ts4707 Started the seeds in paper towels. Moved to compacted coco coir in a tp roll once tap root formed and misted with water. Moved under light waiting for first sprout. Added 7.5 gal to hydro reservoir. Reservoir ppm 706. ph 6.56 added nutrients 9/24

ts4707 first week is going well. Temps are a little high. Installed the fan to hopefully get them down. Roots are starting to peak out through the bottom. hopefully they reach the water soon.

ts4707 Roots are still not grown down to the water. I have been spooning the nutrient water into the pots every time the coco gets dry. Root tips are poking out of the openings in the pots.

ts4707 Severe deficiencies. Not sure what nutrient. I changed the resevior to pure tap water for a week and flushed the pots. Algae was getting out of control and ph was climbing.

ts4707 Flush seems to have helped. Re-added normal nutrients and covered the reservoir with a towel to prevent more algae growth. Pruned the leaves that showed signs of nutrient deficiency. will monitor for more signs.
