Out of 2 seeds one germinated and one did not. They were freebies and apparently one of the rarer strains from ethos so I'm just happy I got the one. Seedling is very healthy and growing quick.
Had a good 2nd week of veg. Definitely showing its indica dominance leaves are fat and still no stretch at all. It is now shorter than the autos but much wider and much larger leaves.
Still going good at week 3. Tried giving 1/4 strength nutrients and she got a bit darker green so I will hold off until probably late week 4. I topped her and tucked some leaves, which she responded well to. She has to veg until the autos are done so I am probably going to top her 2-3 more times. Normally not my preferred training method but in this situation I don't want her to take over the whole tent yet so slowing her growth with topping is a plus for me.
Loving this plant she is doing exactly what I hoped, staying short and responding well to topping. I topped her, accidentally broke a branch off her and had to defoliate a couple leaves that were in the dirt and she didn't skip a beat. Plant is still very green but not clawing or getting nute burn like the others. Despite the huge leaves and short height of this plant her branches seem to have no problem finding their way to light so I've done nothing else but tuck a leaf or 2. Expecting a nice even canopy with 1-2 more toppings.
Not much to add this week. Just keeping her short and happy while I flower the autos. Topped her a second time and pulled a few leaves. New growth is now healthy and no longer dark green. She still managed to gain a couple inches off height and width this week despite the abuse.
Not many cheezy poofs grows out there! I did see on a forum a guy grew it and said it had weak stems in flower. Lol seems like as soon as I read that, mine started to all fall over. Just tied it all up today. Both plants I grew have long lengthy thin stems that can't support the buds.
