DIY cabinet grow // LED // Autos

I was away for a few days over Christmas. The girls were okay thankfully. The Cinderella Jack has foxtailed ever so slightly, likely due to the extreme light conditions I've been using. Nothing major, and useful information to know where her limit is. I'm thinking of another CJ run after this as I'm so impressed by the bud structure and vigor, so having a benchmark of maximum light is great. Some minor smell leaking from the cabinet. I think my carbon filter is finally giving up. I have some Ona gel for reinforcements. The smell leaks seemed mostly confined to my apartment thankfully. I still have my liberty, for now. (Update harvest day: I have installed a new carbon filter - not exactly stealth if the whole building smells of dank. Let this be a lesson to everyone - have a backup carbon filter ready to go!) Day 82 / 75 - gonna be just water from here for another week or so, then they will all get the chop. Ideally I'd let the CJ and NL run a bit longer (judging by trichs), but for the sake of convenience and stank I will cut them all at once, and hang dry them in the cabinet. I have to go away again for a few days so I'm going to give them a nice big drink of plain water before I leave, and plan to chop on 3rd January 2022. Day 90 / 83 ish - I've lost track of the days, but it's around the 90 day mark for Jon Snow and the others about a week behind. Today is chop day! The Jon Snow has ambered up nicely, as has the Northern Lights. Judging by trichomes the Cinderella Jack could go a bit longer but for the sake of convenience they all die tonight. Harvest: I will trim most of the large fan leaves off and anything that looks a bit gnarly. The plants will be hung by individual branches from small plastic clothes hangers (see pics) inside the grow area which has been cleaned with some anti-bac spray. I ran out of room so rigged up a small hanging line for the remaining branches. The odd small popcorn nug has been throw into a brown paper bag. I'll have a small desk fan in there too, just not in pics. I live in a cool, relatively high humidity area, usually ~ 17c/65% ambient so I have the dehumidifier running alongside to keep it around 60% ish. After a few days of hanging I will trim the branches down to individual buds and place them in brown paper bags for a couple of days, before moving them to jars for the final cure.
