- She's been having trouble from the getgo. For some reason the branches coming out of the nodes have vastly different growrates, resulting in sort of an asymmetrical plant.
- I was watering too much and too often. She was dampening off, also the substrate started showing signs of algae. I let her dry and rewatered again.
- Switched to regular feed cause I wasn't feeling the canna start additive.
- Booted up another seed, just in case (paper towel then into jiffy pot).
- After letting her dry and switching to regular feed she picked up again! Though still asymmetrical, the new growth looks very nice (nice looking green).
- Something was wrong with the camera, so lost a couple of days of footage.
- Main plant has recovered very nicely. Roots were poking out of the airpot so I transfered to 20L airpot as I will be topping/training her soon.
- Backup seed started off nicely but is having some trouble after placing the jiffy into a solo cup. I've got the impression that this canna coco coir doesn't have good airflow. As such, the cup doesn't seem to be drying as quickly and I seem to be drowning her again (watered every 24h). I've stopped watering to let the cup dry. Let's see what happens. After observing this I decided to add some perlite while transplanting the main plant to the 20L airpot.
- Regardless of what happens with the backup seed i'm very much inclined to just continue the original seed as she has recovered very nicely. I will be keeping only 1 plant.
- removed backup seed cause it failed miserably.
- Topped main plant at the fourth node and did a little bit of training
update 30-10:
- Topped again after third node. Pruned node 2 and left node 1 + 3 intact. I will not be topping after this anymore.
- Coco is again not drying out (watering every 24h). I'm gonna cut back on frequency and volume of waterings.
- Regardless, her leaves are gigantic and she's growing very fast now
- Through the microscope it looks a little bit early, but due to scheduling reasons I have to take her down. Harvest after 10 weeks and 3 days in flower.
- Yield looks pretty good, will update after drying
- Yield update (dried) = 166gr / 5.86oz
Ehh too bad there is too much light on pics we can't see the buds and plants itself ... Just reduce the light intensity or something next time .. looks nice but I can't see all
