Plant gets very bushy and requires constant defoliating (in my opinion). She's pretty much stretched easy and west gonna let the branches go up now and see what the canopy starts to look like while still training the 2 main colas from topping
I've also had the Joe on an organic regiment and he also smells very strong already, its also a frigging bush. Its very easy for this plant to get outta control with the massive amounts of fan leaves and side branching it can create. I haven't even begun to really defiolate and lollipop because everything is so close together, I'm really just trying to create more light right now by moving the top fan leaves and middle.
Did some defoliating and it pretty much looks like I did nothing compared to last weeks entry. I'm probably going to have to pull back the branches at this point to get light into the plant, first world problems at this point. The organic regiment is really bringing out her terps and flavor profile as she is the smelliest plant out of 12 photos and 3 autos so that's saying alot. I don't think I'll ever grow this synthetically simply because of what she's showing me organically, I'll always take quality over quantity.
Had to get to work on getting sunlight to the buds sites so I decided to strap her down. Didn't really want to due to space in the tent but if I didn't I would've wasted yield. With the amount of bud sites I couldn't create lighting by simply removing fan leaves because the plant is a literal bush BUT a very fragrant bush.
She started to show some signs of burning along with my other plants on the organic regiment (Banana Kush, Red Hot Cookies). I have a total of 7 plants organic but only 3 showed burn. The burn didn't show up until yesterday or today, either way I gave them 1.5L of water and trimmed the affected fan leaves. I'm growing in a coco mix with a whole lot of Perlite so it shouldn't take long to flush the medium.
Was away on vacation so I didn't get much time to car for any of my plants, saw she was burning and the only thing I thought of was the hot soil since all I had her fed while I was away was water. She's super fragrant which was my goal for this particular run of plant to highlight the aroma and flavor of the buds. Not too happy with the size of the buds but I'll take quality over quantity any day of the week. She's approaching week 7 on Saturday and I don't anticipate the buds getting any bigger past this week so we shall see
The little bush has transformed into a big smelly bush literally, I have charcoal filters that I never use and you can smell the terps from the time you open the front door (the plants are in the basement). Trichromes look like its gonna be another week and a half or so.
Plant is very oily and frosty, to the touch it feels wet and smells great. In the home stretch with all of these plants and I'm ready to get started again with some new strains.
Was hoping she would be ready but she's got a few more days to go at best a week. Wished I went harder with the Npk for the yield but I was able to accomplish what I set out to do which was get the most out of the terps and aroma of the plans and she's smelly, oily and sticky. This was organic and I know I short changed myself on the yield
This plant is very easy to grow and grows like A typical indica bush that needs alot of defoliation at times. The plant gets very fragrant early and it carries over into flowering as the buds form. This isn't the plant to grow if you don't have a filter, I'm not hiding my grow so I don't use a filter and these buds are LOUD. It has A very sweet aroma that could be smelt from my front door (the tent is in the basement). It has A very narcotic high that doesn't hit you immediately which makes you smoke more, by this time you're baked. This was the only plant I trained and she liked being stretched, the low yield was me not wanting to overdo the nutes and focus on feeding the medium which paid off in the plants aroma, flavor and oils. Total yield was 2.55oz forgot to take a pic of the scale.
