Really excited for the BANANA TANGIE, I soaked the seed in the water and then i put It directly in the 4 l pot in canna professional soil. The bt7 Is under Mars ts1000.
The seed germinated in 3 days with healthy cotyledon. The veg phase will last for 2/2.5 months under Mars ts 1000 for now dimmed at 25%. Then in flower She will go under the attis 300 in a bigger tent.
The bt7 is really healthy and showed a fast development, indeed she's growing the third set of leaves. The internodal space Is tight. No grow techniques is needed in this stage.
The bt7 showed no problem or stress this week. I increased a bit the dosage of fertilizer as my schedule say.
At the beginning of the week i topped her and she developed 6 main top, then during the week i trained and defoliated those top to keep all the plant at the same height.
She drink poorly but reacted well to those dosage of fertilizer.
Surely she will develop a strong structure cause this genetic is very squatty.
WEEK 4
On the beginning of the week i defoliated and tied down the branches to develop a flat structure.
Then mid week i defoliated again to let them spread evenly.
At the end of the week i tied down again the branches.
The bt7 is very healthy, indeed she handed very well all the training.
Now im planning on let her grow freely only with some defoliation for the next month and a half.
The light is still dimmed at 25%.
The bt7 grew very well this week;
i plan on defoliate hard next week to let those internode in the middle grow to reach the top.
I will lower the dosage of fertilizer cause she may have some burn on the tip of some leaves.
By the way She adapted well to both lst and defoliation.
She will not demand a lot of water in this stage.
The light Is still dimmed at 25%.
This week the lady did well.
I noted that she's not a strain that drink a lot.
This week i let her grow and then i defoliated the big fan leaves to let the internodes develop to achieve a bushy structure and for a matter of space.
She's not an heavy feeder i would classify her in the middle.
The plant Is in good condition.
The structure Is bushy as hell, so i will need to defoliate.
I decreased my light schedule to 16on 8 off as we are approaching to flower.
The lady is doing well, but She need a transplant in a big pot asap.
This week i defoliated a lot.
What do u think 15 or 20 liter pot for flower?
EDIT
I transplanted in a 11 liter pot(almost ROOTBOUND).
The bt7 enjoyed a lot the transplant, she's really Happy now.
She's waiting for flower, but i will veg her at least for 1 or 2 week. Then i will put a trellis net and i will do an heavy defoliation before flower.
The bt7 had a beautiful veg.
This was her last week under the Mars ts1000 dimmed at 20%.
Now i will put her under the lumatek attis 300w to let her thrive in flower.
I disposed a trellis net to widen and support their structure.
The plant handed well the transition to flower.
As She Is an indica dominant strain im not expecting that much of a stretch.
I Hope She will cover as much space as possible.
Another beautiful week for the bt7.
I have no need to check for her apart from watering.
I defoliate a bit where It Is needed.
At this point i defoliate only when some leaves cover some Bud sites.
Then i tuck branches in the net to widen the canopy.
The bt7 Is ok, at this point we can see the primordial structure of the Bud.
I will fertilize her for at least 1 or 2 week, then i will use the booster.
During this week i defoliated a bit to increase light penetration.
