I never comment on other people’s grows unless they ask a question....but I have to chime in and say your buds look phenomenal...you hafta be sharpening the scissors to chop soon. I don’t think I’ve seen any buds more aesthetically pleasing than these. Is there a big difference in the smell of the two strains?? Well done and I’m guessing 3.5 to 4 oz dried.....but I hope you get even more.

@Bullmark, Thanks! That means a lot. I’m really happy with how they’ve turned out. I’m itching to chop them but I’m going to hold out. I’d rather wait a bit too long than chop a bit too early. They smell very pungent together, that’s for sure! The Sour is the stinkier of the two. It smells awesome but don’t ask me to describe it. Lol.

Looks good growmie! Almost done, you made it! Can't wait to see the finished product! Great pics too, trich's look great! Are you harvesting when you get amber or before? Will you shut the tent down and dry in there or do you have a separate area? I'll be harvesting any day, just wondering how you'll be drying.

@Growaholic, I’d like to see just a little amber before chopping, but we’ll see how patient I can be. Lol. Anytime after they’ve gone mostly cloudy will be good. The 3BOG is pretty close already. I want to shut down and dry in the tent. Hopefully I can chop them both at the same time. I’m going to dry in brown paper bags though, so I might be able to have one drying in the tent while the other finishes.

Looks good ! How do you like drying in paper bags ? Do you wet trim and straight into the bags ?

@Grackle, right on ! I did a 4 day hang and then into the bags, maybe I'll try your method out with some of my next run ! Thanks for the response

@Whilhelmthegrower, I liked the paper bag dry and will use it again. It was easy and clean and worked well I think. I didn’t keep the humidity up enough though and they dried quicker than I intended. And yes, wet trimmed completely down to buds and into the bags, a single layer. Next time I may leave more on the stem to slow the drying a bit.

@Growaholic, I know, the stretch has been crazy! I managed to rig my light way up to the top of the tent, hopefully it’ll be enough. But I’m definitely going to top my plants on the next grow.

Hope this one works out. Did you have trouble with the skywalkers? I planted 3 and only got 1 that was normal. I've had multiple people tell me that Meph genetics are finiky. And ya, I've been following the usps thing on Reddit too. Sucks that a man in a suit says you can't grow in some states. Good luck on this round 🤜💥🤛

@Growaholic, The Skywalker was looking good at first but seemed to stop growing. I probably jumped the gun on it, but I didn’t want to burn another week or two on a questionable start. The Cream Caramel was a just bad seed I think. I have a couple more Skywalker seeds and will definitely give them a go next. Yours are looking good, even the weirdo! 😆

Wow, all i here is amazing things about mephisto genetics, very hard to get their seeds in Australia! Hope they are all they’re “cracked” up to be! :) round 3 fight 🥊✊
