The new season is here and wow have I been starved out waiting to grow again.
My good friend @CapeGrows https://growdiaries.com/grower/capegrows blessed me with a beautiful clone from one of his plants.
Super keen to see how this is going to go. She is currently in a temp pot of 11 liter and I will be transplanting her over to her permanent house of a massive 75l.
She has arrived from her initial house @CapeGrows https://growdiaries.com/grower/capegrows
Such a great gift. The plant has literally doubled in size from week one and she has been here now for 3 days.
Found it amazing as the plant needed to adapt to harsh wind conditions.
Hope she muscles up a bit.
Insane that this is how the plant looks at week 4. I skipped week 3 because I had some metrics wrong but this plant is going to the moon.
The massive shock from moving houses and basically climates have subsided and she is looking happy and my word she is thirsty.
I think I have a giant ;)
My biggest fear has started. She is going into flowering.
I didn't even think about it. The clone came from a 20/4 cycle and now to be exposed to outdoor sun in a complete different environment has caused her to start flowering.
Let's hope she goes back into veg. So I don't really know what to call this stage of growth.
FLOWERVEG!
Still moving ahead in what seems to be full flower. I am hoping the longer days change her stance of what she wants to do.
Never the less she has gained 12 cm in length and is looking super happy.
I mean this is crazy. The plant is still in some sort of shock based on the curling of leaves.
Will she reveg? I really don't think so and I the buds are smelling really nice.
Frost city deluxeness! This is really something special.
I see these type of grows in really controlled environments where crazy alien buds develop.
She has about 2-3 weeks left and this is going to be amazing!
I did some tricome checks today and she is almost ready for harvest. Looks like 3 days maximum before I harvest her.
She is stinking up the neighborhood and is sticky AF wow. Was a really easy grow. Did not expect her to go full on flower on me but I had to make the best of it.
Bud development is good but the size that I was craving is about at 65%.
Can't wait to test this!
So I was initially very disappointed that she started flowering but I then made peace with it and surprisingly got a really good harvest from the plant.
I wanted a giant but it was still great.
