Not the best documented grow so far, it's been fairly hands off as most work has gone into making the room, these plants way over vegged and are too close for the space. Also unsure if I have enough light or too much.
Going to rip old aircon out and replace with one that can keep temps below 30c
New aircon, sealed a number of leaks, clone from a friend went male so was killed with passion, the small "veg" area I have cobbled together is working well for how clapped together it is.
Veg is running under a 400w digital ballast dialled to 250w super lumen, the clones were taken 3 weeks into flower and have only just started true vegetative growth again, with 6 total clones vegging I have 4 in Autopots getting bottom fed, one in a growbag to try it out and one in a dwc bucket also to try it out. Dwc is the smallest and slowest growing but I also did wash off the Coco/perlite/vermiculite mix and repot it only 4 days ago.
All next gen clones are supercropped(revegged) and I have been doing the kushman chiropractic twisting to give the best strength for the future. Two clones were moved into flower room 3 days ago to begin next stage of what I hope is the perpetual cycle as it should only be 2 weeks tops until the 4 big plants come down
Honestly no idea what week of flower we are in, the room only just recently got properly light sealed and since these plants don't herm under stress just slow down it probably will take another week or two before they are ready to chop, I have given a half strength feed this week and will give plain water then after. Trichomes seem 50/50 cloudy/clear with a small scatter of amber, didn't have the best photography skill today between unsteady hands and air movement in the room.
Room will be getting 2 modern board LEDs @ 300w draw to bring it upto equivalent 2x600w HID, combined with light rotary + good genetics + managed environment next run should be 🔥
Heavy foxtailing and amber trichomes appearing on week 11, mostly cloudy from what I can tell only have a x40 scope, chlorosis beginning heavy in 2 plants but it's time for all to chop. Had a few immature seeds forming in lower buds of bananathrower plant not an issue.
Pulled about 1200gram from 4 plants or 2.5 pound. Last run was 2 plants pulling 2lb so overcrowding caused weak bud growth outside of main colas and I don't like the bud structure after trimming it a second time very leafy and it isn't special at all so will be killing out the clones and flower the biggest because it's going to become a monster and also flower immediately due being equatorial the longest day all year here being only 13 hours and shortest 10.5 hours
Unknown clone gifted, been run for years, will not herm to light leaks as far as I can tell but throwing banana on lower branch by week 11. Huge harvest over 2.5lb dry 3 days trimming on and off so far and happy as hell. Won't be running the strain again bud structure sucks and it doesn't have the aroma or flavours I want
Perpetual is a wonderful way to grow..I myself have a perpetual setup I'm retired and my growing keeps me busy my wife's always saying you might as well live down there with them it's all you do playing with plants in the dungeon 😆, Dungeons of Dankness it is then..I enjoy it all she enjoys the results of my work. Happy Growing and best of luck
@Godesskat, thanks mate been a long journey getting the environment dialled and the room sealed, etc. Still need to build a wall which will give a good 4x8 for veg and leaves a 4x3ft area for cloning/mother and seeds
