia.

MisterForestgreen 13.10.2021 - Today, for testing purposes, I trimmed the unnecessary leaves at a time when I believe the plant has enough energy reserves and sufficient foliage for photosynthesis. I always try to feel into the individual plant. In the picture "Day 23 - 10:38 PM," you can see that the little Kalini Asia is very strong and healthy, and I can sense that the apparent energy surplus will now benefit the small, still young leaves.
15.10.2021 - Today, for testing purposes, I reduced the fertilizer mixture that felt a bit too strong; from 2 ml/l to 1.4 ml/l. Additionally, I added 1 large drop of linden blossom honey and beet syrup each.
17.10.2021 - Today, I noticed that the roots are growing out all around the pot and that I seem to have successfully cultivated natural fungal cultures, which are now entering into a symbiosis with the roots by exchanging sugars for nutrients. Since the Kalini Asia still appears strong and healthy, I decided to defoliate again, as I want to direct the energy of the roots into the new, later fruiting sites.
18.10.2021 - I have temporarily decided against the honey, as it likely inhibits the desired cultivation of the fungal cultures due to the enzymes it contains. However, if things go awry, the honey should be able to counteract any potential mold infestation.

MisterForestgreen 21.10.2021 - 15:08 - Today, the Kalini was switched to a 12-hour cycle.
Today is the first time nutrients are added for the flowering period.
Switching from Plagron Alga Grow to Plagron Alga Bloom in the same ratio.
Additionally, Advanced Nutrients Nirvana is now being added.
22.10.2021 - From now on, the Plagron fertilizer, Power Roots, will be omitted.
Instead, more beet syrup will be added, along with Nirvana and Big Bud.
